Both tanks have the "Hover: Ground" ability which allows them to reverse, strafe and standby freely. So the tanks weren't used wrong in the battle

I love this game … I love this batrep … I love Nick’s paint!! It’s a good thing I’m not running an army with Anakin and Padme. I would be reciting that whole, “I don’t like sand …” scene at the start of every fight.

@25:25 after Padme moved twice you said, “Padme nimbles twice, which means she gets 2 dodges.” That isn’t how Nimble works. I think you’re thinking of Agile 1, unless I heard you wrong. Nimble 1 returns 1 dodge token after any number are spent to reduce an attack. Agile 1 gains a dodge for each move made.

This was my first time using a big tank...got rules wrong. My bad! Tanks cannot go backwards, had I have known it would just sat back more. Edit: hover actually let's you do all the things I thought I got wrong. Thanks everyone!! May the force be with you

Ground vehicles can reverse, repulsor vehicles can't, except if they have the hover keyword, which the AAT has :)

@@AtomicNik Yup! hover: you can reverse, strafe, and standby. you are treated as a ground vehicle by other units. great paint job btw!!

@@AtomicNik you didn't. The only thing is that when you reverse you reduce your speed by 1 but the aat is already speed 1. The mistake I saw is that when shooting several weapons if you want to make use of "high velocity" all of the weapons must have that keyword or else it doesn't work, so if you shoot high velocity weapon with armor-piercing shells in the same attack pool you lose the high velocity.

Read your Turn 2 Anakin Card, you needed to be within Range 1 of an enemy unit or Anakin takes suppression. Double move should have been your play. Also, Nimble on Padme doesn't give you a Dodge if you move, that's Agile. Nimble gives you a Dodge if you spend a Dodge.

Ash you have 3 1 pips in your deck you cheeky bastard ;). That Ambush on Turn 6 probably shouldve been Assault. Also Standby gets removed if you get shot.

@42:10 Padme could be targeted from Orbital Strike correct? It is 4+ and Padme was at range 4 it looked like from the ruler. Just curious it's a common mistake. I have almost made it and I've seen another player play it outside of range 4. Which that would make it pretty bad in skirmish which we play a lot of here lol

New to Legion, so watching bat reps and learn to play vids. It looked like on the first turn the Republic tank attacked, then also used standby later in the same round. I thought you couldn't use standby if you had already attacked. Was there some piece of equipment or special interaction that allows this? Or did I just miss something? Nice paint jobs btw 👌

Coordinate on the droids is only range 1. It looked like it was being done at range 2, but that could been the angle from the video.

easy mistake to think nimble gives dodges on moves, but it's actually agile. Nimble just lets you keep a dodge after you spend it

How was Padme gaining Dodge tokens when she moved? She doesn't have Agile. Nimble allows her to gain a Dodge token if she spends 1 or more Dodge tokens when defending.

i dont think you can use relentless when making moves that are not a part of a units activation i may be wrong but that means you would be able to relentless with scout moves and that feels wrong cause those work off move "actions" not extra movement

That's correct. While you can use relentless outside your activation, it has to be paired with a move action, which scout moves are not.

A thing to note with Ani. If he gains a suppression from his card, it is also permanent and can't be removed.

No, the effects that generates those tokens is permanent (so if he doesn’t go first, doesn’t attack, etc). The tokens themselves are still removed by Rallying and at end of turn. You’d need at least 2 tokens on him end of turn to potentially trigger his flaw. There’s no such thing as a permanent token.
