I agree that a clone wars specific movie would be really cool.

I’ve always thought that the way Plagueis was able to manipulate Sifo-Dyas and get him to even consider the idea of building a clone army behind the back of the Jedi Council, was one of the most amazing things he was able to do. I’d like to see that story done someday. Animated or live action.

I like the idea of doing a live action clone wars, not as a 1-1 remake or replacement of the animated series, but as highlights / major arcs.

I honestly don't know why people are so surprised that a tiny number of Jedi survived. Even with the subtle genius of the plans for Order 66, there were 10,000 Jedi, and a 100% eradication with only 2 left, was never realistic. Less than 100? Absolutely. Besides, Sidious still won.

I'd love more live-action clone wars! I really liked Ahsoka, but the young Ahsoka flashback scene was the best of the season IMO. Thanks Meg for another great video!

I think a Maul series ending with his death on Tatooine would be cool. Or maybe an Obi Wan season two with a focus on Maul as the big bad and ending with his death.

It would be interesting to see Sifo Dyas and live action clone wars flashbacks in the second seasons of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka. Maybe we can see Ahsoka Tano vs Darth Maul in live action in Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 with a three-year time jump after the first season.

Yes! Please give us live action Clone Wars stories - not remaking the animated series, but expanding on some of the stories, or maybe some of the animated stories from Rex's, or another clone's perspective.

I always thought Master Syfo Diaz was killed by Dooku and Dooku went to the Caminoans and presented himself as Master Syfo Diaz, because who could pay for the creation of the Clone Army but Palpatine and Dooku. And furthermore, when Obi-Wan asks Jango Fett who recruited him he said "I was recruited by a man called Tairanus" Which we know that was Dooku's Sith name.

Amazing, Meg! This is such a panoply of ideas and facts that I had to watch it twice to even begin to assimilate it! The part that is foremost to me is how much Disney/Lucas is missing out on. Utilizing Temeura Morrison as the clones and General Syndula et al from Ahsoka (Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch) there are TONS of fabulous stories that can be brought forth! It's a diamond mine! Holy moly!

With the argument of order 66 being “less tragic” because some Jedi survived I say this. Was the Holocaust not as tragic because some Jews and others imprisoned survived? No. Still a tragedy, still just as heart wrenching.

Tech was my main purpose that we were left with s no end to the bad batch and with omega leaving to go into fight in the rebellion was my exact thought into i wanted to know more about andbwhere they sll ended up gojng to in the original films. We just got left with their perfect story and it was that. So thank you lucas for giving us more!

Ok I'll put up my "wish" list of a couple of things I'd like to see. #1- Omega. Yuppers we need to see her as a adult. And be allowed to see more of her capabilities. #2- we should see a reunion of Omega with- i know it sounds crazy- with Teck. There's SOOOO many ways to make that happen. Do I believe this will happen. Of course not. But it could be done and without passing off to many fan boys. Anyway everyone have a great day 🌤.

I guess The secret of the clone troopers isn't talk about Cody, it's only Rex, gregor, wolffe and the bad batch, i think it just volume one, We will see Two clone rebellion shows like captain rex and commander cody series, some characters going to different path in two series, here where characters coming to two series. Captain Rex series - Rex, Echo, Emeries, Gregor, Wolffe, Dogma, Ahsoka tano, Howzer and Darth Vader. Commander Cody series - Cody, Sister, Crys, Crys's droid, Boil, Wooley, Slick, Numa, Obi-wan kenobi, young Luke skywalker, Bly, Admiral Rampart (Imperial camp) and Starkiller.

Sounds cool. Will definitely check it out.

Obi-wan saved a lot of jedi when he sent his message to all absent jedi asking them to not return to the temple and hide, so starting with that we can assume a considerable number of jedi and padawans managed survive order 66.

If there were 10K plus Jedi then it's not unreasonable to think that 50-100 Jedi could have survived (if not more). I dont think it lessens the impact, it just proves how bad assed those surviving Jedi were!

I am so excited for season 2 of Star Wars Ahsoka and I am still sad that in Star Wars the clone wars season 7 episode 12 finale victory and death Jesse had died and I am also still hoping that Lucasfilms creates a Star Wars Captain Rex series because I want to know and see what Rex had went through when the clone wars had ended and about fighting for the clones, for his brothers, and how Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor ended up on Seelos in Star Wars Rebels Season 2 episode 3 The Lost Commanders. Captain Rex is so awesome and so is Jesse and so are all the other clones too, especially the bad batch and most of all Omega.

What would be the point of that? Playing on nostalgia and no new interesting stories. I'm tired of this. Why should I be interested in a story I already know? Can't they really come up with new good stories? The only thing that may interest me is the potential expansion of characters who didn't get enough screen time. And I personally prefer animation for that.

I think it doesn’t work unless you bring back Hayden and Ewan. Star Wars fans have to see the camaraderie between Anakin and Obi-Wan, that makes ROTS all the more tragic when it happens.

Wild to think 9k Jedi couldn’t sense order 66 minus a few like Yoda. It does make me think those Jedi that had some of a personal connection to their clone teams they sensed the attack and increased there odds of escaping. But that would go against Jedi order as they are not to have connections though even Yoda individualized the cones as people and not just clones.

I just want another clone-focused cartoon before Disney/Lucasfilm leave this era of Star Wars behind.

The book looks really interesting except I don't like the way the Clones are drawn. They look like Jango Fett in AoTC while in the animated shows, they look different. The eyes are totally different, and I'm just used to the way the Clones look in the shows.

De-aging automatically takes me out of anything it’s used for.

I dont want a kenobi s2 based aroukd flashbacks or a full CW live action series. The best compromise would be a live action mini series with the trio. I don't think we need maul back especially since ray park might be too old now.

makes sense no plan is without flaws ..i think that s a regular t=lesson that need repeating in star wars ... there are no absolutes' unless you're a sith ..lol i think the future is not ashoka, but the mandalorian or even a chapter 2 of the book of boba fett i think its time the mandalorians accept the remaining clones as fellow mandos ..to aid in the rebirth of mandalore .

I don't think that order 66 survivors are considered Jedi. Most of them were still in training and never completed their training. Asoka never claimed to be one. Neither has most of the survivors. So order 66 truly was just as devastating despite how many Disney force sensitives get pumped out by them.

Given the turmoil at Dis/D+ and Lucas Film I simply do not believe ANYTHING like the show indicated in this vid will actually be delivered. Speculate as you wish but as many have said it is time for the investors to speak up (so not me) and make it clear if they stand behind funding ever more loss making and brand destroying productions or NOT. If the do not then they must clean house - starting at the top and all "in production" or "in development" lists are null. I still anticipate a few projects in reshoot/post will never see the light of day. As a very old long term fan of action and fantasy films and TV series I take every production on their own merits, without any reliance on the lore - my view is simple - "did I enjoy the watch or not?" if I did not why - what was it about what I just watched that did not deliver for me. I am probably fairly rare her / online I genuinely enjoyed the bulk of the Star Wars, Marvel and LoR ROP productions -- but I simply could not get behind either the Acolyte or Blue Beetle world productions. I did greatly enjoy the Ashoka and the animated series that preceded them. Yes live action productions all suffer from what can be argued as excessive timeline cutting and the loss of what many lore fans consider vital plot lines. But one can get past this with a charitable mindset. The economic model for these "in-house" live action productions is a genuine mystery to me -- easier if the production is by an independent house who then sells their product to Netflix or similar - but the whole streaming economy seems vastly over inflated -- that is until advertising and/or much higher subscription or pay-per-view pricing structures return (as they will). What appears nuts are the vfast costs of these type of series -vs- their viewership (if the US 3rd party figures are to be believed). Perhaps they do make money -- but it is hard to see how.

I would be interested in more flashbacks of the Clone Wars, but not a series. It has 7 amazing seasons already.

If they did do a live action clone wars...would it even be worth it...They would just make unnecessary changes and it would reek of desperation from Disney.

Order 66 still ended the Jedi order as an organization so it still succeeded

She was amazing, best star wars in years. The character being old and so alien from cartoons didn't work for me but that small flash back was a 100% how it should be! The series didn't feel right and then you get the flash back! That's the person she is, not the fake cardboard cut out. She was so bad.

No clone rebellion show were getting Delta squad TV show set during the clone war I'm pretty sure rex and Wolffe can't fight due of their Bones

The Clone Wars was never my favorite era of Star Wars even before Disney got ahold of the IP.
