Summer may be nearly over but that won't stop us from finding the densest copse of trees for our new logs.
Today we make our triumphant return to the lush and verdant Stardew Valley! After quite the wait the 1.6 Update has been released for Stardew Valley and with it so much new content. That means that we are ready and raring to have yet another fantastic adventure filled with strange blue grass, some new buddies, and so many more as of yet unknown journeys. Let’s watch how the life of Collin Derwall unfolds in the valley.

I see you have the Worm Bin, but do you have a Bait Maker yet? It is SO PROFITABLE to use one! You make bait out of common but expensive fish like catfish or sturgeon or largemouth bass, and then in one day of fishing you will catch like 90% only that fish and make MAJOR bank! I'd prioritize that if I were you, and use it every time you fish to get more of the fish you really want. Combined with the smoker it will make you a TON of money! P.S. Since smoked fish are considered an artisan good, you can sell them directly to Pierre. Which doesn't mean anything, but it's good to know, since normally you can't sell fish to him.

Can I give you a very important but slightly spoilery tip? It's about Willy, and why you might want to be careful about making friends with him. IDK how to blank out a spoiler, so I'll scroll down a bunch so you can ignore it if you want. Willy's six heart event involves crabs, and after that you'll be able to buy unlimited crab cakes from the Saloon for three days. They'll cost something like 550 each. They are FANTASTIC food, giving you plus one speed and plus one defense boost ALL DAY LONG. So it might be a good idea to delay that six heart event until you're kinda rich, so you can afford to buy a hundred or more, to keep you speeding around the valley for the rest of the year!

The key to mushroom logs is that the trees within 7 spaces of the log will influence what type of mushroom it produces. The number of trees influences the number of mushrooms produced. And the number of trees around it with moss on them influences how high the stars on those mushrooms are. So it's really good to put them in between trees in your tapper farm, where trees are thick and not gonna get chopped down. Oak = morels Pine = chanterelles Maple = red or purple
