Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Evasive Action Battle Pack Review and Comparison 

I think this is their first foray into the flight stands to see how they work and how they will sell. Hopefully in the future we get more of these. If I had two request it would be to have the arms click into the base and the allow the arms to spin once in the base. However, with that said I totally understand why they made it the way that they did. Still really cool and makes me hopeful for the future!

@@kmtanner04 I have been a lifetime fan of Star Wars. I grew up with the original movies, so I'm more interested in the original trilogy. I'm wondering if the Millennium Falcon will be the largest ship of the line? Or could they make a larger scale? I wonder what an ATAT Walker would look like? Or the Corrilian Corvette? There are so many larger vehicles I wonder if they would make them?

@@matthewbendet4921 we have asked the Brand Manager a few times about larger ships and I know they are looking into them but I don’t know what that looks like. That said the assault class (Falcon size) does have room to make ships bigger. Because these ships are not scaled exactly some of the scales are being cheated some (Wave 2 Gauntlet) which does give me a lot more hope that we will see larger ships that chest the scale more. I agree I am hoping we will see some of the older ships in the new waves that are coming!

Unfortunately these stands only work with the xwing and standard tie fighter. Last we heard it’s not going to be until 2025 until they even consider doing universal flight stands. Guess we will have to make do with custom ones and/or the action figure stands you can get on Amazon.

No the tie interceptor is unfortunately a little too big.

This line will be spread across multiple retails and is definitely frustrating not knowing where it will be or when. Most of the major retailers Walmart, Target and Amazon will have some of the line but maybe not the whole line. The exclusives present another challenge there is a Galaxy’s Edge Falcon which is only available there. Kind of a bummer for us that don’t live in CA but hey let’s hope that as this line continues to grow they will be more readily available to all of us. Sorry to hear about your issues and I hope you can find them easier! The advantage is these have been selling through. Most of the targets around me put out a new stock and they are sold through in about a week or two. With more sell through that means later waves will get more on the market. We will see!

@@kmtanner04 True but very frustrating when Macys has the Marauder and is selling it for a ridiculous mark up. It’s not an exclusive that I’m aware of but they seem to be the only ones with it. If Jazzwares wants this line to continue they really need to look at how they distribute it.

@@thearikes from what I have heard there have been some challenges with distribution on series 2 due to COVID shut downs in China. Canada had the Marauder a few weeks before it showed up at Macys. This will be a Target exclusive for sure and should be hitting shelves soon. As for the distribution schedule I think part of the reason we are seeing it this way is because the retailers are having a difficult time getting stock on the floor. But that is just a guess. Again, I am hopeful.

Agreed. We have asked a number of times and in all the interviews there are no real plans for stands. It would end up increase the cost of the items and they are ultimately looking to decrease the cost. There are some great options on Etsy and Amazon for stands that work really well for these.

@@kmtanner04 Damn shame, too. I imagine with a little creativity they could just as easily perforate the cardboard on the back of the box for rip-fold,and-build stand. No added materials and the process would only add pennies to manufacturing per unit... Doesn't have to be fancy just elevate the thing off the ground, ya know? Alas, like many other things for toys, nowadays, even the stands are left to our imagination.

@@CalledTurnAGundam agreed. They did mention that they have some ideas for stands that would be interchangeable but it wouldn’t be till 2025 at the series that they would offer something, if they ever do.

@@kmtanner04 Makes sense considering the nightmare of manufacturing literally anything the last 3 years. Any changes or adjustments will have to be a few years out. I'll give Jazzwares credit though, I can nitpick about scale and lack of shelf friendliness but hey, they're making an actual toy line, that can actually be played with, they have ships that are at once also location sets, that's freaking cool. Now to convince them to release ship-free character sets and stormtrooper boosters so I'm not having to hunt through blind bags for a threepeo and dropping 50 for a fistful of bucketheads lmao

@@CalledTurnAGundam haha. I get that also. Again, unfortunately, they have said many times this is a vehicle first line and will not do figure packs. I agree with you, I think they would sell fine since the ships are designed to hold so many.
