One of the longest games of professional StarCraft 2 that I've seen. In this match of Zerg versus Protoss between Elazer and Nice we have a very active match all things considered. Most long games of pro SC2 are two players sitting back, but that is not the case between these two progamers at all.

Best of luck with recovery and walking! Two ACL surgeries gave me a special hatred for physical therapy and doctors. Can't imagine recovering from spinal surgery.

Would it be imaginable for you to do a slow mo’ video of this last battle and explaining what is happening ? Like what are the players doing, what kill what, why this unit is moved there, etc. I have watch it 3 times and everything goes to fast ! Incredible game, incredible cast !

The vast majority of the answer for that final battle is both players attack moved, and Elazer didn't spread out before the engagement resulting in the slow field from the mothership costing him a lot more than it should have. If his corruptors were on a separate hotkey and came in from the top, instead of over the other units, he would have cleaned it a lot quicker. You can see him attempting to move his corruptors out and away, before moving them back in. That is time spent being attacked and doing nothing. Especially with Nice just attack moving into the spore crawler forest, it should have been a lot more one sided. However I believe Nice realised that his opponent was not maxed out, and therefore out of minerals. Looking at his bank, realised he could force an engagement and rebuild enough to end the fight.

Well, Elazer said "DRAW" in caps too. So i don't think either of them were trying to be rude, they were just very very far away from each other.

thank your for all the videos lowko i truly love watching them i dont play star craft as often as i like but i still love the game and i love watching these action packed casts if i do wish you did a few more 2v2 or 3v3 matches because i like team games i know not everyone does i also love the lower league casts they are just so funny with some of the noob mistakes but they are also good to learn what not to do

Haven't watched the full video yet, but PvZ is in my opinion the longest of the race fights, Terrans have to spend Minerals to repair units outside of Medivac's heal. Protoss and Zerg both have some form of regeneration that is free, though with Zerg it is less viable, just because your units are so fragile comparatively. Most high level stalemate games tend to be more about positioning than static fighting.

What really pains me in a game like that is when zerg does not respread creep at their natural and main after losing their hatches/lair/hive and let the remaining buildings bleed out. It costs your attention and a little energy from the queens, sure, but it provides also vision. I saw two occasions where zerg wasn't aware of the position of protoss' army and therefore lost some high value units for free

I just thought, against skytoss like this. Neural one of the flyers, then paradtici bomb the one you control so you can keep it on top of their main grouping. Full damage control bomb

Sock are friggin awesome as a present. Especially dress socks. Not only are nice dress socks expensive, they are super annoying to replace. Unless you always buy the same color, you are going to have socks that don't match. It annoys me so much to replace socks, that I will deal with holesin the toe area by stapling them or anything that isn't buying new ones.

Elazer should have won this one tbh. despite fighting against protoss, he had overall better trades than the protoss (usually the trades go way in favor of Protoss) as can be seen in the resources lost info.

No he didn't have better trades lol, resources lost says Elazer spent more gas which is what matters. Also Nice simply had better eco for longer, he 100% deserved to win.

Honestly, don’t have corruptor in the army. They don’t do anything unless you can abduct units and every time you abduct you risk losing your vipers or all the corruptors (unless you’re Serral). Since you have no corruptors, now you have more room for the rest of your army and more gas the infestors, broods, ultras, banes, and vipers. Instead of going for kills, just destroy the interceptors and drain the protoss’s minerals until they are broke and the carriers are useless. Vipers will abduct tempests into spore forests while the ultra, ling, bane zone out the Templar. The ultras can be transfused afterwards and the lings/banes are cheap to replace. The protoss is forced to replace carriers with mass tempests and now that’s when the zerg can use corruptors

31:15 Should at this point Zerg go for swarm host, like 5-10 and nydus such that he can put pressure always dodging the protoss air army and take down cannons and stuff over time instead of spending gas on banelings? You have the anti-air all fine with spores/queen/viper/corruptor all you need is a "free" unit to pressure.

Swarm hosts cost supply, using enough of them to overcome shield batteries would make the rest of the army too small to not get stream rolled by skytoss. I think there should be a late game upgrade to swarm to that reduces their supply cost or lets them attack aa.

Parastic bomb + fungal + neural parasite together is OP. So as Starcraft continues to develope and players keep getting better, I don't know if there will need to be a buff for protoss against it those abilities since the hugh templar is really slow and can only feedback one unit per shot unlike the ghost which can take out a cluster of unit's energy

I noticed zerg lost 6 interceptors this game... does that mean that interceptors produced by carriers while controlled by zerg will actually be fighting for zerg? So it'd theoretically be possible for carriers to deploy interceptors that could then kill the carriers? Or are the interceptors always alligned the same as the carriers themselves?

This Protoss could A-move into 50 spores multiple times and still be efficient. Elazer had runbys and had to reposition static defence structures constantly. Imagine if zerg over extended into cannon battery as many times as protoss over extended into spores. I guess Elazer should just learn to play more like Serral smh.

Elazer would have 100% won if he didn't go so ham on the spores. He really didn't need that many. Just keep moving them forward and make more if the initial ones die. He was just a few resources shy from an easy win. Was bullying Nice all game. Not sure why he went so hard on the spores.
