I've been trying to do this over and over for a week now. I must have restarted at least 100 times now. I have no idea how you get so much gold by day 6. I'm usually about 1500-2k less than you and can never buy the amount of potato's i need. Up to day 3 i'm fine, and sometime i even have more gold than you did in this run to get my fiberglass rod without needing to fish in the ocean. But afterwards... You must have gotten some crazy luck on drops on day 3-5, especially considering you just left 1,500 gold worth of fish sitting in a chest.
holy shit the snowballing effect in the first season is through the roof. literally every 20 gold early on can make you additional thousands later in the run
Day 2 instead of going straight for mountain lake you can fish at ocean and sell all to Willy then go to pierres before it closes to get more parsnips, they will be able to be harvested on the 6th and you can sell direct to Pierre to buy more potato seeds.
Fun to watch, but I'm finding it hard to replicate on my side... I'm sure it's user error but I'm so far off I feel stupid.... I did make 1 minor mistake (sold my fish the night of leveling instead of the next day) but if that's all it took to throw me off by almost 50% then oof.... also finding it REAL hard to get down the mine after spam watering then fishing to recoup energy... I went as hard as I could and only managed level 45 in the mine :(
Foxy Fern, you have lied. The title of this series implies anyone who follows it would have 213k gold IN THEIR POCKET by day 1 of summer. However, this is not the case, and what that number actually means is 213k gold in total earnings. Now I'm glad I modified this run, because if I didn't I would end up with less gold than I expected.
Good video. This may be a matter of preference, but I prefer to buy the training rod and use it for the entirety of day 2. Also, there are two ways I like of doing day 1, either you sell your parsnip seeds and buy potatoes (less watering, more money and XP) or you plant the 15 parnsips and keep the 500g on you for day 2... on day 2 if you can hit level 2 fishing on the beach before willy closes, and you manage to catch 1300g or more worth of fish, you can buy the fiberglass rod right then and there, take it up to the mountain, hit level 4 or get very close to it in prep for the :3fishing you will be doing on day :3 (I'm sorry) edit: typo
If anyone's ever curious and you find this guide later: The 3 levels in day 2 thing is possible. You will need a training rod and to actually be good at the fishing game since. You basically just HAVE to hit your perfect catches.
I watched all of the first three then decided to see how much I could copy in my own game. Not even close to what you did. 😔. I play on mobile (Android tablet) and have never been able to do things as quickly and easily as I have seen on these min/max types of videos. I doubt it's because of playing on mobile though, I think it's just me. And yeah, I definitely have experience as I first started playing back in 2018 and it was still only version 1.3 when I started. Oh well, I have definitely improved over the years as my latest game has much more completed than any of my previous games but I really don't think I will ever get to the place where I can make that much gold by Day 1, Summer Year 1. Nice videos though.👍🙂

day 8 -water your crops -eat highest to lowest parsnips and chubs -go get pickaxe from clint and head to the mines -make more furnances to smelt materials -mine until you pass out if youre broke, if not go home
Important note: don’t feel bad about abandoning a perfect catch for a treasure chest, as a perfect catch multiplies the XP you gain from the fish caught by 2.4, but getting a chest multiplied the XP gained by 2.2! It’s a super great trade off with the smallest XP downside with the potential for a lot of gold off of just one cast.

I did this but didn’t get nearly as much luck while fishing but still got sprinklers on day 16, I just had 90 strawberries instead of 300, though like half the money they got was from treasure and the beater treasure I managed to get was bait
