he didn’t kill padme if you’re thinking about the movie when palpatine tells vader he killed her it was a lie to make him angrier she died from child birth
You will then proceed to buy me a cheeseburger from this particular location which may or may not exist after I destroyed most of the inhabitants years ago, if you fail she dies.
Say what you want about this game, I feel this one is important since it shows the essence of Darth Vader's being as a Sith. We seem him become good in the movies, but this shows his evil when he was completely void of knowing about his children.
@@fightingmedialounge519 not that much actually, in the movies where only see the history of anakin becoming dark Vader for the influence of Palpatine and one or other moment where the characters talk about him. Vader have more developed in comics and games than any other character, and is kinda sad since he is a really interesting character in the whole saga.
@@clevert. did you only watch the prequels? Vader in the ot was strangling his own man just for questioning his faith in the force, while also mutilating his son and torturing Leia. To say we didn't see be that evil is not only understatement, but blatantly false.
I love how Vader tries to force Starkiller back into the darkside the same way he got there, caring about the woman he loved and wanting to save her. God the prequels, so many good ideas, all wasted.
@@fightingmedialounge519 i've softened on them over the years but I do still think the prequels mostly fall under the umbrella of good concept poor execution.
Vader: -throws juno- Galen: RRROOOOAAAAAAARRRRR Vader: His metichlorion count is... -pulls off helmet and crushes it- OVER 9000!!!!!-cough-cough- oh shit.
Man, I always thought this was one of the most badass scenes ever. Starkiller mops the floor with Vader, focuses so much lightning at Vader, I'm amazed Vader is still alive. You'd think the only reason Vader survived a blast like that is through sheer will power! I'm also pretty amazed Starkiller didn't kill Vader on the spot when he was so angry. Dude! You do not screw with Starkiller or the people he loves!
Probably a change in tactics and preparation was what the difference in this fight. Bear in mind that in the 1st fight against the OG Starkiller, he was on the offense and confident with his abilities but ultimately he underestimated Starkiller's abilities. Perhaps after that loss he had time to prepare and analyse Starkillers fight pattern therefore in this fight he changed his tactics by being more in the defensive.
Haden Blackman and Sam Witwer, writer of TFU and Voice Actor said Vader lost in TFU I because he was only testing Starkiller and had his weaknesses to Force Lightning exploited when the lightning struck his life support system. In TFU 2 Vader literally stomped Starkiller fairly easily, but he let himself be defeated by a massively power boosted Starkiller so they would capture him, thinking they would get information from Vader, but Vader was the one who would extract information from them before freeing himself and killing everyone, that was all part of the plan.
...what *I* want to know is, why the *HELL* did Kota think that Vader would tell them *ANYTHING*? Yes, I know due to when this takes place that Vader can't stay in Rebel custody forever, and if that can't happen then Starkiller *certainly* can't kill him, so they had to find *SOME* reason for Vader to stay alive...but still, REALLY, Kota? How did you think you were going to get him to talk? Darth Vader is the *penultimate power in the Galactic Empire, second only to the Emperor*. I doubt that (other than letting him go) that you don't have anything that Vader wants, so you can't promise him anything in exchange for information. (Also, while the whole Sith ethos is built on betrayal and all that, Vader likely wouldn't have given up Palpatine unless it would have helped him in his efforts to unseat him as Emperor-- and as the whole ruse in the first Force Unleashed proved, the whole 'coup' line about Vader wanting to 'train up Starkiller as his apprentice so that together they could depose Palpatine' that Vader fed Starkiller was complete and utter BS, and was in fact masterminded by the Emperor himself). And barring that, probably the only thing you could do is torture him; and THAT probably wouldn't work, since one, Sith draw strength from anger and pain; two, Vader probably STILL wouldn't crack under anything that wasn't powerful enough to kill him before he talked; and THREE, even if was for someone as irredeemably (at this point, since he has NO idea that he even HAS a son, let alone the identity of said son) evil as Darth Vader, I doubt that Kota would have permitted Vader to be tortured. So (even though I understand it was justified due to the requirements of canon)...it just seemed *really* stupid for Kota to think that Vader would blab the Empire's secrets. Sure, put him on trial and then execute him, but...he probably would've died before he narked on the Empire (and even if there was a method to compel him to talk...I doubt he would talk to the *Rebels*). Canon considerations aside, it probably would've been smartest to let Starkiller kill Vader then and there; even *Jedi* have been seen to acknowledge that some horribly evil people just *need* to be disposed of. Anyone agree, disagree, think I'm WAY overthinking this? Feedback welcome!
Throw sand at Darth Vader, lay him in a sand box, bury him neck up in sand, put him in a sand castle, feed him pecan SANDIES, force him to listen to Sand In My Shoes, and make him play Sands Of Time.
You're right, but I interpreted it as basically the same thing that happened in the first game. In The Force Unleashed, Starkiller wants to kill the Emperor, but Kota stops him because he knew striking him down in anger would lead him right back to where he started. In The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller's clone wants to kill Vader, but Kota stops him because he knew striking him down in anger would lead him right back where the original Starkiller started. Plus, he cared for Galen Merek. He needed to know if he was dead or alive.
gcardoso if only Disney wasn't so bad at making a great Star wars movie where there is more jedis and Siths, more Republic Clones, no boring Rebellions and more Action. now these new star wars movies are pointless and a waste.
+Bradley Anderson Damn Straight!!! He is a good actor, he deserves more credit and plays the star wars esk! role very well!! We must start a petition!!
Fans: "You've taken everything from me!" Disney: "The extended universe is not real." Fans: "It is real to me!" I only wish force unleashed 2 was a longer game
So Vader survived being BBQ'd for like 40secs but dies moments after being fried by Sidious and yes I know Sidious went all out against Vader but come on he would have been a fried corpse in can after going through all this and fans got all butt hurt when Disney made this non canon
Nath an Sidious's force lightning power was miles above the power of any other force lightning ever conjured, including Darth Bane and all the other powerhouse sith.
That actually makes a lot of sense because when Starkiller kept shooting lightning at him you could hear that it was getting more difficult for him to breathe and as soon as starkiller stops you can hear him struggling. 5:31
@revanisthebest It did have some pretty amazing moments. Such as the Gorog fight, and the whole crashing the space ship into Kamino thing. Kinda wish it was longer. Game felt like there could've been more added.
Vader: She loved a dead man, she would have NEVER loved you. Starkiller: At least I HAVE someone who loves me, unlike you. Vader: ~sniffles~ that hurts man... that really hurts.
so basically darth vader can survie being completly execticuted for like 1 minute at very high intensity. but getting his hand cut off and being slighlty electricuted for about 3 seconds while throwing the emperor off is just too much for him. WTF!?
Isn't this supposed to be a much younger Darth Vader who is at "peak" power? Starkiller in these games is the most powerful character in all of Star Wars... so it makes sense when you think about it.
@@DJScrimWithDat808 starkiller isnt the most powerful in star wars legends.. hes only faster than darth vader and can beat him because of the training sessions he has had with vader .. plus sure vader is powerful and waaay stronger than starkiller but his power in the force isnt as much as it was when he was fully human.. not lets say if anakin had become like vader in terms of his dedication and mentality then Anakin would have been the greatest to ever exist and woud wipe the floor with Starkiller easily
King K. Rool: (Gets in Smash) Banjo: (Also gets in Smash) Steve: (Gets in Smash as well) Conker: YOU’VE TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM ME! Steve: Your feelings for them, are not real... Conker: *THEY ARE REAL TO ME!!!*
This situation does raise an interesting question: Can one be forced to turn to the dark side against one's will as Vader suggests here? I thought anyone who turned did so for the most part willingly. Manipulated or nudged to by outside influences I grant, but still ultimate choice to turn rested with the turnee. Is it a real turn if one has the proverbial blaster to the head or lightsaber to the throat. I would think at this point should one "turn", the turnee is not really responsible for what happens from there onward. If one had a gun to someone you cared about's head, you would do exactly what you were told to save their life if no other options existed. Any thoughts?
***** Is that really a true turn though? From what we've seen, one has to give oneself to the darkness. True, someone who is very powerful can conceivably mind trick and/or control someone to obey to a point, but are they really doing evil or the will of another against his or her own will?
Carlos Augusto González González I still say thats not a true turn to the dark side. External force would forcing one to turn against their will. Doing evil acts willingly as Palapatine and Vader did is one thing, it's something else entirely if one is forced to do it against their will.
Game taunts you by having you think you get to fight the final boss in Unleashed mode, but they couldn't be arsed to design a real second phase to this fight which was never more than whacking than a punching bag with lightsabers for ten minutes to begin with.
I just don't understand something in smallville: Davis (doomsday) died by being stabbed but a few episodes later he cut himself with a knife and bled... without the knife breaking.
The part where he used all that lightning at once he was awsome. Also what did you choose on the last part I played both and personally I think I prefer taking vader prisoner
If most of darth vaders body is made out of mechanic materials and breathing apparatus, why cant force users or jedis use the force to rip off his mechanic body? Or target his breathing apparatus?
ermitanyo hermit it’s been done before a Jedi defeated Vader by turning off his thing But 1 the dark side gets him so angry he can handle it for a little and remember their is this thing called force resistance so no one can force push him a billion times
I think that star killer really is a pretty good light side sith not quite using the secretive and forbidden parts of the force he just pushes the most basic parts of the force, force push/ force lighting using his emotions.
Its said that Vader was completely unprepared for Starkiller's type of fighting, like the ferocity etc. So now he has had time to adapt to that way of fighting. Hope it helps.
Fascinating fight but...Vader can't use force lightening his prosthetic limbs would interfere much like the end of Jedi when the emperor used his force lightening on luke and it transferred to Vader when he saved luke **spoiler alert**
He didn't use force lightning. There was thunder and lighting in the environment so he simply used his telekinesis to change the direction of the lightning towards Star killer
Erik you don't even belong in this franchise so all your points are invalid...A) its "The Force" not telekinesis he's a Sith lord not a mutant...B) his prosthetic limbs and apparati' cannot handle the electric current..i'm sorry you're wrong homo-sapien 2...Homo-Superior 0
Brody Provost Actually, Erik is right, Vader learned a technique in the force which he can send blasts lightning-like force through his prosthetic limbs, although, yes this is not force lightning, vader could also manipulate his surroundings using such power...
+Golden Dog His suit has been remade to be more resistant to force lightning, which is why beforehand it doesn't affect him. The only reason why it's affecting him then is because Starkiller is manipulating raw lightning, which Vader didn't prepare for.
MY 2 CENTS, Vader let him win to infiltrate the "hidden rebel base"...sorry I know the developers had to make a cool character to rival the sheer awesomeness of Vader, but-Darth Vader would win...period.!!!!!
What’s sad about this Fight is I think Vader thought of Starkiller as a son like figure. And sense he thinks his kids are dead he might feel like Starkiller fills the void they left And Vader raised Starkiller so it’s kinda sad to think about
Bruh memes aside. How in the god damn fuck did Juno survive that shit. He pushed the absolute shit out of her, sent straight out of a window, and on to another building with enough height between the two to where she should definitely be broken all over. Like god damn. I don’t know of any mere mortal that can survive Vader’s Force pushes. On the Wii version I could kinda see how she could survive that one albeit a bit fucked up but naa. By the looks of it she should’ve been dead as shit.
