Star Wars Vintage Collection Slave 1 2020 Boba Fett’s Ship Review 

its crazy how the retail is 150 bucks for the re-release and back in 2013 it was around 66 bucks if I am not mistaken, it more than doubled. Its cool how it has room to fit 3 figures. I got the cheap 20 dollar one that one fits one figure in the cockpit

It's huge, even though it's scaled down. A true 1:18 scale Slave One would be just short of 4 feet long!

I need to get my hands on this thing. I have the Jango version of this same Slave I, the one that came from the Clone Wars line as part of the Rise of Boba Fett battle pack. That stand looks great, would be awesome to display both of them side by side.

Would love to see How this guy works for 6 inch figures? Obviously it would be too small to scale, but looks like you could custom a single seat in the cockpit for 6 inch figures…

Loved the video. The ship looks crazy cool. Now Hasbro just needs to make the razor crest for the vintage collection.

The wings on mine are not warped, but they don’t lay flat either in flight mode.

Can't wait to get mine, just ordered one a few days ago. I was going to wait to get it on clearance, but it might not go on clearance, so I pulled the trigger. Now we need a Razor Crest for 3.75 figures.

If you have the new millennium falcon, you should've parked it next to this bad boy, it would've been nice to see the size difference.

Looks great loving the weathering and the added detail on the back. Even though I own the first release I'm still picking this up! Do wish the inside was more detailed and wish they didn't still use stickers. Great review and thanks for the closeups on the inside!!

And yes they are a little more detailed! But to Jack the price from 40 to 150 is just a cash grab! Hasbro is seriously taking full advantage of us right now with the black series, and the vintage collection! Now haslab??? Basically a go fund me page to build vehicles! They are so afraid of loosing money because knowbody wanted the new trilogy stuff! So they now think there isn’t a market! Hen they can’t keep the isle stocked for more then an hour! Huge demand for baby yoda and you can find him anywhere! Why can’t they put more vintage collection figures and black series?? It’s mind numbing

What I noticed that was wrong were the guns! Those are not the guns that were on the original ILM model. Why didn't they make the guns accurate. I had a code 3 replica of the Slave-1 and the guns were identical to the ILM model. It figures!

That rubber on the wings was warped on mine as well. It doesn't seem like it is supposed to be like that. I plan on hitting it with a hairdryer and straightening it up.

Great video. a bit of a cop out with stickers inside. Would expect more detail inside. But looks great from the outside.

The only major downside is how inaccurate the ship is. The Seismic Charges come out of one port between the engines, the door on the side was never there, and the ship should be bigger than this.

I promised myself Id stop wanting to buy the big ships I never got when I was a kid, but idk now that I see this..lol I always wanted Slave 1 way back when. All I ever got were tie fighter, Vader Tie, lukes landspeeder, a imperial troop transport and a couple of the little vehicles from Hoth. I always wanted the XWing, M Falcon and a Sand Crawler mainly back then. This new version I think has way more detail than the original issue toy. arrrgghh

7:57 Going all the way back to the first release of this vehicle in the Jango Fett colors, those parts of the wings have always had some level of warping to them. Its a bit worse on all the sample Ive seen so far of this latest release.

I held off on buying one of these due to price. When I saw that Hasbro re-released it under the moniker “Boba Fett’s Starship” for 2022, I ordered a TVC Slave I. Fuck the woke bullshit. It will always be Slave I and you wont convince me otherwise.
