1:30 This scene made me stop for a couple of minutes to admire the indirect lighting inside the bar. Incredibly impressive, at least on PC and highest ray tracing settings and RTXDI. Jedi Survivor does a good job (at least when using ray tracing - UE4's screen space reflections are absolutely awful), but particularly indirectly lit scenes look a bit flat, and the whole lighting feels noticeably less natural. The most impressive thing however is how much better Outlaws runs in comparison to Jedi Survivor. I can easily reach perfectly fluid 120 fps on my Ryzen 5900X with the help of DLSS, whereas Jedi Survivor is constantly CPU limited, and _always_ feels choppy, even with the new patch. Also DLSS 3 Frame Generation _still_ is completely broken in Jedi Survivor, and creates extremely wild ghosting due to the lack of proper motion vectors on many elements on the screen, including HUD and the player character. The official implementation actually looks _worse_ than PureDark's Frame Generation mod, which is absolutely ridiculous. Come on EA, what the fuck?
You can't tell me they made her hideous because they don't know how to model a face. THE DUDE LOOKS JUST LIKE THE ACTOR. And they did a GREAT job with Debra Wilson. Down with this D.E.I. B.S.
I wouldn’t touch Star Wars Outlaws, even if it were free. The mechanics and gameplay look like a bad version of Far Cry with a Star Wars mod. I’ve got plenty of great games lined up, but I’m definitely excited for the next Star Wars game from Respawn Entertainment.
Outlaws feels absolutely nothing like Far Cry. Honestly it plays more like Survivor meets Watchdogs. Has a poor first impression but once it opens up it is pretty solid game. I actually appreciated the focus on stealth at times as you can quickly be gunned down by the empire, as we don’t get many stealth games these days. I ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would. I also play a wide variety of games and most new releases though. Outlaws was a decent palette cleanser betweeb Wukong and the upcoming Space Marine 2. While I think Ubisoft management sucks, I do think Ubisoft games are overhated. They’re the junk food or popcorn flicks of gaming. They don’t win awards anymore but they’re still an entertaining ride. However, I totally get it. And if someone only plays a game here and there, there are better games to choose for sure.
@@mandrews6282 OK, but I still don't like that game, nor the design, the combat dynamics, or the story. That's why I haven't bought anything from Ubisoft in years. They should take note of what Game Science did; for a new studio, they did a spectacular job. And if you like that Star Wars game, good for you. As for me, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.
You're comparing a trailer to recorded gameplay. The trailer is naturally going to be less sharp or clear than the recorded gameplay. Contrast the gameplay when Outlaws releases, for a more accurate comparison. And record both, yourself. Using external sources which may be recorded at different quality/bitrates immediately invalidates any comparison.
@@dwiinelprotonautaderadioma9480 Which changes nothing I said. If you're going to do a comparison, then the recorded sources should be equivalent. Having the game come out and later prove to be inferior, doesn't mean the previous comparison was valid.
