I wasn't too excited about the C-3PO with Battle Droid body from this Hasbro Star Wars Black Series 2-pack but the Super Battle Droid MORE than makes up for it!

Probably because of the way it's engineered, the 3PO head is moulded onto the stalk so they probably thought it wasn't worth the effort. Why they didn't pack it with a regular geonosis B1 is the real mystery! Make the 3PO a single release and make more sales

This 2pk is setup for people to only buy 1. Maybe there can be legitimate reasons for that. Limited capacity or testing new stuff on B2, pay for the mold with this release subsidized by B3PO, go nuts with the single release. That or it's Lucasfilm dictating you shall only make a specific entertainment inspired B2 named Tim, and now repeat "we just love and are so lucky to work with our partners at Lucasfilm, amen."

I definitely would have bought 3-5 packs if the head was interchangeable, I could have used all the extra C3PO heads for my Droid repair shop diorama

What I love most about these toys is that you can put them in front of a camera and have them do things you never see in the films. The Super Battle droid poses, in this instance, are more badass than I’ve seen anywhere else and C-3PO is sillier than ever!

If that was a regular dirty/battle-damaged battle droid, I'd have bought _at least_ 2 of these, even with the single release super battle droid announced, since I don't have any regular battle droids. But I honestly have no place for the C-3PO in my collection, so... single release it is! At least the super battle droid looks great!

The Super Battle Droid sculpt is absolute perfection! I have been waiting years and years and years for this release and it totally delivered! Deco could use some help but I'm thinking the clean version is gonna be my favorite release of the year. There's heft and it has ZERO issues standing. One-foot running poses? Easy! I can't appreciate enough that they went all in and included the removable plates to expose the weak points like in republic commando, where it was best to blow those plates too then shoot the weak points withe the sniper configuration, that detail is going to be great to pose this battledroid with the republic commandos they've made, I myself only have Boss, but is more than enough, I can't wait to get the single release of the B2 super battledroid to pose them together.

Wow, I see a gaming greats release of the super battle droid in the future. The internal details I've seen in the Republic commando video game. P.s. I think it's meant to be the super battle droid that fell on top of battle droid 3PO. Not sure though, but it's a safe guess.

The pieces that come off are from Republic Commando, and old Lucasfilm game and also, possibly a throw back to the classic Clone Wars from 2002, where Mace Windu destroys a bunch of the B2s, awesome detail on Hasbro's part

Ok so you can buy multiple of these and take off 3P0s head/super battles armor and use them as field fodder I guess. But including a battle Droid head would have put this pack over the top.

Single packed figure is going to sell out. So you better jump on them when they are offered. Yes Hasbro will release other repaints. I’m just saying this figure is one of the best they have made in last couple of years and it’s an army builder. Better plunk down your $100 to get 3-4. Otherwise wait for the repaint. It is a tremendously fun figure. It’s in my top 10 for the year.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, but couldn’t you buy a bunch of these and army-build but get Casting Cave or someone to produce Battle Droid heads reasonably priced and replace the C-3po head with a cast or 3D printed and painted head?

TIL (or realized) that the heads on the Super Battle Droids are modified heads of the regular battle droids covered in armor. 🤯 I just assumed the whole body was kinda like a giant head as well (like MODOK) for some reason.

My inner nerd rage is just reminded of how dumb I thought the the whole 3PO as a battle droid sequence was in the movie... For one, why would his body control his head? Wouldn't his head "stuff" determine what his body does? The logic of 3PO fighting jedi in this mode kills me. So yeah, i hate this figure on principle, lol. Super Battle Droid is killer though🤘
