At 17:25, you see that I flip those last two Deimos Wing A's into the 3x1 Living Hab which would cause _interior clipping_ *DO NOT FLIP THEM IN. JUST DELETE THEM. THEY'RE EXTRA PIECES WE DON'T NEED!* ***POST 1.13.61 AUGUST UPDATE DISCLAIMER:*** With the recent update removing Flipping, Variant Swap and Duplication as we used to know it, merging certain parts together in this build like the reactor, grav drive, and fuel tank will require a different process. If you're ok with mods, you could simply just use a mod like Better Ship Snaps and Ship Building Tweaks as a replacement for all Glitches, however, Duplication is still available as a vanilla glitch method but with a slight difference: Select the part you want to Duplicate downwards, and select the corresponding Nova Bracer indicated in the video. Then Duplicate both parts. The parts will Duplicate in place instead of Duplicating downwards like what is shown in the video. Simply select the Duplicated part and then press Space (Accept), and the part should Duplicate downwards. Slightly different, just an extra step but with the same outcome if done correctly. You could theoretically accomplish any glitch method with just Duplication, so it's good we still have this in some capacity. If you still have trouble, I recommend watching this video from JRamosWorks Gaming Fun. He details how to do certain glitches that still work: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-svqQLP_7rPc.htmlsi=qYNrmQnUEqscn-vt I'll continue to do full on build guides utilizing both glitching and mods and will detail everything out.
Sweeet! Glad the Star Hawk is working out for you! I have one last faction interceptor left that I want to do before I go back to do some different role-ships but this one is definitely a fun one, and decently quick to do!
I just finished building it. Man I think it took me a little over 2 hours. Had to learn to merge again. But now.....she's fast and knocks anything outta space. Thank you sir.
Glad you like it! Not sure if you saw my pinned comment but at 17:25, those last two Deimos Wing's don't need to be flipped in. If you do, they cause interior clipping which, and they're also redundant, so they can be deleted.
Thank you brother, this one is one of my favorites. I made a larger version of this one called the Freelancer II in one of my latest videos as well. But you're gonna be another $600k+ down the hole for these 😅
Re-Visted😈 built my version of Star Anchor today, am trying to adapt big ship vision. Have been making small ships since beginning and it's time to get big... This video super charges me up at the beginning ! Starfall will be mine....
Sweeeet! I’m like the opposite lol, been making a lot of medium to large ships and wanted to do that interceptor series to force myself to try smaller builds. Thank you again Erin!
Thank you very much! She’s a fun one to fly. There’s a section around the 17:00 mark where I flip Deimos Wings into a hab which would cause interior clipping, but those Deimos wings are totally unnecessary, and there shouldn’t be any interior clipping for this build
@@seronon love dogfighting in this ship! Btw that section where I added the wings that clip into the interior is right at 17:25. Right after the cutscene I have with Jazz at the Key, there’s a close up of the rear end, and rather than seeing 4 Deimos Wings, there’s only 2 because the ones that clipped were removed and I forgot to record myself doing that.
Awesome, glad you like it! Nothing too complicated with this build, but if you do get stuck anywhere, feel free to reach out and I'll be happy to help!
In case anyone is wondering, you can do this entire build with only the duplication glitch. Just make sure you have at least 1 extra of any part that you cant get at whatever spaceport you build it at.
@@dvoremay6683 That’s awesome! Going to have to check it out later. Currently working on a Freelancer-III as well that’s essentially a much larger version of this one using the VTOL engines.
Thank you very much! I’m using Taiyo Side Cap B’s to mount the turrets. Btw if you do like this build, this one was the first in a series of freelance mercenary ships that I've been calling the "Freelancer" range. This Starfall build, a Freelancer I, is the smallest in the series and was designed to be a recon interceptor. For lore reasons, I added a Crimson Fleet background for the "owner of the Starfall". There's also a Freelancer II which is a dual hab width, asymmetric build designed to be a multi-role gunship [ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AoS4AHX6FKo.html] And I just uploaded the Freelancer III, the flagship in the range, and a triple hab width build that very closely resembles the Freelancer I aka Starfall. The Freelancer III was designed to be a cargo hauler/smuggler build. Just uploaded this one yesterday. It's also basically a largely scaled up version of the Freelancer I aka Starfall [ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H83I5wP1fOU.html] These build videos are pretty long and if you ever get stuck anywhere, shoot me a timestamp and I'll be happy to help!
What a sleek build! I especially love the clean top, makes it look very clean. I'm just not understanding how you get 6 Vanguard Hellfire autocannons, l only see you place 2 or am l missing something? Thanks already for the helpfull guide and beautiful build!
I really appreciate it! For the Vanguard Hellfire Autocannons, I duplicated two more into each one that was mounted on each side to get a total of 6. When you Duplicates them into each other, they kind of rest a little offset but they do merge. So just need to select the Autocannon and then Duplicate two more times.
Im kind of new in this game, so stupid questions are required, sorry. But which staryard du you find all thise parts for this build? Really fancy ship and like to build it. Thanks for sharing your build 😊
Thank you very much! Ideally an outpost landing pad. But most of this could be built at New Atlantis though. Just get the parts from Stroud, HopeTech, and Taiyo first, then head to Jemison, New Atlantis. For Stroud, you must go to Stroud Eklund in Narion for the bridge. When you’re getting the Taiyo parts, get a couple of extra Taiyo Spine Bs just in case. They’re temporary but they’ll help with some of the glitch merging we do.
If you can manage to do this at an outpost landing pad, the only extra parts you’ll need to get are the Bridge, 10T Hauler Cargo Hold and Helion Beams. And you might be able to knock out all 3 of these at Stroud Eklund, so it’d be one stop. Everything else is available at outpost landing pads assuming you’ve unlocked the Vanguard parts.
I have some good news for you if you use mods. This ship along with 4 of my previous ships will be available in the next Starfield Fleet Expansion update which is available on Creations. And I do intend to get upload my builds separately into Creations as well.
I gotta ask cuz it’s driving me insane; so I built this piece by piece exactly how you showed but my mobility came out as 58 while yours is at 92, how did you manage that? The only thing that’s different is the types of hab I used (I adjusted to 2x1 control station, 2x1 workshop, and 3x1 all in one berth) but that can’t be what’s bringing down my mobility right?
Don't forget to Duplicate a second White Dwarf 3030 into the one sitting in the tail! There's two merged into each other there. ALSO! There's a part right around 17:25 where you see me use two Deimos Wings that would clip into the hab. You DON'T need those at all. There should be no interior clipping for this build and those Deimos Wing deletions should help a bit on mobility too.
at 6:03, the HopeTech Thruster isn’t snapping to the novaCowling correctly any ideas to fix this? or is this something that is hidden that i won’t really need?
Before you set up the Nova Bracer foundation to anchor the Thruster, try selecting all parts by double clicking a part and then hit accept to merge any loose parts. Then set up the Nova Bracers so you can set that HopeTech Thruster for a drop. When you do the Drop glitch, select the Thruster (must be green when you select it), then Drop it one level AND simultaneously release the part at the same time. It'll snap right into place. The Drop glitch is finicky to get at first but once you do get it, it becomes second nature.
Game is broken It’s telling me I have modules that exceed reactor class but I checked everything I have no modules above B… what do I do I can’t save quit the ship builder I’ll loose everything 😭
@@gwadason971 There must be some sort of Class C module then. Make sure you go through the entire checklist for modules: - Class B Reactor - Grav Drive - Shields - Weapons (all 3 of them)
@@gwadason971 Ahh that’s very easy to miss. But yeah whenever that happens, it’s always some annoying random part that needs to be swapped out for the proper class.
Been trying this build out, but seem to be having trouble with getting the caps/tail to merge correctly and attach to the ship along with the white dwarf engines on the wing portions of the build. Any tips?
Just so I make sure help the right area, can you pinpoint which times in the video you're referring to? For the tail section, if I'm reading that correctly, you're having trouble with the top Nova Cowling, Engine Bracer, and cargo hold section of the Tail? One thing you want to make sure of is when you're doing Duplication and Dropping in the Tail, to have a foundation of Nova Bracers as available snapping points. And parts of this section require you to place a part first, then another one to it, and then remove that original part. Such is the case right at 9:22. Right after that at 9:32 I set a foundation of Nova Bracers on the side of the hab to create snapping points for the Stroud Engine Bracer.
And then for the White Dwarf engines into the wings, iirc, you can actually do that last by just hovering the engines snapping point to where the Stroud bracer snapping point is, flip it, then flip it back and realese. Then select the entire ship and accept to snap the loose parts into place. So just hover it through the Taiyo Caps and try to place the snapping point where the stroud bracer snapping point is. The engine will be red but flip it and flip it back then release and it'll stay right there merged with the caps. Then to actually snap it into place, select all and accept.
@@High_Key so it's the process from 12:06 through about 12:40. I followed the steps exactly, but for some reason the caps and tail pieces aren't snapping when I select all and accept. The engine snaps just fine.
@@justinwreden89 Interesting, so taking a look back at this section, and to what I did on the other side, I'm kind of surprised myself that the engines snapped to the ship lol. I kind of have no idea how that worked. The only reason why I think it did is some how the weapon mount on the Deimos Wing merged with the weapon mount on the Deimos Tail and both are being held in place by the Helion Beam. You can see how close those to weapon mount points get right at 12:12. See if you can replicate that part as close as you can because I think that's the connection...otherwise, the WD engine merged with the Taiyo Cap to become one merged piece that allows that to attach to the Stroud Bracer. I'll try and double check this asap.
@@Hollandking2007 the engine should attach to the Stroud Engine Bracer. When you set it in place, make sure to Select All, then hit Accept to snap it into place.

@@mack9822 you have an outpost, perfect, and in Narion, even better. So all you need if you want this exact build, are the bridge, Helion Beams + Eradicator Turrets, 10T Hauler cargo hold, and the scan jammer if you want it. Let me know if you have questions. PS: at 17:25 you’ll see me flip those last 2 Deimos Wings into the ship. You don’t need those. Just delete them. If you flip them into the ship, they’ll clip into the interior, and they’re totally unnecessary. I removed them off screen but you can see no clipping when I do the interior tour.
Alden Rake is the character I made up for this ship’s lore. It’s nothing special, just having some fun with my intro trailers is all. The ship’s lore is detailed in the bio of this video under Ship Description.
