Star Wars Jedi Survivor is FINALLY Fixed... 

This is game is not fixed. PC performance is still disgusting, and PS5 still has bugs, frame dips, and crashes.

Waited for this patch, just finished the game a few days ago and man it is the definition of a perfect sequel. I really enjoyed fallen order, and they literally expanded the game in meaningful ways and mitigated some of the annoyances of the first. 10/10

Just picked it up last night, running pretty decently for me now. Steam sale lined up well with them fixing it.

This game was the reason I upgraded to the PS5, it ran fine for me with only 1 or 2 crashes. I love this game, I completely agree that it is everything you hope a game sequel will be but very few are. If you liked the first one you will like this one even better

I watched your previous video and agreed with mainly everything you said. I plan on replaying this game again in a few weeks, completely fresh install, and I really hope I don't run into any issues. I'll go with an open mind, I'll accept some stuttering around intensive areas like the saloon, but if I don't have the smooth experience I'm hoping for, my opinion of the game won't go any higher. It is in every way a masterpiece, but when you have the combat system of Jedi: Survivor you can't afford lag spikes and crashes ruining your gameplay. Not even one bit.

What happened to lightsabers having a white core, not a huge problem but they kind of just look like glow stick toys a lot of the time now. In games and on D+

I have a gtx 980 i7 3930k and i was a ble to run it smooth on 720p. Only problem the screen is small lol

I saw someone writing in a comment that performance in last third of the game goes down again for example on Koboh, when the Cantina gets more NPCs and such. Did you experience that too?

Might have to replay it now when the main open world doesen't make me freeze every 5 seconds.

As a console player this game was fine apart from fps spikes at times and just a solid 40fps didn’t feel that smooth but now it’s locked 60 and all is perfect

I preordered and beat the game in the first week, and never had a single issue. Maybe some frame rate drops.

My map on ps5 still wouldn’t work until they dropped this patch the other day and before that I had 3 trophy’s and never got them because it just made me so mad

I get around 80-120fps in enclosed and well optimized areas and 40-60 fps in open world like Koboh. I have been using a mod to change the view distance and other settings to improve performance but this game still needs a ton of work

Define fixed, because I still get frame rate drops when a cutscene gets ready to happen. But I will say in the two weeks that I have been playing it, the game only kicked me out once.

It makes me happy seeing that master assassin uploads, your a RU-vidr I will always watch and never get bored.

I played survivor 3 days after release on my rtx 3070 laptop and got 40 - 60 fps and i loved it, it was definetely playable for someone like me but i never got the full and best experience out of it, definetely one of the best if not the best star wars story games ever and im very excited to replay this with these patches. love this game

The worst part about this game to this day is trying to decide what stance to use! They all be so good

Trying it again after this video but at launch I had an absolutely horrendous time playing it. I took me about 30 irl hours to get 20 in game hours with not much progress

I plan on buying it, just not sure whether to get the series x version or the PS5 version yet.

I always thought that this could have been a game of the year contender along with bg3 and zelda if it launched in a good state.

It is drastically improved but there's still more refinements to do.

Still needs a patch to unlock cutscenes to 60 fps instead of locking it at 30 fps it's so annoying. They better do something about that too.

This game is GOTY in my opinion. Amazing story, amazing character growth, etc. I wish Assassin's Creed could do a story like that. Fingers crossed for Mirage.

Yeah, still not fixed. The performance issues persist on PC, and it is making it very hard to continue playing. Bummer.

I don't understand what they are doing. I can play Battlefront II @ 6K with stunning detail (AMD claiming I'm getting over 100 FPS) and this stuff has trouble playing.

on what planet is this fixed? Just reinstalled because of this video, and the game seems to operating identically to before. has there even been an update? XD Best frames I can get is between 15-30. Would appreciate any advice. I have a 2080 Ti, so I feel like this shouldn't be an issue.

NOTE : If you are having stutter issues in your game, I would HIGHLY recommend 32 GB of ram. I am almost positive it will increase your games performance AND get rid of stuttering! Let me know if this helped

I got this game about a week ago and I finished the main story in a couple of days. Im not sure whether my PC is low or mid tier. My specs are AMD Radeon RX 6600 8G GPU with a AMD Ryzen 5600G CPU. 16gb of RAM. I had trouble running it as soon as I turned on my pc. It was like it had to warm up first so I would turn on my PC and load up the game. i would then just sit in a meditation spot for 15 - 20 mins. I would then play for a bit on high settings. 1920p unlimited FPS vsync off. It would still be a bit rough when I would move around to start but after like 5 mins you are good to go. It is smooth and very playable. My PC is budgeted and I could still run high very well. It is a great game that had me engaged every single step of the way. The lightsaber stances were definitely a highlight for me. Aswell as customisation for Cal. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a game to sit down and play for a couple of days 🙌

Hi! I just got off of Coruscant and am stuck in the Mantis. Every time I try to enter the cockpit I get a pop up saying “This game needs to download and install the latest patch in order to proceed”. I have tried looking around the internet but have found no solution. So much for a fixed game. If anyone has any solutions please tell me!

I must’ve got lucky, I played on console(ps5) and didn’t have one single issue through 50+ hours

i ran this game very well on launch... all people had to do was to put amd to balanced and your fps doubles. i only have a 3060 and i ran it 1440p max graphics and 30-50 fps. every other youtuber seems to have ran it fine including my brothers computer. although with this update i can put on ray tracing and get 30-60 fps

The game works fine for me in terms of fps but i have a problem that makes my screen really dark that i cant't see anything on narrow/closed spaces but when i'm outside in the world it looks fine and the fps is good and also it gets really dark in the menu so i can't see cal when i want to change his apperance. Also when i want to go into training mode it also gets really dark that i literally can't see a thing except my lightsaber. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this because it's driving me insane. I'm on pc btw.

Cutscenes on Xbox series x are still at 30fps. Like bruh. I hate that it transitions from sixty frames gameplay to 30 frames cutscenes it hurts my eyes lol

Im still struggling witn this game on PC. Unless im using FSR it looks so muddy and blurry kts disgusting. But FSR makes it look a bit choppy during fast movements. Idk man. Im trying to get through it but as someone who really notices good and bad visual fidelity its very distrascting lol. It almost feels like the game is forced to run at 60hz which is disgusting honestly lol

Fallen order is one of my favorite games so I bought the ultimate edition of survivor for $100...i have not been able to play yet because of the PC issues. I think it maybe time.

Just got it on PS5 for Christmas. Was super excited to dive into the game, but it's in an absolutely unplayable state still. Constant crashes and issues. Update: it still doesn't work March 2024, never buying another EA game.

A little late to this video. But I have a pretty decent pc, I can play most games on high to ultra. I can’t even play this on LOW with everything off. I get 60fps for maybe a minute and then it drops to 6-10 frames and just freezes

Kinda watched your video and bought this game. No. its not fixed. In some places of second planet its barely playable. I have laptop with ryzen 5800h + 3070, sometimes graphic card is like 10% loaded, and fps is 25-30, and its not a problem with graphic settings. there is simply no difference between medium and epic settings - either way its hard to play. They definetely have to patch this thing more, to make it at least playable.

Gonna wait until I can get this game for 5$ or less and even then I'll still think about it. Not worth any higher for the performance they delivered, they just don't deserve it imo.

I don't want to pretend I'm Cameron Monaghan playing around with a lightsaber so no thank you.
