Doing all checkpoints in a row and blowing up the Death Star, in SWBF2, enjoy! (PlayStation 4) (Look at the minimap how many people (red dots) where chasing me near the end lmao)
@@jjrj8568and Luke Skywalker would’ve been shot down the second he flew out the trench before the end, it’s why they had to make the trench run in the first place, because the gun emplacements surrounding the trench were far too many in number to deal with completely, hell even coming out of the trench toward the end would of been risky
@@dallassegnothe gravity comes from Gravitational field generated by the Death Star. Every large starship has them which causes them to possibly crash if they lose thrust control Best example was Return of the Jedi when a Super Star Destroyer fell onto the 2nd Death Star The air? lol I dunno
@@theartofgaming8320 I never cared for the BF games except for vehicle and space combat. Games like Rogue and of course the original X Wing series and it’s many descendants were more fun to me. I will say this, the latest one (Squadrons?) is absolutely amazing but only if you play it in virtual reality., otherwise, it’s mainly a souped up version of XWing that tries to do too much in two dimensional awareness.
boy do I miss this game, even though I never got to try the multiplayer aspect of it, I still really wish you could play on every DLC map against bots. Especially the ones like this where it has multiple phases.
ya I honestly think this was better and more charming than SWBF2. and ya having this go from invading death star, rescue r2d2 and then assaulting death star was just amazing! however if it could be done in 2007, I do feel like in +2020 it should be possible to have people chose where they want to be, and not just skip from foot to space with a cutscene lol. much more immersive gameplay, but ya, that's EA
I really enjoyed all the single/co-op modes this game had I wasted WAY too much time getting all the achievements and collectables in the survival modes
@@theartofgaming8320 the trench run itself could of been done better I thought, just didn’t feel like the trench run, I will say however the Scarif rogue one version of this (getting past the planetary shield, stealing the Death Star plans and escaping) was truly legendary
Too bad we didn’t get this in the sequel. Would’ve loved to do the trench run in the second game, they could’ve added the second Death Star attack along with it but alas EA randomly just cut the game’s support which is shamefully tragic
@@theartofgaming8320 it was miles better than swbf2, the only negative opinions I had about swbf2015 was the lack of content and the fact that it was hard to find dlc lobbies later on
I love this. You are trying to destroy the death star, a desperate hour for the rebellion and you have Jabba calling you that you have done his contract.
@@orbaitv5991 He just casually bypasses the rebellion's intercom security to talk about a contract in a language only 5 non-hutts in the entire galaxy can understand, let alone speak fluently
So many fantastic memories of this game with how chaotic it is. During my first time playing this mode I managed to get R2 safe and blow up the Death Star with an A-Wing. Granted most of the checkpoints were already taken but it was still so cool to do that. I absolutely love this game but I haven’t played multiplayer for several months to a year because of all the sweaty players. Their loadout consists of the dreaded jump pack, bacta bomb, and personal shield while also having jitter modded controllers. Every. Single. Time. There’s just no variety anymore. At least the memories are there. TL;DR: This gameplay was awesome! This game is a masterpiece, flaws and all, along with beautiful graphics and amazing maps despite all the sweats. Battlefront 2 is also awesome!
I did this EXACT thing a LOT in this game. Also, I have a trick to cool down Luke’s healing ability in this game. You just constantly grab cool down refreshes. I wish this DLC and the Scarif one is still playable in this game. I played those two DLCs a LOT when they came out. Yes, I love Star Wars Battlefront II, but I wish these DLCs were still playable.
kinda stupid of EA to make Scarif so late just before the 2 released and not include it lol, but ya, also I know of the pickups but I had to blow up the death star fast to save the rebel base!
@@theartofgaming8320, well, just before they cut support to Battlefront II, EA did in fact released the Scarif map. The Rise of Skywalker DLC was added before that, and Co-Op Missions, where you play with three other players and face off AI while defending/capturing command posts. If you haven’t played since the release, you should get back into it. The game STILL has a STRONG player base today!
I really wish they put this into battlefront 2, but sadly they didn’t, and then they straight up abandoned battlefront 2 for battlefield 2042, when they could have just continued with battlefront 2 which was already perfect, or even made a battlefront 3, there was no need to focus everything on a single battlefield game
I remember doing the entire run as Luke back then as well, though I think I full sent it, ties kept crashing trying to keep up. I had a lot of good moments in this game, just wish my Xbox didn't purge all my old clips.
I did somrwhst enjoy battlefront 2015. But for me the downsides was the token and hero system, and gun play. And the heros were lackluster. Bf2 did it much better. Walker assault was pretty much impossible to win for rebels. The maps were good. Trench run was good.
ya hero system better in swbf2 and too few heroes :( they should just have updated hero system and put more heroes into swbf and newer made a new game. but ya, that's EA for you they just want to pump games out for money
@@Zoomii5God that’s so depressing the DLCs in the hay day were some of the most fun I’ve had in gaming and now you can’t even revisit it without people.
@TrixterCharizard Yea it is. I've heard that sometimes you can find DLC matches on the weekend, I was able to play a little bit of Outer Rim one weekend. But they aren't active at most times.
I'm sorry but the way EA made this just sucks. Only a couple of minutes to proceed. The trench isn't even as long as the movie. No turrets shooting at them. No Vader on your tail. And didn't even show Red Five fleeing from the explosion, just stopped to be claimed by it.
theres multiple faces to get there, but ya, its short if one person just flies through. however every time the assigned pilots die you lose checkpoints. long trench would be kinda odd here lol, idk if turrets would be too much, Vader can spawn on enemy team I think? lmao but ya, to fix these things, the whole gameplay would need to be changed
And this happened approximately? 0 TIMES during my time playing BF 2015. Lol Seriously, what moronic devs thought this was a good idea? The casual player could never complete such a stupid advanced run. Empire always won on this segment when I played
I'll take that as a compliment! I actually think I did this more than once lmfao. But the route is silly tbh, it's not easy to memorize where to go if you don't want to leave the trench or have to turn around like I did
Bruh nah its easy as shit on the rebellion. Just get the cooldown for your xwing and you can spam your shield to protect from fire. I won every time lmao
Dawg tbh it sounds like a mild skill issue. I’m a pretty average player and i remember completing the full trench run several times. It’s was so much fun
Its on the Death Star DLC map, after R2D2 is rescued ^^ (the mission starts out with attack on the airspace near the Death Star and you need to get a crew inside or something)
@@theartofgaming8320 Not if they only have the player run down the trench for a couple of minutes, with Vader behind him, and Han Solo coming to the rescue at the last second. Oh, and the player can't use a targeting computer, so any aim assist is switched off. Just fire it in the right direction and we assume The Force was used by Luke to aim it more precisely.
??? Have the people who made this game WATCHED "Star Wars"? - The X-Wings in this game are driving slower than cars in a parking lot. X-Wings were ROADSTERS...it was all about SPEED. - The trench not some maze-like obstacle path. It was a long/narrow corridoor with laser cannons and tie fighters coming after you. - X-Wings were supposed to protect the Y-wing bombers and offer protection to other X-Wings on bombing runs. - Proton torpedoes went one at a time...and they were FAST...not long/slow missiles. THIS GAME LACKS SPEED.
-faster would probably not be user friendly, however, I agree you should be able to boost a little -lmao ya but that would probably be boring in gameplay -ya you are right tbh. should force at least a few people to pick Y-wing in first half of the match
@@growlanser5600 lmao dont make star wars fanbase look sexist now, I don't think the female voices are too much in this game. however I agree that Disney is very feministic with star wars
After seeing this I realize the empire would have to have been really stupid not to line the trench with defenses both fixed and mobile. It just goes to show how dumb the story really is.
They could have made the trench much better, I think of going high speed down a straight away like Le Mans and maybe throw in a few turns, this was very tame
I mean maybe a little too many female voices, most soldiers are men, should be like at least 80% men. or allow a setting for it? idk. but I don't think its TOO MUCH in this game tbh. its nothing compared to the new woke star wars from Disney.
