Yeah they didn't take their eyes off Fives until AZ mentioned that, and when they look back to him, they do it a bit more slowly, as if for a split second they know exactly what he's about to do. I can't help but wonder if they were glad he got away.
4v1 actually. He thrusted the Kaminoan into 2 clones, and he can be seen sitting on top of one during the fight, the other one on the left manages to stand up and is the last one Fives knocks out.
@nirjhar4803 Not exactly. Clones are often regarded as much better than most soldiers the Galaxy has ever seen. They're the finest troops the Republic has fielded, so really it's just the fact that Fives has been made an ARC Trooper and was given special training for it.
Well, they are a race who goes for perfection, they don't have actual personalities and they even terminate the ones they found imperfect, same thing they do to the clones but was stopped due to Jedi intervention and so we got 99, Omega and the Bad Batch
@@holyshades6462 tup was the one who started this all. if he wouldn’t be alive, and had that tumor nobody woudlve know especially fives. fives only did this for tup to find out what is going on with him and understand him. So tup was needed and also a good soldier.
Is no one going to mention that Fives just knocked out Oddball? Or that Oddball called Fives 'sir' despite being a commander and thus Fives' superior officer?
I can't believe Shaak Ti and the Jedi would be okay with a trooper having his mind erased. They talk about the clones as individuals but treat them basically as slaves.
The Jedi, the Republic and the galactic empire treated them as nothing but born-to-be slaves. Even the Kaminoans, their literal parents (Aside from Jango Fett) The clones were innocent beings, nothing more than a serial number. Even due order 66, they had no choice but to kill their Jedi generals and padawans, they were forced to become slaves and humanized droids.
@@CardinalDoctor And how blind and corrupted the Jedi AND the politicians. Including Anakin being a slave to the Jedi. The fact that the Chancellor hinted at times that he would eventually destroy the Republic. Anakin and the Chancellor on Grievous' ship. "Kill him, Anakin" "Kill him now." "I shouldn't." And the fact that Anakin's Jedi mantra was to never eliminate an unarmed opponent, and the Chancellor, instead of bringing Dooku in, he killed him. And Palpatine also said "He cut off your arm and you wanted revenge." Revenge isn't the way of the Jedi.
@@anakinskinwalker1724 True. But by that time Anakin didn't care about the Jedi code. Sidious had spent 13 years pushing on pressure points in Anakin's psyche. Everything was orchestrated masterfully to put Anakin in his pocket. The Jedi Council helped by asking Anakin to spy on Palpatine. By that point, it was too late to stop the inevitable.
1:03 It really seemed like the Kaminoan using his birth digits was what pushed him over the edge. Even the medical droid had the courtesy to use his name, but these Kaminoans, the closest thing any clone has to a parent, think of him as little more than a serial code, a piece of defective machinery to be repaired - no better than a clanker. He was more than just a number. He was Fives.
My headcanon is that Fives picked the name Fives because he hated that the Kaminoians viewed them as less than human and taking what was meant to dehumanize him to give himself his own identity was the ultimate middle finger
@@M0nkey196fives was so close to exposing the truth , even maul and dooku told the Jedi the truth but the Jedi were so in denial about everything even though it was in front of them the whole time .
People are wondering how fives beat up so many clones. Well, being not only an ARC trooper, but a member of one of, if not the most elite legions of the republic comes with those perks
Well, they also probably didn't put their all into the fight, while Fives was pretty much fighting for his life. I wouldn't be surprised if the others were secretly kinda glad he got away after hearing what the Kaminoans were going to do to him.
@@brodyking7095 No i think they were. The group of 4 had backpacks and thicker armor compared to the rest of the clones. They are hard to make out and you only see them for a split second.
I love how he does that defies the Kaminoans by fighting back because they'll have taken his identity away and basically made him a slave with no mind or anything
@@sergioandrescontreras5251 a stun shot is a high voltage eletrical thing cappable of knocking out even a big jedi like krell, imagine what that would do to a small medical droid :v
Can you imagine how wholesome would that be in the Bad Batch if Clone Rebellion united with Separatist Droid holdouts in the first days of Rebel Alliance like this? Clones being impressed and find droids fun with their utility and silly programming and Droids being perplexed with Clone behaviors and impressed of their relatable soldiery
Think if only it was anakin yoda or ahsoka who investigated fives I feel that wouldve made much difference as they have a emotional relationship and trust each other
In the acces zone when fives enters with AZI, there are only 1 Kamino Guard but with his commander, Fives can defeat two of them easily but he will be discovered by Shaak Ti
Fives deserves his own spin off. Set between “Carnage of Krell” and “The Unknown”. In my version of the story, Fives is still recovering from the Battle of Umbara and is being briefed on the next which he is more than ready to fight in. After the briefing, Rex talks to him about Echo (whom we all know was revealed to be alive) and Fives couldn’t help, but feel like it should’ve been him that had been killed at the Citadel on Lola Sayu rather his close friend as well mention Hevy, Cutup and Droidbait back in their years as Cadets. After that emotional talk, the 501st was deployed on a planet where they fought the CIS in a messy and rough situation. During the battle, Fives got separated from his unit and eventually was found by Slavers who attempted to sell of him as his gear to potential buyers. It was from there Fives managed to escape, but the ship crashed on a remote planet where Fives was stranded and was forced to find any trace of civilization. Eventually he found a remote village and went there in hopes of finding a ship. Eventually he came a cross a young woman and asked what he was doing here with Fives telling him that he got separated from his unit and was stranded. Noticing his desperation, she agreed to help him, so she took him to her ship and crew where they intended to help him get back to the Republic. The basics of the story will delve into Fives finding his place in the galaxy as well wondering what he is going to once the war is over or if actually wants to stay with the crew. Eventually he falls in love with the girl he met and by the end of story, Fives returns to the 501st after saying goodbye to the woman who helped him get back. The story would end on a bitter note with Fives being buried after his death in “Orders”, it was there we the girl he met, now pregnant with his child grieving over him and lashing out at Commander Fox for killing him. It was there the woman tearfully went to Fives’ coffin, promising him to look after their son now that he’s gone.
This arc in a nutshell A Navy seal discovers the untold truth about the U.S during the Vietnam War and investigates eventually becoming a fugitive after trying to kill the president (who tried to frame him) and tried to tell a military general and captain but sadly was shot dead by an MP commander
Kaminoans: yes, let’s just send him to be a sanitation worker but only have two rank and file troopers guard him Fives: *kicks the shit out of everyone coz they all forgot he was a FUCKING ARC TROOPER*
ah hell, thats kamino aint it....which means he was willing to risk being eaten by the various sea monsters that live in the oceans, like the saberjowl we saw in the bad batch - after all, somthings gotta eat those fish he startled when he jumped in
@@niedless6826 yes but if a trooper like fives, hardcase, jesse, or Rex were in the same situation they would’ve knew the orders were wrong, and would’ve stunned him.
@@ContentGiraffe He was most likely told that Fives is extremely dangerous ("He tried to assasinate the chancelor") and yeah, Fox also seems to be a bit more dogmatic than the clones we know.
Coruscant guards are designed to follow orders without question, especially from the Chancellor, and Palpatine probably told him to kill Fives, so all that builds up to Fives’ death.
fives was never infected with chip it was just tup they lied to infront of captain run test on fives they mentioned about erasing his memory and to killed him
Probably just used as a stand in before they re-textured him to look like the greenish one in his place you see after. The same thing can be seen in the bad batch when they’re on Correlia but this time it’s with Ahsokas droid
How the tell fives was the only clone to know order 66 and chips god damn if they didnt listen what fives told them now the republic fallen in the hands of a sith lord
SPOILER ALERT FOR THE BAD BATCH He got his mind wiped and was still on Kamino, though there’s a good chance he may have been killed when that shock trooper found him and Omega in the room of the Bad Batch, even though the trooper stunned him
I really love the clone pilot suit episode 3 with the open helmet, unfortunately it was the only time it appears here, it would be cool to see the V-wing in Bad batch pilot
