In the Vader vs Ezra and Kanan duel, we really see how powerful Vader is compared to regular Jedi (or Sith, i guess?). He was barely even trying, easily thwarting Kanan and Ezra and making them look downright sluggish. It gives us clarity on how he massacred the Jedi Temple, and this is after he got burned and limbs chopped off.

The 2 best duels are with clone Wars characters

We really needed a new inquisitor in season 4. Or Vader.

1:00 pretty sure that’s the only time they ever explicitly showed someone getting impaled by a lightsaber in Rebels

I'd say 1) Vader vs Ahsoka 2) Maul vs the Inquisitors (When he kills them) 3) Maul vs the Inquisitors (1st time) 4) Ahsoka vs the Inquisitors (1st time) 5) Sabine vs Gar Saxon Number 5 is really cool because we see two non force sensitives using lightsabers and moving based off of pure instinct and fighting knowledge rather than with the precognition of the Force.

What i love about this show its that it respects its past unlike ehem... sequel era Like sabine at first i was like how is a theater kid a mandalorian but when her ark came it explained why she was who she was and tho she is not as good as her ancestors she still cool and it makes sence too Ezra and kenan you can clearly see they dont compare to ashoka and vader or maul unlike ehem... rey

the one thing about rebels that bothered me the most is everybodies lightsabers were way too thin, , close ups just didnt have as much substance for me without the normal sized saber blades, idk why, it was fine in movement but i just couldnt get past that for some reason? ^^:

I love the effects of the red light sabers in certain scenes of the show. Kinda gives off a little dark side vibe.

1:25 Kanan had a clear shot at ending the fight via striking the Grand Inquisitor anywhere on his body. But he chooses to back away and let the fight continue.

I like how we can see the development of Ezra and Kanan's lightsaber prowess. At first, Kanan was still struggling to even keep up with the Grand Inquisitor, and slowly improves that by the finale, he manages to defeat him. Ezra was almost dead weight during that same fight, but by mid-second season, they both have improved enough that they can easily match the inquisitors, and Kanan losing his eyesight let him tap into the Force even more, even managing to best best Maul in a fight.

Hey, I just noticed the grand inquisitor uses form 2!! That makes total sense that he would be trained in form 2!! Gotta love Filoni

I like how pretty much every fight is chopped up except Maul and Kenobi

Its funny that after season 2, we see Sabine have more lightsaber duels than Ezra or Kannan.

I LOVE the thin blades, I feel like it makes the blade of the saber more condensed and powerful.

Lightsabers are more like glowing baseball bats in this show. Kanan still has a head and an arm.

They kinda wasted sabines dark saber training. Considering she just gave it to Bo katan. That said, i am team ezrabine. So the ending of the show worked for me.

Kanan is a beast. As someone who never watched rebels I don't understand the Ezra hype. All his duels seem mid. Though I will say he is definitely skilled

Man only when you see 2 non force users lightsaber can you really see that without the jedi use the force during the battle even if only striking

I always hated the lightsaber fights in Rebels. The sabers are so damn skinny and the characters move so janky. The entire animation of them swinging the saber is like two frames and then they pause every time the sabers collide, even if one character is in midair. It just looks awful.

Rebels fights are not good, and the lightsabers being skinny noodles doesn’t make it better, it’s so disappointing, the lightsaber sounds just didn’t feel right with the way the sabers looked at all
