I just went 2 days ago, and i have to say i loved this ride. So realistic, visuals are amazing. The cast really were rude, sticking to their role, i loved it. One of them said oh you bring children to your mission, how desperate, it rained, and most of us had ponchos and they said you brought trash bags, this is not cleaning day. Some people werent following directions and standing on their color, and the lady said stand on red its not that hard. 😂😅😂 best ride ever, its an amazing experience 100% recommend it specially at night.
hehe I had a similar experience a few days ago! I went with my sibling, my mom, and our foreign exchange student from Germany. In line, me, my sister, and the student agreed it would be hilarious if we just. Spoke in diffrent languages to the cast members if we were spoken to (this was our first time on the ride). I was to speak Japanese or ASL, my sister chose French, and the student, of course, chose German. We were told to stand on red and the student (who is mostly fluent in English btw) was standing *next to* the red circle at the end and the cast asked "What color are you?" to him and he responded "Red (in german)". The Cast member was stunned for a moment and asked again to get the same answer before saying "That's black, not red" when he realized we were all trying to stifle laughter. They were so good at keeping in character it was an amazing experience!
Just went on this yesterday. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but man, the Imagineers successfully tapped into the emotional journey this ride is capable of taking anyone one. From the moment you get in line you truly feel like you're a part of something bigger than life. I haven't felt that way on ride since I first rode Hollywood Tower of Terror at Disneyland. It was my favorite ride. I never thought the Imagineers could redeem themselves after they transformed Tower of Terror into that horrible Guardians ride, but Rise of the Resistance proved me wrong. Hands down it's a masterpiece for its time.
I completely agree with this statement. I was so worried at first when I heard about this then it happened and thought “oh that was nothing!” Plus the immersion you feel and being in this intense moment makes this all the better.
*Got to love that Drop!* 🤣 Reals, I heard there was a drop that's part of the ride. I'm like; "We just went up. We got to come down some way, some how" Lol.
Literally the best ride at Disneyland, definitely one of my favs, I legit went on it twice, and the first time I went on it I couldn't believe the ride i had just been on, like I was shocked coming off of that ride. If you go to Disneyland you should def get a lighting lane pass for this ride.
AHHH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was at Disneyland for 3 days a few days ago! I only got to ride this ride once on my first day, was at California adventures the next day, and the last day when I went to ride it again it closed early! I was so sad I missed out on riding it again, I'm so happy it's documented somewhere so I can see it again!!
First time going on this ride , never seen Star Wars & I WAS BLOWN AWAY. HANDS DOWN INCREDIBLE RIDE. ENTIRE TIME I WAS ON EDGE. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK.
11/10 .... This isn't just a "ride" this is a full blown experience. I've never felt like I was more "there" in anything ever before. You feel as though you are IN the movies / shows. I'm not a Star Wars aficionado of any kind but still found this to be an absolutely stunning masterpiece. Disney imagineers brought a huge smile to a middle aged man's face. Thank you.
I went there recently and I found it an amazing experience. I was with a guest who wasn't tall enough to ride, and we had already paid Lightning Lane for them, so I got to go twice through Lightning Lane. It was a really great experience, and it felt so realistic. One of my top rides.
We were lucky enough to experience it in both the daytime and at night; I love how the video of the blastoff from Batuu takes the time of day into account and uses the appropriate day/night video! 😊 We also got the alternative ending (used when the final Kylo Ren animatronic is not working), where Kylo Ren shows up in his Tie Silencer and threatens us until he is damaged (much like Darth Vader's ship in A New Hope), allowing the transport to escape to the drop ship. The best, most immersive ride we've ever experienced.
I fell in love with this ride at Disney World. It's a little different there than at Disneyland. I went to Disneyland recently. I rode this ride 4 times! So much fun! ❤
Right now I am going on this exact ride so this will be helpful because I have a heart disease so I was just checking if there was any drops or something
It’s maybe 15 feet straight down like tower of terror. You get the dropping feeling for a split second but if you know it’s coming then it’ll be fine. You’ll love it
I was terrified of the drop too! I hadn't watched the video of the ride so I had no idea when it was coming. I don't do well with straight drops, I hate splash mountain, have never done tower of terror. This was totally doable and really added to the whole experience. Just gave me the butterflies for a second or two, it was so fun.
do you know if they can enter? I bought already the 😢 tickets for his 7 birthday cuz is his favorite movie. I wonder if he and brother 5 yo can ride. greetings from Mexico.
This ride is one of the best things that came from the Sequel Trilogy unlike the Transformers ride being the only good thing to come from the Bay movies
one of the best rides, when i first went on it we were standing in like for like two hours and it was late at night. me and my family thought the area where u r transported was the ride at first lolll. it was a pleasant surprise and was one of the best nights
