Starfield - Coachman Legendary Shotgun - Demoralizing, Hitman, Extended Magazine - Turtle's Lab 

I would be "demoralized" too, if someone fired a cluster of micro explosives in my face. It probably wouldn't be my biggest problem, but I'd be pretty sad about it.

With an explosive coachman like that, you will kill yourself more often than the enemy will kill you.

love having an extended mag coachman, I like to go to charybdis III and fire upwards, it aggros loads of aliens and they just head towards you, a little conga line of XP 😂but yeah... I blow myself up a lot with it too 😂😂

Yes! I had a good one on first run, with ext mag and concussive . Was awesome for cqb. For higher level I put hornets nest on and destroyed the 3 high level Terrormorphs in New Atl, since I started that quest line way later than usual…

It’s awesome when it does double damage on first shot on target with full health. Basically, overkill on first shot.

Where do you find this? I've finished up every faction quest and only have the last mission to do in the main quest, plus a lot of side quests and exploring, and I've yet to find one of these.

Finally you covered one of the best weapons in the game! How does Armor Piercing and Shattering work on this weapon? Does it work on only the main shots or does it also work on the explosive blast?

the coolest gun I found so far was a pacifier with explosive and radioactive rounds, but I also am only level 20

Around Level 5 an Extended Magazine Coachman dropped for me. I quickly ranked up Weaponsmithing to mod it so it was my only weapon for a long time. Four shots was enough to take out all enemies.

I got a double incendiary which I thought would be good but it actually changes the hornets nest to a fireball when the incend procs.

Extended Mag and One Inch Punch are the best legendary affixes in the game imo.

...and the moral of the story is, if you come across a legendary anything, KEEP it and mod it !!

A turtle was the difference between level 1 atmosphere in level 10 atmosphere

I have the legendary old earth rifle with ext mag, lacerate and tesla. I got it on the final earth mission, I left the hunter and emissary on earth where they stood and carried on with my game instead of finishing it and going on to NG+ and it's damn good actually

I picked up a coachman with the hornets nest mod and died the first time I shot it. poof, I didn't have a save so it was gone..

I have a non legendary version. It is my xp farming weapon. Works well with a single animal husbandry unit.

Only level 32 now, and on first playthrough. Legendary items other than the odd knife or helmet have seemingly disappeared from loot drops. And what's with all the level 5 and 8 pirates infesting abandoned facilities ? Aren't enemies supposed to level with you ? Very hard setting.

This is the one Starfield weapon that I cannot get consistent legendaries for.

I struggle to find any legendary. Seems like the chance for legends drops after lvl 90.

Wow I didn’t even know this gun could roll with extended mag but now that I see it of course it can. Is it possible for it to get explosive too?

I’m having a lot of trouble finding a weapon I enjoy and that does consistent damage. Any opinions on what the 3 best weapons are?

I found an explosive coachman. Thought it would be a good idea to mod it with hornets nest... Totally awesome, but I kept killing myself. Had to give it up and join Explosives Anonymous. Sigh, I do miss the show at night...maybe just one more. Couldn't hurt to have just one more, right?

Fireworks are all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

I'm only level 59, and I always one-shot myself if I use this weapon inside a building with a tight & narrow space 💀

I'm at the very end of my first playthrough (before NG) and I ended up creating a legendary ADVANCED Old Earth Assault Rifle with the console because the game refuses to drop any. I went to Earth at the NASA launching facility and I kept resetting the reward chest inside, I got a bunch of legendary assault rifles but all of them were REFINED. No matter how many times I reset the container all assault rifles were refined... the other stuff like the Old Earth Shotgun and the 1911 went up to ADVANCED but no assault rifle went above refined. I am level 77 and I regularly find Advanced Old Earth Assault Rifles in the shops so level shouldn't be an issue.

Found a double magazine coachman on my first playthrough. Used it for one or two dungeons and then sold it. It's so strong that it makes the game boring. Even with NO damage perks and on very hard it's way too easy with this gun. On top of that you have to watch your distance to not kill yourself. More boring, stressful and annoying than anything else in my opinion :/
