i would ALWAYS restart the day in that situation. i think it's MORE realistic to restart when tragedy hits ahahahaha

My heart broke when I saw that. Earlier today I lost 206 coal, the galaxy sword, and 500 bombs... Restart the day, it was mostly just mining anyway ;)

Restarting is a natural element of min maxing. Regardless of system. Sometimes I restart a day just because I'm not pleased with the amount of fishing I get in a day. Or the mines were just bad. I tend to use the first run of a day as a quick scouting day unless it was a really good day. Dont feel bad, and know that if you restart any day that it's about how pleased you are with the run. Min maxing takes time and good management, sometimes that means doing a day over and over again.

she said on her first video it was unfair for mobile players, i actually manage myself and got lots of lucky days and on day 2 i actually manage to get 10 iridium fishes just from following her spring min/max with cutted scenes. tnx for the tips foxy

I have never seen the Robin scene when you die in the mine before. From what i have seen the squid ink is not needed for anything so you cans ell that. Since it is the twenty sixth you can sell the rice shoot as well since it is a spring only plant. You are doing great so no need to be hard on yourself because of one death. Your videos have been so helpful to me and i have been playing Stardew for a long time now.

Currently watching this series, just binged watched today all the way up to this point xD, but glad to see you restarted and that the community was cool with it. You seemed FAIRLY disappointed, to say the least, and minMaxing or not, SV is a chill and enjoyable game. Hearing someone have a bad reaction/time because of something like this is just off putting. Can't wait for the next episode!!!

Howdy Foxy, Deaths happen, my opinion is to reset, however I understand if people don't like the idea. the wood isn't such a big loss, but the salads really suck. Really you lost a days worth of time and about 6k which is not a small setback; especially considering how close you are to Summer 1. The breakpoint your approaching is needing cash in hand for the melons, at 80g a piece and your ~35 sprinklers is 23,000g summer 1. unless you are planning on selling raw veg, your going to have to spend some time on the 27th and 28th making cash. you will have 80 kale (11.2k) and 80 parsnips (3.5k) so you are still short without tapping into strawberries. Rare seeds aren't worth it beyond the first IMO. As you said they cant be made into artisan goods, so its more profitable to grow basically everything else. the seeds are 1k, and even at gold quality you only make 4.5k (3.5x profit) compare that to pumpkin which seeds are 100g and make 1008g juice or 966g pickle (~9x profit). on the topic of pumpkin juice, just make pickles unless you have a plethora of kegs; the extra 50g isn't worth the extra 2 days in a keg and/or cost of more kegs till year 2+ In regards to bombs in the Skull Cavern: to my knowledge people who use bombs in SC generally farm their own ore and just craft them over buying them in the first couple days. the SC are pretty rich in basic ore prior to getting to the iridium floors (80+) so most runs will accumulate 100+ ore each day, meaning 25+ bombs of each type. so long as you bomb a couple mummies along the way for solar essences you can maintain a good stock of mega bombs after Mining 9. In my last run, the first day the bus was open was a terrible luck day so I spent my time in the regular mines farming iron and coal to give myself a leg up in SC the following day. one last tidbit. if you are going to fish the mountain lake with the mine carts unlocked you can get max fish at that little 1 square peninsula on the east edge of the bridge to the mines if you cast straight down. saves you a few steps from the "legend spot" out on the island. :D

I planted a line of tapper trees on the path to the bus stop and they all shattered in winter, destroying the tappers and trees. Now I’m afraid to plant there. Any suggestions?
