One of the highlights of my life was seeing the actual MF miniature from the first film up close with my own eyes, the 200 pound version that's the size of a small diner table.

Here in Canada at a local acrylic facbricator. Long time ago, like in 2007 it was around $320 CAD, now I have heard that 5-6mm thickness in a cover like this would run around $1000 USA.

Does anyone know what the power source is for this model? I lost the base to mine, and I need to replace the plug so I can light it up again. All I know it's 120 Volts AC powered through the base with a "phono plug" that attaches from the bottom of the model. Is it a transformer plug? What is the actual voltage for the model itself from AC to DC? Does anyone out there know? Thank you.

Hello there, I just checked mine and it says on the sticker at the back of the adapter; Switch-Mode, Power Supply. Model; 3A - 161WP09, INPUT; 100-240V~, 50-60Hz, 0.6A. OUTPUT; 9V-1.7A, FOR I.T.E USE ONLY. This is all that is indicated on the sticker. Hope it helps! May the force be with you.

Also there is a drawing that might be indicating the polarity, it’s a negative symbol to the left (-) and then comes the drawing; a circle, and a positive symbol to the right (+).

The paint work and weathering on this is amongst the worst I've ever seen. There are plenty of armature jobs on here that make this look like it's been done by a 5 year old. I've know people who have purchased one of these and completely re-do the paint work. It's very surprising that this so called Holly grail of falcons has been let down on the finishing considering the detailing of the actual model. I for one would never buy one of these even with a Harrison Ford signature.

Yes I have heard of a few that had a re-paint job done. Any of these mass production replicas could use a museum quality paint job if we get picky and demanding. I agree. But however that is hard to do when you are producing 1500 units. Also when the price is around 2k or less which is what this was going for when new. Despite the not so perfect paint job, these still go for many K more in the second hand market, than what they used to sell when new.
