I really like how Hunter is respectful of Rex and how he is as a leader. Also Jesse saying "You can't talk to Captain Rex like that." was a good moment.
I love how episode 7x1 uses the clone's leitmotif to convey Rex's mental headspace. In the begining it comes off as incredibly somber and almost depressed. But after Rex realizes Echo's alive the leitmotif returns more truimphantly.
Dee Bradley Baker is my favorite voice actor. Not only does he voice every clone and the bad batch, but also the spider general, and I think the creatures too.
It feels like Anakin has found a certain balance in his life, between the war and his marriage, he feels more mature and more calm, he put Rex in the confidence, he's still probably full of doubts but he's at a great place at the moment, and the scene with Padme is really good (also we can see that she's pregnant :0) , it feels just like the beginning of Revenge of the Sith, we're so close
Bad Batch is CW season 8 in a sense. You definitely need to watch it. These episodes are back door pilots, but BB is so much more than just following this crew. While BB is chronologically before Kenobi, there’s nothing in it preventing you from watching Kenobi first. You’ve been waiting long enough 😜
Clone Squad 99 made me cry, I'm not going to lie about it, like a baby. 99 was just as much a Clone as any of them and I'm glad the Clones honored him. Wrecker's gotta be treated like a kid, but he's the muscle and an important part of team. Echo's alive!!!! A Domino still stands!!!
Wrecker is like a kindergarden child in the body of an oversized clone, I love him😆. I do love Rex much more though. I'm 100% sure you're going to love The Bad Batch, there are some huge surprises going on in that show.
Going forward, I would recommend watching Rebels, before diving into Bad Batch, it flows better with the tie ins, since Rebels was obviously released first, and we are anxiously waiting for Bad Batch season 2!
I’ve watched Bad Batch and I never watch this so yeah they tone down their “Muchness” if I watched this first I’d probably be hesitant to watch the series but I loved the first season of The Bad Batch.
yea, I watched this before bad batch, and I was seriously consodering if I wanted to sit through an entire season of this Wrecker, I gave it a shot, and he grew on me a lot once he was toned down a bit
The thing you said about their peace not lasting long, made me think of The Husbands of River Sing: "Happy Ever After doesn't mean forever, it just means time, little time"
I know you said, it depends on the viewership of Bad Batch if you are going to react ot it or not and i understand, i just really hope everything works out and we get a reaction series to that, especially since how Clone focused the Bad Batch is. It's basically a sequel to the Clone Wars.
Id like to point out that in universe they thought Echo was dead for somewhere between 1 and a half to 2 years. Also 22:55 the reason is simple fans liked them and Disney is greedy so they got their own show and its pretty good
I don't know if it's accurate to say that Wrecker mellows in his own show, but I will definitely say that he's a little more nuanced than you see here.
Rebels is more important to watch. Bad Batch is just a nice little add on and sequel to TCW, but Rebels is necessary to watch going forward with everything Star Wars (particularly Ahsoka and The Mandalorian).
I was laughing my ass off watching you react to Wrecker. It's been a long week, I'm exhausted. But thanks to you I'm feeling so much better. Great reaction as always. Keep 'em coming! \m/
Man! First, finishing The Walking Dead, and now finishing The Clone Wars. It’s sad to see both shows come to an end. But it’s also a happy thing that we all got to experience two of the best shows to ever watch.
This isn't a spoiler, but the show The Bad Batch picks up where The Clone Wars series ends, and yes, it's focus is Clone Force 99. That's all I'll tell you, aside from the show is really good, and I think you'll enjoy it.
Bad Batch is the sequel series to The Clone Wars. The first episode takes place during the last half hour of Revenge of the Sith and the rest of the show focuses on the bad batch's role in an infant empire alongside the rest of the Clone army now that the war is over. It's animated in TCW season 7 style and the characters are more nuanced in it than they are here. Though there is a decent bit of filler, I will say. It's all entertaining, at any rate. Oh and also there are many characters from Clone Wars and Rebels and the movies who show up in it from episode to episode ;)
@@sesskasays I know you'll make the choice by yourself, but it doesn't hurt me to hope you'll go for Rebels, lol, can't wait for you to meet the family and a very special droid 😉
@@msoundgFuck yeah! C1-10P is absolutely the best droid. Obviously her channel her choice but holy cow i hope she watches both Bad Batch and mainly Rebels. It’s glorious.
Oh. One more bit of information you should probably have, although you've probably already been informed of this, there's the newly released Tales of the Jedi show which has six very short episodes totaling about 40 minutes. It actually works as a coda to clone wars and provides a stepping stone for some characters from Clone Wars to their next appearances.
If you like Mando with Grogu you'll love Bad Batch. Also id recommend Tales of the Jedi so good it fills in more prequels characters arcs w Dooku & Ahsoka.
Fun fact #1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hfEclSQ8Whg.html #2 Writer Matt Michnovetz was so obsessed with the Bad Batch that he would always try to find excuses to put them in episodes during story meetings even when it would make no sense, much to Dave Filoni's amusement. It actually got to the point where Filoni thought he was the writer of this arc when it was actually Brent Friedman, though Michnovetz wrote a follow up arc with the Batch on Kashyyyk and the two writers would work together to flesh out the characters. So naturally when The Bad Batch show was announced Filoni could not help a jab towards Matt, asking him if he's happy now.
This arc is definitely a sort of pilot for *The Bad Batch* with a very MCU way to do it, but it wasn't meant to be a show when they wrote it. It was almost completely ready to air back in 2014, the animation just had to be finished, but basically they modified a few scenes and changed the soundtrack by creating a full theme for them (and their own show) I think they could have put a more interesting cancelled arc in this season instead, but I really like it, and the Bad Batch show is great too, I guess it these episodes worked to sell the next show :)
I was super skeptical about the Bad Batch getting their own show as well but it will definitely be worth it once you get to it, I honestly didn't remember how annoying Wrecker was in this arc because he isn't really like that in their own show.
If you wanted to watch "The Bad Batch" you can watch it after Revenge of the Sith. There is a Rebels reference that you'll only get if you watch Rebels, and even then you have to watch for awhile, so it's not a spoiler. You can watch Konobi and Andor too as there is no spoiler overlap. Even if you started watching Rebels at the same time you'd be finished with those shows and of the good surprises start to pop up.
I promise they manage to find a better balance with TBB chemistry and I think you'll enjoy it if you decide to watch it. I kinda recommend that you watch Rebels first. I know it takes place much farther forward in the timeline, but I think that you will get a bit more out of some parts if you have watched Rebels first. But I get if you want to keep going in chrono.
Echo is my favorite clone after Rex and Boba so I was happy when he made a return While Delta is my favorite squad of Clone commandos, the Bad Batch have grown on me and I can’t wait to see how their story progresses moving forward
I kinda hope Sessk watches the first episode of the last arc first, even if she uploads it after she watches the movie with the second episode of the arc. Also a little bummed she didn't notice Padme holding her tum-tum in that hologram.
Wrecker indeed is a lot, and also in The Bad Batch show, you discover he's much more than that. Big DUDE, Big _____! , no! Not THAT word! It starts with an H.
Always love your reactions !😁 Sorry but I can't find your reaction to episodes 7x03 and 7x04, is it gonna be reuploaded soon ? 😅 Thanks and keep going ! 🤗
I love your reactions, and if your thing is clone centered stories with heart, please please please watch the bad batch season 1. Its after order 66, and it’ll pull your heart strings. Even if you dont do reaction videos, just watch season 1 before season 2 comes out!
Everyone can really read Anakin, see right through him ... everything except the one important thing that everyone really could do with knowing!! The show might be called the Bad Batch, but they are very much playing second fiddle to the main character.
I'll only say (once more) once you finish Clone Wars, you should start Bad Batch! I don't want to spoil... but based on some things you said here about Clone Wars, I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy it.
I didn’t like the guys in the Bad Batch all that much originally but they grow on you and they’re awesome. I didn’t really like Wrecker too much either. He just seemed way too over the top. But I came across a forum discussing how the clones are essentially an army of slave child soldiers - yes accelerated aging and all that will accelerate their minds to an extent as well, but they are still human - and Wrecker is one of the few clones actually acting his age. An 8 year old soldier that likes things to go boom. That felt like a bucket of ice got thrown at me because yeah, that gives a whole new perspective on him. Ugh, I was a mess when Echo was found. Still messes me up. Help
To start with, The Bad Batch is a solid show despite this not being the best intro to the characters. You learn to love them - even Wrecker! Actually, he's a real sweetie. Is it as good as Rebels though? No, not at all. But then, Rebels sets a really high bar and covers everything from the Jedi and Mandalorians to the Clones and the Andor-period formation of the Rebel Alliance, and with great characters to boot. So if it's a choice, Rebels all the way. All of that being said, The Bad Batch is still worth a watch and the overall arc for the first season delves in to the Imperial cloning program and what happened to it. It also continues Echo's story. Hope that helps.
Hi Sesska thease 2 episodes are only half of the first story ark, of the 3 story arks in S7. the 3rd Ark is the one that happens during Revenge of the Sith, it basicly explanes why some show characters survive Order 66 while also not being draged into the film.
The Bad Batch are a bit over the top in their introduction and their characters aren't refined yet. They're fun here, but they don't really come into their own until their own show where they really shine as more than one note characters. The Bad Batch show is straight up a continuation of the story of the clones post Order 66 with Clone Force 99 as the main characters. You like clone-centric stories? It doesn't get any better than this and as a person who likes the clones more than anything else in Star Wars, the Bad Batch is presently my favorite show. I think you'd like it a lot. Finally, I'd like to say this about Wrecker. His character is very over the top here...I'd say he's unfinished compared to how he is in Bad Batch, but the refinements to his character from this to that made him go from many people's least favorite to most favorite Batcher and for good reason. There are other good reasons to watch but those would be spoilers.
Sesska if you love clones then I would make a very strong suggestion for you, forget watching ROTS for a reaction. I would strongly suggest you finish out this season of TCW for your reviews. Have you watched Tales of the Jedi? The Bad Batch s2 is suppose to air on Jan.4 and you will love it but beige watch s1 of TBB on your personal time with out doing any reviews not enough time but there are like 8+ special surprises and legacy characters in that first season of TBB, btw, they have added another clone to the BB team.
I totally understand you’ll have to upload Revenge of the Sith later vis à vis your patreons, but at least when the time comes please post the 2 parts almost simultaneously on youtube :)
Oh, if you've reacted to the entire Clone Wars animated series, you have to react to The Bad Batch. It's the logical progressions of the story and develops a lot of story lines going forward.
Problem is, it’s still ongoing, which could make jumping into Rebels afterwards a bit jarring. Rebels will also be important for the upcoming Ahsoka series, so it should probably be made a priority
@@EditedAF987 Yep, we were speakign about it on Jess's Patreon, and I suggested a watchlist - if she is to continue with the animations - of : Kenobi -> Tales Of The Jedi -> Rebels -> Bad Batch. Chronologically all that is a bit out, but it doesn't matter too much about that and the emotion hits all the more with that sequence I feel.
I actually didn't like the Bad Batch when they got introduced, but they do a good job in their own show and their characters are a lot more likeable when they aren't at odds with Rex and the other clones
