Credit goes to kibbles gaming. Plz pin or link him. He is def founder and shared this with yt 6 days ago. Many have been ripping him off. I understand chat may of showed u but he is founder. He even jokes about how we will see others sharing this over the future week but theyll show exaggerated numbers. Jj floppers stole his vid word for word its sad rly. I love u turtle and im glad u mentioned others told u but i would respectfully link to kibbles gaming in desc. Or pin comment
i'm sure a lot of people find this place on their own, at different times, and upload at different times. just because someone uploaded first doesn't mean they found it first, but you just go straight to accusing this guy of ripping someone off. seek therapy
I'm glad you made a video guide on how to do this, AT. Your guides are always more thorough and easier to follow than the other channels, and you never leave out any details.
Pyraas II is a better world for this exploit because it is a Temperate world and thus does not require Planetary Habitat 1. Also, I am pretty sure you don't need outpost engineering 1. The Zoology 1 skill gives you access to the farm building.
@@haroldallaberg6359 This is not a 'cheat', but it is definitely an 'exploit'. It is technically an 'exploit' because the game was not designed with the intention of allowing you to do this. Kibbles, the game rules lawyer, came up with this nonsense.
@@haroldallaberg6359 This game mechanic was designed so you could raise fauna and harvest resources from them to use or sell. It was definitely NOT designed as a mechanism to Farm 100,000 XP per hour! Thus, this is not a 'cheat' per se, but it definitely is an 'exploit'.
Hey turtle, nice explanation man. one thing to note; the dead spiders aren't despawning because you have different instances for your outposts. since you're not "in the instance" I assume it freezes everything. I found putting multiple outposts in the same instance fixes the corpse pile up. so when i go from #1 to #2 the first one is out of render distance so corpses start despawning by the time #2 fills up. hope that's helpful o7
Seems like the perfect setting for using demolition weaponry! Load the grenade launcher weapon for more fun. Can do wide area dmg with more points in Demolition.
You can do this, but you will end up damaging the buildings to the point that they won't produce spiders anymore. As long as you don't mind interrupting your xp fest to repair buildings, sure... it'll work.
Decided to look for my own creature, found a "Herding Stonewall Grazer" in the mountains of Verne II (lvl 70) that is that has outpost production allowed also - they look like nightmare crabs hahaha.... But the base exp gain is only 94 (+ buffs) for some reason. Still, colony "PETA's Delight" is a success :D Also built a landing pad - heading up to space, sleeping for a couple of hours, and then landing again de-spawned all the bodies. As did sleeping on the ship at the landing spot just outside the colony. Sleeping on the ship while it was landed on the pad IN the colony, did not. Ordinarily wouldnt do this, but need lvl 60 to unlock all the ship parts, really hate the way they are hidden!! So thanks for the video.... 58 now, so close!! Just a little more RSI and I'll be there haha..... Oh and scoped rifle is the way to go!! At least for me, I have a ton of rounds for my beowulf that I just wasnt using. Circle the houses with something to stand on in the middle.
Can anyone help me, I’m trying to set this up, I have all the skills, researched everything and have all the resources but the tab “builders” doesn’t show up for me at all? Been looking all over the internet and can’t find anything
I think the rifle thing is the preferred choice in order to get challenge ranking for sniper and in particular, concealment, which is otherwise damn hard to challenge.
There are many similar methods, but not a fan of these intense exp farmings. The game will become less and less appealing if you go down this road, I did it in the past games, not doing it again, just as an info for people excited about this farming method. I prefer sometimes to fine-tune my levels by just hunting some aliens, looting them and then resuming my quests.
Yeah I agree. I seems very appealing to get those levels in sooner but by the end, you don’t feel as accomplished as you should be. It’s totally ok if someone doesn’t feel that way, but it slowly ruins the experience for me too.
Farmed to level 84 on the first playthrough. Now on ng+ and having way more fun beacuse I can get all the highest quality weapons and ship parts right at the beginning of the game. I make my ship, mod my weapons, and have a blast. Playing on very hard sucks because everything is just a bullet sponge. Having skills to make it less awful feels much better to me.
@@devongilliam3360 Yep, farming up to 70-80 should be good to do once per character, I do it too. I was talking about the min-maxing hardcore farm that gen get you to max level, or close. That I found overall a bad choice.
If this doesn't appeal to you than you can do regular XP farming. Instead of building ag farm for fauna husbandry, just travel to red difficulty worlds and hunt down fauna. There is plenty of XP to be had doing this, though it is a bit slower than the method described here. The bonus is that you don't have to spend 90 sealant, 570 Al, 150 Fe & 90 Cu to build the infrastructure.
@@OpticalGreen I gotcha. I farmed to the late 70’s and by then I had maxed out almost all of the tech tree so I scanned all the planets and whatnot while looking for all the temples. That yielded a surprising amount of xp as well.
Just horrible for consoles, The grind is real if you don't have the perks. FYI at least 5 to 8 hours. The pay off is probably better, I'm not sure. But WoW, the grind
I scan all the fauna at that planet, i invested skill points in ZOOLOGY & PLANETARY HABITATION and i still can't build the animal husbandry. i even don't have the buildings tab at the build menu. By the way, at low level planets like alpha centauri or cheyenne it works.
Turtle! Some guy named Vash Cowaii did this (Starfield: The Best Endgame Outpost) on youtube and it uses cargo links very well, it is worth the watch because of the scale. Can you cover cargo link dynamics please.
I don't see what's hard to understand about Cargo Links. The only problem is that they immensely bugged. The time I spent trying to work around and fix them now it's used to just move the resources by hand and ship.
So I have it all up and running, I'm level 34 and even on very easy mode, it's taking me 6 or 7 shots with my best weapon to kill one, so can anyone tell me where can I get a one shot weapon like AT uses in this video please.
In animal husbandry mode these creatures are set up to be docile !!! no wonder i see loads of 'players' at level 150 plus. once you get to this level and on pc, and you know all the ways to get infinite xp, infinite credits, materials and stuff it then becomes too boring. just no challenge anymore........... what is the point, unless you have nothing else to do with your spare time of course.
idk if this can help the animal husbandry xp method or not but destroying the animal husbandry facilities then repairing it will insta spwan more animals. I guess it all depends on if it uses resources to repair it because idk.
Just an FYI Turtle it so helps I'm getting about 2 to 3 lvls every 5 minutes. There is a trick to it and you have to use the Coachman shotgun with hornet's nest rounds
The fiber, water, power is only necessary for the spider farm buildings to produce consumable resource. Scanning the whole planet improves the rate of resources farmed on that planet. Both of your concerns wont have impact spider farm for xp.
I cannot tell if I have experienced it but ive seen the reddit talk about some being broken and others breaking when you combine them gear effects. Just what I've read
@@axelsouth655 end game spoilers Bug started after I went through unity and decided to redo the main story. Some reason it’s only the combat skills that were affected and everything else is fine
@@rdavila8964 maybe its one of your companions triggering this , Angryturtle mentioned in his "Spaceship Crew" video about the ship skills and how crew member effect your skills , also mentioned a bug where you can lose 50% of your shield for example
I hope you read this! Not sure about pc, but on xbox I have been able to replicate a glitch many times that allows you to place parts while ship building that that are clipping and wouldn't normally allow you to place them. For example, landing gears (hopetech the 3 thrust ones. Normally you can't place them on a 2x1 hab if you have a companion way connected also) also weapons (turrets on the vertical plate that let's you mount two. If for example one turret would slightly Clip into something, this glitch allows you to place it anyways). I've even used it to place engines that you normally couldn't place because they are slightly clipping with another part, in my case it was also because of the landing gear. Dunno how I could share a picture of my ship with you? Then you can try and replicate it using this glitch and maybe make a video about it. I have not seen any other youtuber make a video about this. It involves placing a part near where you want the part to be but the game won't let you. Then you duplicate the part, it will flash green for an instant, if you do it fast enough it will let you place the part. I don't know how I could record it except with my phone off my screen (I'm a truck driver and so only have my phone and my Xbox lol...) Maybe you can figure it out just by my description or let me know how I could possibly share a screenshot or short crappy vid of this glitch so you can replicate it. Keep up the good work bro! Been enjoying your content 100%
If you only want to level one of your toons to unlock everything so you can test stuff - why don't you just give your self 50 levels ( player.setlevel [value] ) - then play with your other toon, make this a testing toon - your on the edge of not really playing if your only killing spiders. And if you if you worried about achievements - mods are working so well with this game, and if you get the mod to make achievements work you should get one of the mods that improve inventory screens ( StarUI Inventory is easy to put in and you will be amazed how much better it is ) and Faster Airlock and Hatch and Door Animations is a must, stops it being a door simulator game.
Truth is during development there was more survival mechanics like fuel consumption. This would've required us to have many outposts on moons with helium 3 to refuel the ships. I hope a survival mode or mods bring this to light of day.
