That's what I'm saying to most people but some of them try defend a $70 game that doesn't even look graphically impressive, eats too much VRAM than it needs to be and runs like dogshit. No offense, Jedi Survivor is by far the best Star Wars game to date but it got ruined by super poor optimization.
@@KingKeno777 What I meant was best Star Wars game in this generation...and the remake for KOTOR could blow this out of the water but the original, is outdated...still the best but outdated.
I have exactly same setup and similar frame rates. Latest patch helped to increase non RT rendering however micro shuttering still very annoying and need to be fixed. I waited these for a long time, pre order but now i don't want to play because i don't want to ruin this SW experience due to bad optimization so i will wait. But i must admit that RTX 4090 and i9 13900K is the best duo since Laurel & Hardy, Terence hill & Bud Spencer, Bonnie & Clyde and Zeki & Metin :)
Hmm… This is the best gameplay (performance wise) of this game I've seen to date running on PC regardless of specs - No it's not exactly "ideal" considering it's running on THE most powerful GPU / CPU in the WORLD but at least its playable running a fairly stable ~ 70 FPS Maxed out w/ Ray tracing 4K. I have a very similar build (RTX 4090 - Ryzen 9 7900X - 32GB DDR5 6000MHz / 30CL - 2TB WD_Black Sn850X NMVe M.2 SSD.) I just want to be able to play at 1440P Ultra / Raytracing@ ~ 90FPS stable performance so hopefully this will be within reach before too long. I haven't even tried the game yet so perhaps it's doable now… My 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X (PBO / curve optimizer -20 all cores) while not exactly as potent as the I9-13900K runs at 5500MHz sustained (yes I know it's not JUST core clocks) with occasional boost to 5700MHz so it's a pretty decent CPU. My Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 runs at 2940MHz Stable (+133MHz Core/ + 200MHz Mem) via MSI curve editor (Ranks top 6% World 3D Mark Time Spy - 38990 score) I might have to give this game a try but I have a feeling it just may be a hit or miss thing with this game. I'm also running Windows 11 Pro - Wonder if this matters at all..(Windows 10 vs. 11) I'm running the AMD version of the same MB (Asus Rog STRIX X670E-F) and the same brand of DDR5 Ram 2X16GB (EXPO II @ 6000MHz/ 30CL) as well, CPU is cooled via DeepCool LT720 360mm AIO w/ Thermal Grizzly. Just updated to latest BIOS - 1401 that limits SOC to 1.3V, etc. (Credit: Gamers Nexus) and performance is exactly the same so that's good. Anyways, anybody running a Ryzen 7000 series CPU might want to go ahead and update your BIOS (ver. 1401) for "peace of mind" if nothing else, especially if your running one of those "X3D" CPU's which are more "sensitive" to higher voltages, etc.
I have similar results on Ryzen 9 7950X and TUF RTX 4090 OC with Epic + RT. Jedi Survivor RT mode is the best gaming example that can scale with 32 thread CPU. Low latency Ryzen 7 7800X3D's 16 threads is also a bottleneck for RTX 4090. "More cores" matters for Jedi Survivor RT mode.
@@gozutheDJ Not sure why you typed a response inquiring why somebody typed something other than perhaps reading comprehension / attention span is lacking. Other than that the most important take IMO is to update your BIOS if your running Ryzen 7000 series
how is this game running so "good" for you? I have a 3080 and an i7 11700k and I fight to get stable 50-60 fps, utilization of both is below 50%. this game runs like hell.
@@gibsnium yes that may be, still, the developers need to do a lot of optimising when my CPU is limiting the game at like 50 fps. that cannot be. my cpu ain’t that bad nor old
I thought it was a good performance with constant 60 fps then I went to see tests from the Star Wars Fallen Order and has 144 fps constant with same quality 💀
any person with eyes can see its not the same quality. fallen order looks good, im playin it rn, but its clear survivor’s visuals are stepped up a couple notches with much higher quality assets and clearer animations /motion. the size of the environments also looks massive compared to fallen order. not to mention the obvious quality of the RT lighting.
I don't know why you have almost all the time 95% or more GPU usage, I'm almost all the time 80% or lower GPU usage. I have an i5-13600KF paired with an RTX 4090 and the resolution I have is 3440x1440p.
@@slickckick9430 i have 13900 k + 4090 phantom ..6600 mhz ddr on 6000 mhz ..arctic freezer on cpu ..and im sometimes 50 % gpu usage dropping under 60 fps ...i dont understand whats going on..i might reinstall whole system and start tweaking some things to find out what i setup incorrectly..strange
Rachet and clank on pc is fairly similar quality and many of the same game mechanics as this game, I would even go as far to say that it looks better in some aspects and the performance in that game is doubled compared to Jedi survivor! With a 4090 and 7800x3d I get an avg of 130fps (almost) maxed out but in Jedi I wouldn't even get avg 70fps? Pretty sad.
I have learned that Love has to see so much deeper than hate-seeing eyes to find the clarity of each piece of the puzzle, and piece all one thousand or more parts together. Some truths are bitter, and some truths are sweet. God requires humility, a humbleness to receive grace: that which is not deserved and yet given anyway. I believe in Jesus.

Jedi Survivor RT needs high threads count CPUs. On some levels, it can use 32 threads on Ryzen 9 7950X. Ryzen 7 7800X3D is stoned with just 16 threads.
@@AstroTwist Nope, this game uses a distributive multi-threading programming model despite each CPU core usage being in the low-to-mid percentage. I have this game on Ryzen 9 7950X and TUF RTX 4090 OC and I'm getting similar results as this youtube video's example.
I’m sure the game’s amazing but someone has got to tell these developers that your character “talking to themselves” is actually really fucking annoying
Resident evil 4 looks great i am playing it maxxed out at 100+fps, with xtx 3440x1440, native, however areas are much smaller, LoD poor that makes realy big difference , same about previous game, another problem is engine, unreal 4 isnt ideal in open world scenarios, thats were unreal 5 shines, but you will be able to get use out of 24gb+ of vram anyway at 4k. 3090 is already almost 3 years old hardware, there is no reason to Block rendering capabilities of its owners and stay in way of progress, for the sake of iracional emotions.ask for affordable hardware 24gigs of vram itself costs 70bucks ,320bit+ bus will not be much more expensive. 4080 manufacturing costs close to 300 usd.... isnt acceptable to sell ,such garbage for more than 800 in 2023, its just not. We just need to get more value from hardware itself. 4090 is different story its realy expensive, but at the same time extremely inefficent manufacturing process. CPUs overall are sadly not in very good shape and form... its better to wait probably exactly this happed in unreal 3 and unreal 2 era, lot of 2 years hardware parts, become obsolete, players were not even able to run their new games on many cards from previous gen.
Graphics of this game is so dated. Noticed it during the first one. Even the level design looks like an obvious platformy game. Very weird for areas that are supposed to be "Fortified"
This is probably the most poorly optimized game I've played in some time. I have pretty similar specs except for a 7950x cpu, it's unplayable to me with ray-tracing. Just stutters way too much, such a shame because it's a great game otherwise.
Its sad how bad this game runs still also even with the patches 4090 drops from 60 lots of times which should not be happening thats just not good when having a super expensive gaming pc
13900k, almost cant hold 60fps, they should pay us to play this crap/ Uncharted 4 its game for console, yet game was flawless on my 3300x and 2060 from start to finish on ultra, 60 fps and looks phenomenal
Ну я для 3090to Zotac Extreme Holoblack limited 3546-5000. И 11900ks 5900гц os 😑 Брать убого оптимизированную игру брать не буду какого хрена где 100+ fps 👿🧐😤
Star war jedy fallen is much more better then this. Screenplay action walkthrough even graphics is some parts. World details personally i really don't like this part of star war
Que juego de mierda, el 1ero estaba jugable pero este esta bastante feíto en comparación. El 1ero ni sombras tenía, este sigue igual o peor. Un clasico Unreal game, resbalando por todos lados y viendo piedras, muchas piedras. Piedras y rocas! Eso si que demuestra el potencial!!!!! Y montañas!!!!!
