Indeed. That's actually part of the reason why Palpatine wanted the clone production discontinued after cementing his rule. Cause not only was it pricey but also cause the fraying of the DNA which one of the side effects making the clones more robot like.
Clones were pricey and a single batch would take up to 2 and half years to develop even with accelerated aging and by the time they were ready the war was likely over already
King Katuunko was a savage. He roasted Dooku, fooled emisaries from the Confederacy and (tried to) cross blade with Opress while telling him ‘bitch please’. He died a true legend.
I love how Master Yoda is in such a playful mood, then he goes to kicking ass and taking names lol, He looks like a little kid frolicking in a candy store with a $50 dollar bill.
@@koolmckool7039 I mean at the end of the day Fox was a Clone Commander while yeah he did shoot Fives, but that's the thing also if you actually rewatch that scene you would see Fives grabbed one of Captain Rex's pistols. I mean I don't know about you but I wouldn't take that chance especially if the gun was pointed at my direction. So honestly Fox did what he had to do. I just think the hate Fox gets is pretty harsh.
4 alive beings > 0 alive beings :p (I'm not referring to the fact that the droids were destroyed, I'm referring to the fact that droids aren't technically alive)
@@supercomputer0448 you mean by the time of Empire Strikes Back? Because at this time he still lived at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant sharing a huge luxurious compound with thousands of other Jedi.
And the toll his body took. When those jedis were dying one by one and couldn’t do anything about it, of course it’s gonna make him weak, and he was already like centuries old.
This is why everyone hates yoda in Star Wars battlefront 2 he's so hard to hit because of how small he is and all he does is jump around the battlefield destroying everything in his path
This is one of the greatest lines in the show. "He's just sitting here. In front of our tanks!" It's not that the droid is just confused, he's even frustrated at Yoda, like he wants to lecture him.
”Have you three I do. Outnumbered are they. Know the time to help me you will.” This is direct proof as to why Yoda is the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. The wisest & most powerful.
I much prefer the way Yoda is animated here over how he was done in Ep. II. He's making practical movements and not just flipping around all over the place like a green blur
hes still jumping around, you fail to realise that he is not fighting a sith, he's fighting droids that stumble from being attacked at the knees. if he fought against a sith with a lightsaber he would have to jump around because a) if he just keeps attacking the legs the enemy can premeditate the attacks b) he needs to mix up his attacks and possibly place panic in his foes from being able to strike from any side. just like how grievous and the new sith from rebels twirl their sabers it invokes panic from the stance
kasF obviously you dont know that a Form IV specialist like Yoda... moves, jumps, flips around like a blur that non-force wielders could not see anything but the color of the lightsaber flashing and clashing about... in fact even a skilled Jedi can only see certain parries and could not keep up... thats why Count Dooku, who was a sith lord decided to retreat than continue fighting Yoda
I don’t think being a casual fan of the series is a bad thing. If anything, devoted fans can be a little too invested in every small nuance of the franchise to the point where it turns away newcomers to the series. I personally am a massive fan of the franchise, but that doesn’t mean my opinion on Yoda’s fighting is more valid than someone else’s. (For the record, I think that Yoda’s fighting style can be off putting at times, especially considering how old he’s supposed to be. So I understand where people are coming from when they say Yoda looks ridiculous when he flips around.)
yoda was the best Jedi in our era....his entro was devastating, the way he came down and looked up, then turned on the light sabre....amazing....clone wars is better than a lot of the movies
This same clone commander that fought alongside Yoda in this mission was under orders by Sidious to find Yoda after their fight ensued, days after Order 66. Its sad to see them fight alongside as brothers in arms and caring for their Jedi generals to then be ordered to execute them during the genocide.
Exactly. The Clones were genetically engineered and trained to follow orders from their superiors /with Palpatine being their ultimate superior/ AND they had those chips implanted in them that made him carry out Order 66. The Clones were just as much victims of Sidious as the Jedi were.
@@gabrieltejada1697 When Revenge of the Sith occurred, I was angry at the Clone Troopers and regarded them as soulless killing machines who callously killed the noble and caring Jedi but after watching "The Clone Wars", I realize that they were sentient beings with emotions, hopes and dreams like everyone else and who were generally good people victimized by the chips inside their brains thanks to Palpatine.
0:35 Yoda's meditation isn't to taunt the droid, (it does that too but its not the main reason). Meditation even minutes before a fight can help a lot since it lets Jedi gather force energy in preparation for battle. Qui gon Jin did the same when fighting Maul, taking a few seconds to meditate in order to gather his strength.
1:29 Funny line, but how can a Droid get promoted especially a Battle Droid? Every Battle Droid is programmed for specific purposes. So how could a regular infinity droid the same as all the rest get promoted to commander?
This is still one of my favourite episodes just because it was the first time where we saw a Jedi genuinely care about his clones and treat them like individuals (in this show anyway)
*1:27* *If these droids were programmed by a central computer instead of having free access. Then the separatist might have a shot at winning the clone wars* *But instead these two battle droids unsuccessfully try to escape a Jedi that was powerful enough to take the droids out on his own*
I love that Yoda just meditates right in the middle of the road and waits like it's no big deal. I get he's probably focusing his energy but it's still funny.
1:29 Please turn this into a meme. When your wife is pregnant after you've filled your bank account with thousands of dollars. But...I...just...got...promoted. When you lose your first place position in a tournament at the last second. But...I...just...got...promoted. When the buzzer goes off and the teacher tells you to put down your pencil as soon as you come up with the correct answer on the test. But...I...just...got...promoted. When you get a higher score but fail to beat the level. But...I...just...got...promoted.
It could be argued that Anakin at his full potential and Legends Luke Skywalker could stack up to Yoda in terms of power. Odann Ur lasted 1,000 years while Ood Bnar lasted from 5,000 BBY to 10 ABY. On the Dark Side, well the power scale is a bit different
