Always a good day when a new Hasbro Star Wars Black Series wave shows up on my doorstep. And it took me a few hours to realzie that these are all TV show scharacters. Bo-Katan from the Mandalorian. Asajj Ventress from Cloens Wars. THen Hunter, Crosshair, and the Elite Squad Trooper from the Bad Batch. Just a nice assortment all around!

It's the same kind of guys that go out to the stores and spend half an hour at every Hot Wheels display. They buy the "rare" ones up and sell them. Many quit their main jobs to resell figures, die-cast cars, ammo, whatever they can make the most profit on.

Fun fact: the elite squad trooper isn’t a clone trooper. It was the empires first attempt of show casing enlisted troopers.

Very commendable of hasbro to opt for unique sculpts among every bad batch member, and the head sculpts! Photoreal doesnt always nail it but when it does it REALLY does

I want to thank you for your videos.I don't have the capacity to collect, nor the mullah. I worked retail for 20 years and setting the action figure Isles would satisfy. that goes back to 91. The elite trooper is the phase 1 of the death trooper. Also hunter and crosshairs are wearing the commando armor and blaster. hopefully we will get a republic commando soon. The pistol is the stander blaster for clone officers and all the commanders have it but Cody and gree.

Fingers crossed for an upscale of the vintage collection Clone Wars Anakin and Obi-Wan figures. I'd love to get my hands on a 1/12th Anakin and Obi-Wan, but they're so expensive everywhere I look. Plus, I'd love to get the clone wars designs, and see an updated version with the photo real. The Archive Collection Anakin is impossible to find, haha. Great showcase! Looks like Hasbro has figured it all out! I find it amazing that they've gotten them from where they were in 2015, all the ways to what we have now while still keeping the price at 20 bucks. Whether it shows how cheap they were before, or how well they've kept costs low, it''s a huge improvement!

I was REALLY hoping they would do a swappable head for Bo-Katan and was disappointed to see that they didn't. I hadn't thought about it as much for The Bad Batch, but it definitely seems like it would've been helpful for them too.

Seeing some shots from the bad batch it seems like the large helmets for the bad batch characters are actually pretty accurate. It actually looks like hunters helmet is kind of small for what it is in the show

I actually got the Bo Katan figure at Target and she was only $20. I kept her in the box and have her next to my TVC Mando figures. Unfortunately don't have a Mandalorian or Grogu yet but I'm working on it.

The rubber piece over Bo-Katan's torso I could see them redoing for the season 2 Boba Fett, mainly since we saw that section of the suit was an overlay and with Cobb Vanth wearing it maybe it'll be a separate piece that they can reuse for him as well, or maybe all of Boba Fett's armor will be swappable to give us that non-armored look from the beginning of episode 6. Who knows.

Those Bad Batch figures are great I suppose, but it still breaks my heart to see Hunter using the same carbine Clone Commandos do... maybe it's just me, but I would've taken normal Clone Commandos or even Delta Squad over the Bad Batch any day of the week. Who knows though, since Clone Commandos reappeared in Battlefront 2 maybe Hasbro will take some initiative and make a mold for it that they can use in either the normal line or the Gaming Greats subline (I doubt the latter though, seems they mostly just do reuse for those figures...). Regardless, I know I'm not alone in saying I would KILL for a boxset 4 pack with all the members of Delta Squad.

The thing I'm excited about with the Bad Batch is that their armor is essentially Republic Commando armor (and backpack), so hopefully this might mean they can use the body sculpts in the Black Series Gaming Greats line and we can finally get figures of Delta Squad or even just a basic white armored Republic Commando figure and leave it up to people to customize them into Delta Squad or Omega Squad or Gregor or really any RC we want to make. I think a white Republic Commando figure with just a helmeted head and with the optional attachments for the DC-17 blaster would be perfect and versatile enough to allow people to make them whichever character they want, and it would save Hasbro from having to print up several variations of the box.

That bottom bit on Hunter's blaster is just a under the barrel handle for the Republic commandos who use this modular blaster, its fine since really the only way you'd know of the Commando's existence is from some specific episodes of the Clone wars, BFII 2017 or the Original Republic Commando Videogame where the commandos originally appeared

With the old knees on the Trooper you don't have to worry about the knee pad being in such an odd position when one knee down kneeling pose. The new Clone knees the pad has to go off to the side in a very unnatural way. I wish they would have fixed the inner elbow pad strap tearing problem. This is the first full wave in a while that I am really looking forward to getting. Thanks Robo, for the excellent review.

But you can't get the old legs into a one knee down kneeling position because of how you have to turn the thigh for the armor to miss the hip in order to bring the leg up to 90. The leg then crossed over to the other side. I'm not sure if that makes sense, haha!

I don't remember seeing the review for Darth/Dark Rey. They have a figure even though it was only on for fraction of a second... hahaha... I prefer removable helmet rather than swappable heads. It is more realistic -including the bigger head effect. I wonder which is cheaper to make? And I have to look for the Boba Frett with the skirt review too. I really don't remember those reviews. Another good video.

I’m not huge on the clone wars and I couldn’t care less about the bad batch show, but those 2 bad batch figures look incredible besides the bucket helmets.
