Phantom menace: +2 legs Attack of the clones: +1 hand, +1 Acklay hand/claw The Clone Wars: +1 arm +1 plant head thing Revenge of the Sith: +2 legs, +1 arm, +2 cybernetic hands A new hope: +1 arm This is pretty much just a dismemberment compilation, tell me if I missed anything though
Darth Kenobi physically he was not stronger then savage maul maybe but not savage. As for force power hard to really say but together maul and savages force abilities are definitley stronger then obi wan alone.
+Darth Kenobi He's not stronger than both of them. They suck at fighting as a team and he only fights one at a time for a solid bit. At 2:38, he would have been finshed but he spent the entire fight targeting Savage's knee, and uses the weakness he made to take the upper hand. Kenobi's strength in his fights has always been being able too patiently create weaknesses and then exploit them when necessary. You see it all the time with his emphasis on ambushes and trickery.
@@heartofvirginia4877 Maul isn't anywhere near as bad as some people. Yes, he has done some bad things. But most of the time he was being controlled/manipulated by Sidious or seeking revenge on one person, Obi-Wan.
"Look at them! How powerful can they be? They are running away from KENOBI!!" and "Insolence?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! We are pirates! We don't even know what that means!" are Hondo's best lines in his existence.
@glitchfox Hondo just done't resect me that much. It's nothing about my power, just his personality, he doesn't respect anyone. Maul and Savage are strong but I was ever stronger since I beat both of them.
@Joslyn Vazquez from what we've seen it's Jedi tradition to use your buddy's lightsaber along with your own when they fall in combat. Happens in Episode 2 during the Dooku duel, here, and Anakin vs Barriss (technically a fallen Jedi)
Yes! This fight does Obi Wan such justice. As THE master of soresu, according to Mace Windu, I easily peg him as one of the top 5 swordsmen in the Jedi Order of this era, along with Yoda, Mace, Anakin, and Dooku.
He was the first jedi to encounter and defeat a sith in over 1000 years. He actually fought 3 and defeated two of them. Maul and Vader. He also defeated Grievous who many jedi masters lost to. I think Kit Fisto was the only other one shown to actually just completely own Grievous. Kit Fisto didn't finish because Greivous used droids near the end and Fisto just needed to escape.
I agree. I think this was one of his only fights where he truly understood that he had no anakin or Ashoka with him, he had no clones or reinforcements with him, he had no other Jedi with him, and it was a live or die situation. He also realized that if he didn’t end it there, or at least try to, many more innocents would die at mauls hand. I feel as if the only other moment like that was when he was fighting Vader on mustafar. It was a live or die situation, and he was fighting FOR something as opposed to fighting a war against droids that the Jedi were essentially blind in.
Anyone else find it cute at how Maul seems to genuinely care about Savage? I mean any other Sith Lord would have abandoned his apprentice and left him for dead. But no. Maul stops fighting Kenobi to bring Savage out of the fight, losing the battle and a leg in the process.
@@jynxed66six54 But D.Sidious wasn't placed in any danger in doing so. Obi-wan was long gone by the time Sidious arrived and even if Obi-wan was still there, Sidious would have thrashed him. However if Anakin was useless or if there was a strong danger of saving Anakin, Sidious would have left him there without a single care in the world. Anakin should just be grateful that he had a use in the PR industry haha. When I refer to the scenario above, I meant to praise Maul's self-sacrifice and to highlight how he's not an entirely bad person despite his background.
@@jynxed66six54 Yes, but that wasn't in battle and didnt threaten his goals. If Anakin was hurt in front of Sidius and helping him would require Sidius to abandon his goal to save Anakin, he would definitely let him die. Especially if it wasn't the chosen one but just average force user. You could see that he abandoned Dooku the moment it wasnt convenient to keep him alive anymore. And Dooku was definitely more powerful and skilled than Savage and thus more valuable
That has got to be one of Obi-Wan's finest performances. What a battle, outwitting the two! Was that Maul screaming when one of his legs was shot off? It was a really weird sound.
Mother Talzin made the legs using magic, so unlike typical prosthetics Maul probably regained feeling down there. I kinda remember him screaming when she made them too, because he was regaining feeling. It’s also why there was green stuff coming out of the leg after it broke (savage had the same green stuff when his arm got cut off, and he was also magically enhanced)
Josh Heath - He briefly switched to his original combat style from The Phantom Menace, Ataru, which caught Maul and Savage off-guard. However, it is a very energy-intensive combat method, and he's not as good at it as his usual defensive style (Soresu). It wouldn't work for him in the long run, it just looks really cool and flashy.
Zachary Damascus Actually the Form is called Jar Kai, its a variation of Form 6 Niman, Which employs aspects of the other 6 forms (such as the force assisted Acrobatics of Ataru)
Jar'Kai is not a lightsaber form, it's simply a way of duel wielding lightsabers, to be able to use them in some lightsaber forms, very effective in Ataru, Shien and Shii-Cho.
In the actual novelization that kick bends Grevious's leg and doesn't hurt Obi-Wan. Idk why the movies seem to forget that it's not just a kick, it's a Force-enhanced kick.
True, but he survived far worst injuries after being cut from Team Sith a few seasons prior to this. His comeback to TCW's was "Impressive, Most Impressive". His Mentor would be Proud of his Resilience.
Somebody did a what if maul was a jedi. It was determined he likely would be on the council and quite potent in ability. Theory was he would have full teachings of the force to work with instead of here hate this.
Jedi can deny attachments all they want, but we all know they have them. Past interactions the various Jedi have (Aside from the obvious suspects) are generally really positive
Notice how blaster colors changes from red to blue when the traitors becomes "good"? Only gripe I have with this show is that they do this bunch of times so viewers can tell who's "good" and "bad". I think that much hand-holding is unnecessary. Oh well, it's still a great show.
mojave955 I think it's actually always been part of Star Wars that the baddies have red blaster shots, while the goodies have either blue or green. So this is just keeping the trend.
this is kenobi at his finest, proly the best lightsaber duel of the clones wars, savage, mual vs sidious is good but this is the best acrobatics and lightsaber forms you will ever see from a jedi
"You're mistaken" He knows they aren't a match for him. It almost seems like he's fighting to kill and fights so aggressive. How many Jedi and Masters fell to Anakin? Lenovo easily defeated him. Kenobi is my favorite Jedi for a reason. He's the true definition of everything a Jedi should be.
Yeah, people always underestimate my skill even though I have arguably the most impressive wins under my belt (Anakin, Grievous, and Maul multiple times). And most of these weren't even close, I definitively won them.
@@Obi-Wan_Kenobi Also you only fought Vader twice and you narrowly won the first time and Vader did kill you the second time. As for Grievous, yeah that's fair
@@hellothere4045 To be fair, he ambushed Obi-Wan in Raydonia in a two on one fight. So I wouldn't consider that being maul beating Obi-Wan. Also, Obi-Wan never lost to Maul in a fair fight.
This just shows why Kenobi is badass. It's not the power, he isn't that powerful of a force user. It's his mind, skill and experience. That's what allows him to fight enemies way stronger than himself and win.
@@OkIPullUp2915 maul killed innocent children why would he be so merciful to who's trying to kill him after Realizing that she's not going to join him?
Maul really matured here and showed his care. Before he would have left Savage and went after Kenobi, but here he stays behind to help Savage so they could both live.
Hondo has lived through all three eras, fought both Jedi and Sith and successfully held some as captives, and ruled his own empire during his prime. He is the true Chosen One.
Kenobi always plants his feet firmly and uses simple, low effort movement and waits for the opponent to leave an opening. It was so sick to see him start flipping around and made an opening out of Savage's leg.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” Meanwhile obi-wan kicking savage’s knee for the 10th time until it starts to hurt
04:08 I absolutely love this scene. Two brothers, both injured, combine their strength to one single warrior. Savage has the power. And maul the skill. They made such a good team.
Ok but how jaw-droppingly awesome is it that Hondo faced down two Sith (who are known to cast an aura of terror around them) and laughed in their faces, then proceeded to make them run away simply by firing at them?!?!
It`s interesting how Obi Wans fighting style is different to his usual technique. He is a master of Soresu, but against these two opponents, he would probably not have lasted long with that and I also think that form might not be that suitable for the use of 2 lightsabers. So he went for the acrobatic unpredictable Ataru form that he had in "Phantom Menace".
Love the little detail when Kenobi duel wields sabers he never loses either of them, but when Anakin does it one of the sabers always gets destroyed. IE his duel with Barris and his first duel with Dooku
I love how strong Obi becomes, when he feels emotional pain. He uses the power of his emotions without letting them take over his judgment. He does know the Force like only Luke did.
Ok, I know Maul and Savage are villains here, but they really are badass together. Maul even softens up to Savage sometimes, willing to stop going after Obi Wan to take his brother to safety, and then later on, Savage doing the same to him. Why do I love these two brothers? XD
Got to say that maul is very much power ful in his force abilities like he force pulled an entire ship, not that he is the only one in star wars to do so, but I think maul don't need light sabers, since he uses force very much aggressively.
maul conquered mandolor, killed jedi knights and masters, and defeated threatened jabba. Hondo forces him to retreat and denies him a victory. Why? Because Hondo is awesome !
This is one of Kenobi's best fights. He isn't stronger than Maul snd Savage, but he is smarter and more skillful. Maul and Savage fight with pure hatred and Kenobi fights with skill and the Force. If Anakin had been there, Maul snd Savage would have died then and there.
This is honestly a very good scene to show off Maul's major flaw, Savage aside, he can't really lead anyworth for shit, not for long anyway, his main method is fear and empty promises, whereas someone who has the nautral charisma and leadership skills needed for running a crew, like Hondo, can easily rip the feigned loyalty away from him, hell, in this entire fight, Hondo was the most dangerous person to fight just because of his charisma.
