Bethesda trying to bring back paid mods to me seems to be a reason for all those empty planets. Outsource the work to volunteer labor that will only ever see a fraction of the profit.

16 bit games had less problems the gaming world suppose to be more advance. Starfield is a game they put a lot of time into shouldn't have this many problems.

Sometimes I feel like the overall concept of DLCs ruined gaming, because now it's like a "we'll fix it later" kind of attitude
@XenoJehuty84

@@GourmGames the original 'expansion' concept of DLC's aren't so much the problem, but nail on the head towards the 'fix it later' mentality in the industry.

16 bit style games still get made without issue today by indie companies. Monster Sanctuary, 9th Dawn, etc.

I've been in the gaming market since before the internet. (I feel old sometimes.) I've watched as gaming companies grew to these huge monolithic corporations more concerned with the bottom line than the actual product they produce. If you want to see a failure, we only have to look at any Activison product. If we want to see a success, CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077. When the company cares about the consumer, its obvious and my solution is to talk with my money, not with 'developers.' Your not talking to developers anyways, but whoever the company puts in charge of that kind of thing, and if they don't care, it doesn't matter. (edit) To address the CP2077 fiasco, the money handlers pushed the game out before the developers were ready. So its about money again. Honestly, I think these games are stupidly expensive to make, and the investors just don't like seeing a 0 net return on investments for YEARS. They want that money, and they're willing to put out a bad product to get it. So long as we, the consumer are willing to buy bad product, then we'll keep getting bad product at launch.

When astronauts went to the moon the longest anyone was there was for 3 days and they could barely walk they had to hop like kangaroos. Bethesda should consult the last 4 surviving people who have walked the moon.

200 hours in... Outpost bugged, disappeared and lost the people stationed in the outpost. Unusual SoS keeps activating and keeps screwing up pathing. On XsX after 20 or so jumps or a few hours of play, the game gets lagged, I have to save, quit the game, end the game, reboot it and load back in. I'm at level 67 and the grind is a nightmare

That was a face palm response to me. I was like, ok so its my fault I'm bored? Guess your right. Guess I shouldn't have bought the game. I'll remember this next time a Bethesda game launches. Bye. I think this Amazon Fallout TV show is being viewed by Bethesda like Edgerunners was for CDPR and CP2077. Bethesda is hoping to generate positive spin and more sales. Its just for the wrong game. lol.

Itviant as bad as CDPR Devs who rotated feedback from players about the fact the game was unplayable. I was critical of the game because the XBX was unstable. No Native 4K on the XBX and the fact that the Drcs broke the game even further with each patch update and after God knows how many hundreds of hours of gameplay I had enough of their BS they deleted my negative comments from Discord and after speaking to other players I found out I wasn't alone and other players had their comments removed and CDPR did the same they deleted negative comments about the game. The problem with Starfield is the fact that they created the game between the 6th and 7th Generation of PC and Consoles and you can see this with the engine it looks like Skyrim. Their player base is haemorrhaging players it dropped by 95% and they said it has increased I don't believe Bethesda they are lying about the fact they have increased players.3

I love starfield even after 500 hours but it's my kind of game. The emoty planets become kind of a NMS experience and I can kinda zone out for a while doing them like tetris 😂. I'm not claiming it's as good as could have or should have been but it scratches my utch, do to speak. What I want is an apology and an explanation for the crappy spaceship handling, the insanely stupid and unnecessarily frustrating outpost building controls scheme not to memtion the lack of variety in structures, the absolutely ignorant shipbuilding with no preview or control on where doors and ladders go. And in my opinion, if a modder can make Inigo years ago them All of Starfield's companions should be like that. Let's hope they pull a 76 and put out and fix a bunch of stuff after the fact. Like NMS, it sucked and then they made it good.

I own but haven't played the Fallout series. Back in the day I watched my buddy play Fallout 4 but it seems like a lot of devs are using DLC and online experience as a crutch instead of making the base game itself good. Then using online or DLC to compliment it

@@GourmGames well FO3 was my first experience with BETHESDA games. It was that first, "I can see a tower way over there and I can actually walk to it" experience that got me hooked. Some people just don't get Bethesda games like these. Mainly, I think, because no one else makes them and it's 5 or 10 years between them. 76 was not and was never meant to be a real FO game. It was just an mmo painted like fallout. You should play one of the FO games or Skyrim. You'll either really like them or be like, this sucks. It's like you live in them. You can finish the main story or not but there is still tons of stuff to do. Still Bethesda games like these tend to have some QoL issues that you'll probably want to mod out for your taste. I.e. I don't slow walk, lockpick or get weighed down any more. I've done years of that and I'm just not doing it anymore. For me, it doesn't add to the immersion or the enjoyment. So I don't do it. I didn't like inventory management IRL, I'm not doing it in my game 🤣 Remember Skyrim is old so you might also want some graphical mods. It's really easy to do. And one last thing, it's really the kicker, it's not that mods make it better. It's the fact that you CAN mod the game. You can turn FO or Skyrim into Nazis Fighting my pretty pony, if you want. You can tailor these games so it gives you personally the maximum enjoyment for you. It almost becomes a game you created. There just aren't any other games that do it like that. If you're the kind of gamer that likes to "LIVE" in the game world. These are the ones that let you. I have a Skyrim game save that I haven't played in a year but I'll eventually go back and wander around in the world I created. ... short post huh? 🤣🤣🤣

@wolfhors3_660 No worries I'm a paragraph typer myself 🤣🤣 but yeah I LOVE Bethesda hence this whole video and 80% of my channel. My delay on Fallout I just the immense backlog I already have. But I definitely need to get to it! Maybe after I finish MK1 Reboot and finish the Bioshock trilogy! Thanks for the insight!

@@wolfhors3_660 Skyrim was one of those games that made you feel like a Bad a$$. The music, the story, the quests, and the RPG elements all gelled together perfectly. Honestly its one of the best games I've played. Then the modders go a hold of it. 😘

Some of the stuff y'all are throwing at the devs is bullshit and based on preferences. I find the emptiness of a lot of the planets to be part of the experience. I'm going out into the unknown, the unsettled. If you want to say there could've been more hub worlds or cities, fine. But there is plenty of shit to do in this game. I put 10 days worth of time into this game in 6 weeks. Were there bugs, yeah. But nothing worse than Skyrim, and it won game of the year. And I enjoyed it far more than Skyrim. I think a lot of us just want to be mad.

I'm a base builder in Fallout 4. I get it. Everyone has their likes. I think the fall off in players is more the point. They lost A LOT of players lately. THAT is more the point I guess? Whose left are the real fans. The rest came, they played, they got over it, and are moving on. Mostly, I think everyone is looking for the reason why, and most of the drop off players are posting that they played the 'game' side of the game and didn't really care about the outpost or ship building part of the game because that part of the experience is empty. True space fans know this, but are true space fans enough to keep the game going? I don't know, but companies follow trends. And this is a trend worth noting.
@hunterking6033

@@b.thomas8926 I think the reason is people best the game and there are other gtrst games to play. I haven't played the game in 2 months. I put over 10 days in it. It's not a multiplayer game that I can drop in with the guys every day for a few games. There would be falloff. I think the game has issues. Outposts aren't intuitive and I run into some bugs with the builder. I wish there were a few more hub cities. I wish there was more to House Va-Ruun. They could 3 mixed in a coupleore structures for the bases, labs, and structures that spawn, but it's a small gripe and makes considering it's so early in space colonization. Prefabbed and familiar is how outposts should he for survivability. But the game had some of the best missions I've ever experienced in over 2 decades of gaming. I thought it had some interesting hard choices to make. I liked a lot of the world and universe building.

@@hunterking6033 Like I said, I'm not knocking ya. We each got a gem in our collection. Fallout 4 despite the bugs persistent even today, I still play it. But Starfield may be a game that doesn't have a wide enough appeal to keep itself supported and that's put Bethesda on the defense. The rage on reviews isn't anything new, honestly, and neither I nor Bethesda could care less. The AI response however, is a slap in face, and would generate even more negativity. Better to say nothing than be condescending.
