I think if this story instead was a Disney show and not a game, it would have still been pretty good. Disney has done good, only with stories that have no main Star Wars characters as a focal point, and tie into the main story. Once a largely loved character, or the main story line of the franchise get into a Disney story, then they sh!t the bed before filming even starts.

How could they even come up with such a nonesense during a time mp-only games are dead on release (because the market is oversaturated anyway). You literally get the double-bladed lightsaber by visiting one of the same frigging benches you find anywhere. You literally walk up to it, then boom, double-bladed lightsaber. The only character that is good loses its likability instantly cuz of a stupid-ass design choice. Literally, every time you open a chest the droid runs off your shoulder into the chest, and each and every single god damned time the MC yells out in surprise. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMNED TIME. There are 30 chests alone, on the first planet...

Maybe I'm confused on what Linear means because I found it quite tedious and linear. You can only go where the game wants you to, when it wants you to. There's no branching off to do your own exploring. That's linear in my book.

There have been, on the other hand, lots of single player games that have tacked-on multiplayer. I don't need to exemplify; I think you could find plenty of examples if you looked on your own. Fallen Order falls into the category of not needing a multiplayer mode I think. Though that is not exactly what my comment says, it is what I mean.

The best games have no multiplayer and plenty of us gamers prefer single player narratives over competitive multiplayer, GoW (2018), Spider-man (PS4), plenty of RPGS, Zelda: BotW, a d basically any phenomenal masterpiece exclusives from Sony and Nintendo are great example of why single player games are amazing, this games only further validates my point as well! Not to also mention that games with an amazing single player story but also a tacked on multiplayer are usually only memorable and beloved for their narration not there meh multiplayer (examples of this are the Last of Us, the Uncharted games, Doom (2016), RDR2, etc.)!

I disagree, a mode where you can alter your character's appearance and showdown with other players using this games combat mechanics would have been awesome.

dude, online coop will ruin everything (local coop is fine though)... any DRM content will ruin your experience. If coop implemented, then other chain reaction will happen (and we talkin about EA ffs)...have you play Mass Effect 3, Dead Space 3, simcity? literally kills the title brand with online component.
