Even if you don't like Sequels, Emperor Palpatine wanting to clone himself to preserve his life is very in character of him, and this explanation is fantastic
It's commendable for the writers that they're willing to use their show to clean up the mess created by the Prequel trilogy. No one would have complained if they just told their own interesting story, but this shows that the writers care about more than just themselves.
@@noahlonaker2668 Disney doesn't understand the IP they own, the best option for the Mouse is to shut up and let the original Lucasfilm members handle Star Wars entirely minus Kathleen because she can't keep silly politics out of Star Wars.
@@noahlonaker2668 palpatine returning in anyway is bad period they should have done a fresh story but nope now all the star wars shows are made to make palpatine return seem planned out
@@username.exenotfound2943 *Kun Tleen Kennedy:* JJ just make Palps return somehow for TROS. We'll make Filoni clean up our mess for us as usual. That's what the TV shows are for 👹💰💰
I just still love that the brought back Tantiss from Heir to the Empire and made it such a prominent location for the show and that regardless of which Star Wars continuity it’s key to the Empire’s cloning shenanigans 🙂
What’s crazy about Sidious is even after he made the empire this dude always kept plans after Plans after plans from everyone even from most of the empire.
Well they messed him up in rise of skywalker. A girl who had only known what the force was for a year manages to defeat the most powerful Sith Lord the galaxy had ever seen like it was nothing.
I wished we get to see the THETA Class Shuttle instead from ROTS instead of the old Republic attack shuttle model but oh well, the scene still delivers
This season has been great, the writing, music, and overall animation quality was Insane. I had to pause a few times on episode 1 with the transport flying in the storm just to admire the work, it almost looked like a blender render and not animated.
what i love about this, is to anyone else he simply looks like a frail old man, but those bodyguards are really just for show, Sidious could wipe out that entire landing pad if he wanted
as a writer/creative its basically just a challenge to connect these two timelines in a way that makes sense. its kinda fun and theyre doing a good job. my guess is omega will be force sensitve and thats how sidious will achieve immortality some way or another lol
@@AnakinSkywalker-qe2rk I think ep1 was important for the plot and to show what's going on with Omega, but for me it felt like the same scene over and over. Ep2 wasn't that important bc we know Hunter and Wrecker are searching for Omega, but it wasn't very bad.
Amazing stuff! Honestly, thank you Star Wars for this amazing content and striking visuals. Honestly enjoyed the first 3 episodes so much. Love the tension in this new season and all the attention to detail too. More, more! Love this!
You know, if they spent time during the movies to slowly build up Palps return instead of "Somehow he has returned", then I doubt not as many people would hate the idea of it since its already been done in Legends.
Snoke should have been Palpatine's "son" and was tasked with enabling his return. For example, using the horror and anguish of those who died on that planet Starkiller blew up to fuel his Dark Side connection and bring Palpatine's spirit back from the world of madness.
If Project Necromancy is what I think it is, The genius in Jennifer Corbett and Dave Feloni somehow made the Rise of Skywalker film make sense. Edit: Jennifer Corbett
