Just going to say - at timestamp 10:10 - Serpentis system - bottom left at Serpentis IV. You have a "Hostile Activity" marker - that guarantees an encounter at that spot. I have a quick look for those in any system I jump into. I usually prioritise those as it could just be a few Va'ruun or you defending against Va'ruun/ spacers/ pirates attacking someone. I feel there can be more variety of potentially tasty ships in these encounters - if you're not farming specific ships that is. I have Prophecy 2's coming out of my ears - have not seen a 3 yet, but I am just over level 50 so I hope to see one (and yoink it) soon. Finally found my first Ecliptic Claymore just sitting on a planet - hoping to find the higher spec versions of those soon.
Heya I'm not to sure what you mean with the timeslame sorry. The indicators only come up once they spawn in not before hand. If your only seeing Mk 2 it must be a higher level requirement. Maybe its 60+ but you should see the soon enough hopefully.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ at 10 minutes in your video - when you are showing the Serpentis system on your starmap - Serpentis IV has a little marker next to it. The dark rocket symbol. If you hover over it - it says "Hostile Activity". If you then click on the symbol to travel there you are guaranteed to have an encounter spawn. Unlike the random jump where you occasionally get no Varuun spawning in. If they symbol is white - you've already been there. Yeah - hoping to get a greater chance of seeing a 3 soon.
Yesterday I managed to get a Prophecy 2 and a Revelation 2 in the Serpentis system. I spent the whole day trying until I managed to catch them both. I like your videos. I watch using subtitles translated into Portuguese. I'm from Brazil!😊

Just decided to do a complete survey in a few star systems, went to one of them, landed in a planet, and found a Va'ruun Prophecy II in a ship landing site (around 450m away from my ship), with its landing bay down and its door unlocked. Got inside, sat down in the Capitan's seat, opened the main menu, turned it into my home ship, registered it, got out of it, went back to my home ship, assigned it back as my home ship, and now I have this beauty in my fleet. 🙂
I found a Va’ruun Prophecy III on Mercury. There were three Zealots outside and six Zealots on board. There was no contraband which was great as didn’t fancy searching a ship of that size for it.
Yer the ships in the universe aren't as good as the ones you can build. If your far into the game its more the fun of stealing ships to sell or to collect. But if your new some of these ships are so insanely good at the start.
@@Chiqidico you dont need to register if using a controler. Just set the next ship in you line up as home ship. Then in the sell ship menu, go on your newly set home ship and then use LB/RB (depending on in wich slot the unregistered ship is ) and Sell button at the same time. When done wrong, it says cant sell home ship. When done correctly, you sell the unregistered ship
All the Varuun ships I’ve found were all in “Fermi” system. I have several Outposts all around the Fermi system so I have a reason to be there a lot flying to various planets/moons checking stuff. Currently I have two Varuun ships in my collection I stole from on the ground. I’m usually just doing other stuff and happen to see ship land then it’s on like donkey kong to see if it’s a ship I want to steal.
I found the mark III somewhere along the way, and it instantly became my main ship for the rest of the game, with a few weapon upgrades. The game renamed it to UC Cargo Ship or something stupid like that after I made a few modifications to it, tho. 😂
I barely made any modifications after I captured a mk II and it still renamed the ship to UC cargo lmao I tried upgrading it but ultimately cancelled it, after that the name's changed
@@SiNKiLLeR_Sin, I've found that if the empty the cargo hold into your personal inventory before you mod stolen ships, you can mod them, change the name and it doesn't glitch out. I usually run solo (Introvert perk) so I'd dismiss any crew too before I make any modifications to any seized or stolen ships. Since I've done this, zero ship glitches.
Landed on the Moon with Andreja, saw a four story Ecliptic cargo ship in the distance, and went to claim it. After killing a few of the pirates, I went inside and started my massacre. Andreja got mad, left, and I had to chase her down an apologized. Then I went to get Vasco. Went on a killing mission, and took the ship. Registered it back at New Atlantis and swapped it out so port personnel could get about 40 bodies off the ship. Now it is the largest ship in my fleet!
In Serpentis, I randomly get the 3 ships to spawn in space but they don't attack. They will if you attack them. I boarded and killed with Sarah. Then she suddenly lost her mind when I killed the Captain. He had UC Navy uniform. The crew were all "Security". If ships spawn and don't attack, hail them. You can trade but it's empty but hailing clearly indicates they are friendly cargo ships.
Captured a few of these, but after rebuilding one of my play throughs become very broken. it's also happened in my current one, I think it's a mod conflict, 1st the name becomes VC cargo ship then it goes completely borked. Still great fun boarding these.
The builder is where my first graphical bugs come from, asteroids that follow your ship , or ship landed is missing some rendering. It makes no difference though, as it will happen later on even if you don't use the ship builder. Just a few annoying graphic bugs for me, rest of the game runs great. I'm level 90 and 300 hours
I highly doubt you'll ever get a mark 3 Prophecy in Serpentis unless you are already of a high level yourself. The max level spawns you can produce seem to have a ceiling of either around your level, or the system level. Since Serpentis is lvl55, if you're like under level 40, it won't produce spawns high enough to contain a mark 3 In order to get one at low level, you will probably need to go to one of the 70-75 systems, but then the spawn pool will compete between all the other races and random hauler stuff. I found my first one in Bohr, while I was around 43ish level, on my first playthrough, before enabling starborn spawns. Hope that helps everyone.... I think I gained like 10 levels in Serpentis before giving up on the system and went elsewhere! I had all the other class C, mark3 (37+ power core) hostile ships by level 25ish (all from around 75ish level systems) but the Prophecy eluded me!
Very good observation and findings. Similar experiences here as well. The higher the level you are the more likely you will see mk 3 ships. I think there is some data to suggest playing on very hard can increase the odds a bit. Same with going to higher level systems. But not many systems are as active as Serpentis .
@@SiNKiLLeR_ Yes, playing as very hard surely increases the odds of spawning higher space/grround enemies. Serpentis is super active indeed. In space, it seems like 9 out of 10 times it has an enemy spawn! Great job bud, your videos are very enjoyable o/
at just under level 30, i stole myself a Prophecy II but i think it'll be a longer wait for higher levels before i encounter a Prophecy III. it's an enjoyable vessel if you're just bored of using the Frontier or the Razorleaf in every universe (or perhaps Starborn Guardian in NG+).
U r de Man. Saw your video, grabbed my level 3 Conquer, went to Serpentis, jumped 3 times and voila, there it was looking all juicy and delicious. I am level 76. My main ship has been a Narwahl with upgraded armamant, I haven't been able to dock with ships for awhile. Auto turrets were working too well. At level 72 I bought both the mk 3 versions of the Renegade and the Vindicator but was put off by Starhip build level 4. Had a save before the purchases.) Thus, the Conquerer, which is a dope ass B tier ship, which I didn't have any of at the time. Thanks to you, I have both "brick" ships and sitting on 750k credits. NOW, I'm gonna grind out the Starship editor skill tree and figure out how to make the interiors of both of these ships more efficient. Thanks, you have a new sub.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ took advantage of Akila glitch when it was working. I now just grind the outposts and ther locales on the hardest settings. I pick up everything, and slowly crawl back to my ship. It's a little slower to make money now so I'm thinking about selling all of those legendary weapons I have stored up. I only use the Va'ruun pistol and assault rifle exclusively now. They are most definitely op
Tbh I feel the best shield is the class B one, it is 1500 compared to the best C class one at 1600 but it's repair speed is 7% as opposed to the 5% on the class C one.
Sure is. Less mass with very little loss against bigger Class C The 1500 is my go to, every time. 40 Reactor and three of the Neon City engines SAL's or whatever for huge maneuverability
Yer the 28T Defender Shield Generator is hard to beat. Assurance SG-1800 Shield Generator has the HP per 1 Power = 133 and the 28T = 125. Its a really close call but I think your right.

I think it's hilarious this video post when I just happened to go out on one of the farther planets. As soon as I land this ship comes in and lands. I walk over and take it without issue and completely rebuilt it lol
I am not havin much luck. Lots of Spacer junkers and such. Got the one cool Varuun ship and thats it. Lot of the time i land and nothing shows. Not sure what i am doin wrong.
Do you think that you could do a ship build video with this ship? Looking to add all workstaions and increasing cargo so that I can store all resources on ship as well as full research and work bench access. Looking to get out of the lodge.
I don't know if I can but sorry :( . But if your like me I always just gut the ships and add Caravel cargo to replace all the shroud hubs. I would add the workbench hub as well. It wont be very balanced but for me I care more about Cargo then nearly anything. If you balance it out I would suggest changing 1 or 2 hubs with Caravel storage the one that stores 1450 or something.
Good stuff. I'd love to know what ships spawn planet side that can be boarded and taken. I know Freestar ships can only be taken in space but there are some fantastic UC ships like the Reef and Civishuttle ( Abys Trekker style ) 40 reactor ships are the go to for modifying. Of course the most sexy ship in game is the Renegade ( Vigilant encounter, singing Irishman ) but can only be capped in space. Also love to see you do a stealth boarding so no bounty penalty ( that's how I do it ) Steal best ships and get no bounty...now that's pro pirating 101 😂
I know a few places for these ships. I will aim to make videos for them all hopefully. Even the Renegade I,II can land on some places. The steal game is mad fun. Any suggest on how you do your stealth? Do you have to not be seen the whole time to not get a bounty ? Still figuring out how it works as killing the last crew normally removes bounties.
Stealth works best for me with a fully modified Beowolf rifle and suppressor. You need light armor, the NG+ Starborn armor is good. Lighter the quieter, ie no jump pack, helmet etc. You can make some very good modified armor thats light as well. Dont take a companion, as they draw too much attention. Stealth around, make sure no one is looking directly at the guy you are about to headshot and shoot. If another NPC sees it, you get a bounty@@SiNKiLLeR_
I hit lvl 23 yesterday, after a Chrysler/Bentley grille swap, I converted my Gen 1 into a Manta theme design. Just deducted afew Deimos blocks and rearrange the front cowls. The weight reduction is a plus- highly recommend weight reduction.
Note, you can still clone, but you have to have the original ship registered. Hold the corresponding button of the ship to be swapped out, hence RB and than hold X for ship to be replaced on on right slot, or Lb for ship on the left-ship to be cloned will be in 2nd slot using Lb or Rb for slot 1 or slot 3.
Wow I thought the eulogy had more value cause it’s bigger than the prophecy, but you’re right! Eulogy is a b class sadly I think it looks a bit better imo XL sandwich
I'm will you on that one I like the look of the Eulogy and it looks so massive but its only Class B. I would have thought it to be the other way around judging by the size.
So I can’t confirm or deny this, but it’s really starting to seem like maybe the spawn pools for ships are more sort of seed based (not sure that’s the best way to describe it, but I can’t think of a better term) rather than being truly random. When I go to a system of any level, the first faction’s ship I see is generally what I’ll be seeing the majority of in ny time hunting something there. Now, the interesting thing I noticed though is that sometimes the sort of “primary faction” for a system seems to shift. The problem is I haven’t yet been able to tie it to an event or to any kind of in-game milestone. It seems to be random, but a lot of times it seems to affect a couple systems all at once. In an attempt to trigger it manually I’ve tried waiting/sleeping for different amounts of time, progressing different questlines past different points, clearing some/more than half/all major POI’s, but nothing gives me an answer I have any confidence in. The closest I can guess is simply that it’s level based, which would make sense since everything else ship related is level-gated, but I’m not sure. Idk it very possibly could be truly random and I’m just having weird luck going from seeing Ecliptic ass-turtles (Bayonet) 90% of the time to seeing 90% Crimson Fleet Flying Dongs(all of their ships, besides the Wight or Ghost, are incredibly oddly phallic) at the most every 3-5 levels or so, but I’m in too deep now to stop testing. It feels like everyone seems to get dropped into invisible “tiers”, and progressing those “tiers” seems to shake up the spawn pool or something. Idk, I’ve been playing too much Starfield when I’m not at work. I’m probably just going a little nuts.
Its different seems like there a random spawn pools which are tied to Lvl for sure but I'm starting to thing that the main quest line can also impact ship spawns especially once guardians appear. I really appreciate you insight , I've done testing and only thing I can for sure is that levels seem to make a difference for ground spaawns.

Protip: Different ship but, the Voyager III (Valentine) spawned for me at level 31 in Orbit skipping around in Hyugen. So I assume, you can pickup [insert ship name] III's from level 30+.
Got this ship in Archimedes system. Joins my fleet of a Dirge III, Eulogy III, Vigil III and a Rev II. I just hit lvl 34 and on very hard. Now, if only a Stormrider III would spawn 😤
Damm so it might require a higher level then I thought. Have you tried on Very Easy? It might be worth trying on Very Hard and then Very Easy and see if it changes it for you at all. Sorry it didn't work for you. Might be higher level :(
Piloting 4.. Game mode on Very Hard. Warp into a Serpentis system. Once ships spawns set difficulty back down if needed. BUT you need to have the game instance on very hard before the system or planet loads.
The Varuun Eulogy III which looks very similar is very bugged. If you capture the ship and register it, there seems to be a bug in the game where the ship if the next few hours will go poof and disappear from your inventory of ships. Along with that about 4-5 hours of your saved game files will also mysteriously disappear. I captured the ship a day ago first time and registered it and went to bed. Next day the ship was gone as well about 4 hours of continuous playtime saved files was missing which is set to save every 5 mins. I had a missing chunk of game saved files. I thought it was weird the ship missing as well game files. Today I recaptured the very same ship and the exact same thing happened. The only saved file that remain was the one when I boarded the ship to take it over. So beware of game bug when capturing the Varuun Eulogy III. I lost around 90K credits between both times capturing and registering this very ship since both mysteriously disappeared from ship inventory.
Can't recommend people to steal these ships. I stole two of the Va'Ruun ones and doing any sort of editing broke them, causing them to appear under the ground. Trying to fast travel to a station such as Den to get round it would get an error fast travel cannot be used at this time, plus if you ever got to the ship in space it would load screen with no option to move or access the menus. That was with NO errors in the ship builder.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ Yes. If you register and sell like the other gents have posted then it's fine. But I tried to edit them and got an error. It was a very big ship so might be the ones in the video. I tried to add vanguard obliterators and 3320 neuron turrets to replace it's current weapons. It might be the ship was too tall for the weapons.
No one said the problem was with selling them immediately. Keeping them will bring bugs until you board an invisible ship and you have to reload an old save.@@FP194
@@SiNKiLLeR_ I was flying around random planets and I came across a Va’Ruun Legendary Ship orbiting the planet. Just wandering if that was just a random encounter, or if there are certain known spawns. I wasn’t in a high tier ship, but I was able to grav jump to safety
@@joshwilson2271 I think those are Spacer ships. They are not Va'ruun though. I have them in my activities section now and it seems the ship does relocate.
@@ColonelFusion Late to the party but there are capital ships for each faction if I am not mistaken. You can't board or take them over but it's a challenging fight.

So how many of you guys have managed to turn off turrets without destroying them? I made a run for the bridge and recalibrated the turrets to protect the user, hold and behold the power of turrets mowing down snake worshipers.
Its definitely a great option in some cases. I didnt really think about it on ships as sometimes the console is in the cockpit. But nice tip there ill try it out:)
They look so similar. I thought the bigger one was better when I first saw it but its the class B version. But the Class B Mk is really decent for base ships.
Wait for the bug to occur and you might board that ship one day and its invisible. I lost mine, hated life, found another last night finally. Registered it, renamed it, hope it doesn't bug out unusable again.
