I got a hold of last years Star Wars The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon and decided to give it a custom weathered paint job. The Falcon was meant to look dirty. I decided to give this toy a review and also share some tips on how to weather your toys and customize them to look like they belong in the Star Wars Universe!

Just picked one up off ebay (the 2004 version with the full lights at the back) for $50. I had an OG one back in 79 as a kid so I kind of felt some nostalgia to randomly decide to pick it up lol. I wanted to weather it so it looks less toy like - That weathering makes it look great - even with it's proportions wrong it looks a lot like the movie prop. I'll be doing that so thanks for the easy weathering tutorial!

Hey dan o I really like your take on toys, because you have kids, so you'll actually play with these things!!! My kids and I have a great time with this thing although it does have its flaws... however I also really liked the hyperdrive function. Very cool and movie accurate. Great job!

Just scored one for our grandson of ov flea bay.... All intact all bits and Bob's..... He's 8 He will be made up...... I may have a go at "Weathering it" Good video man... It convinced me to purchase one.... And for £28....Well it's the price of a takeaway meal.... Happy day's.... 😂

Damn that's not bad at all, props to you man. Idk if you've ever heard of Cosplay Chris but he does stuff like this, but when weathering he uses shoe polish, so if you ever do another one again that could be a thing to look into.

Looks awesome, I’m doing something similar with the 1995 version, I had the 1980 as a kid ...it’s gone now 😩lol. I bet that some original action figures would fit perfectly in the cockpit. Thanks for the cool video 🇺🇸🤙🏻🅰️✝️

I gotta say I just picked on of these up today & I love it. 100% agree it was not worth the original retail price & I paid £13 + £10 delivery, so am well chuffed! Loving the paint job I'll def be doing that & by the way, Loving the channel!

Yeah the paint washed off just fine. But if you don’t want to get messy use a brush or a rag/paper towel. I just happen to not mind.

It looks cool the way you painted but I'm glad I didn't pay the $150 last year when I almost bought it. The nerf gun and the flipping up part just looks kinda silly in my opinion. By far the best millennium falcon toy is the one from the legacy toy line, definitely check thy one out

Definitely not worth $150 but maybe now that it's painted I might be able to turn it around for $100 or slightly more. I have no actual plans to sell it but making these customs has really got me thinkin...

Totally see your point about the nerf play feature. I try to hate very little, but my son and I really didn’t like this. But, and this is a huge but, we have the legacy falcon, so I totally would have gotten this over any of the other older ones. Great video, especially the customization aspect

Dan O love your Rebels =Rebellion = Resistance gray shirt wow for all those years the Original Millium Falcon was a little better because it was bigger. Iss the acrylic paint watered down to a thinner consistency. And is it a model grade acrylic paint from tamiya or local craft shop? Thanks for sharing.

If anyone is watching the comments on this, I managed to snag one at .99 cent store for 20 bucks on closeout. I don't know if its a regular thing that they are there but the .99 cent store by me had like 4 of them for 20 bucks.

I still don't understand how someone like Target can sell something that is incomplete, just weird to heat something like that from a local store such as Target, just odd.

+G1 Smokescreen it looks like someone bought it and then returned it. They probably should have inspected better when they accepted the return. Without a place on the shelf, because it's an older product they don't regularly stock anymore they put it on their clearance aisle. Their mistake was my benefit this time around. I didn't want to pay full price or even $69 for this, but I was really close to. So when I saw it for $41 I was already set on buying it. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't broken or anything crazy when I took it to customer service. The fact that they discounted it further was even better for me.

In hind sight, I thought the TFA falcon sucked when it was first released because of the stupid gimmick ruining the clean lines. Well the pathetic Solo falcon makes TFA falcon look like a gem. Hasbro could have saved a whole lot of money and re-used the TFA falcon. Stripped the gimmick, add break apart blue panels, and the escape pod. But no hasbro wants more trash.
