Wait, does "fixed economy" really mean something "costs the same throughout the game"? Or, could it be that it is 5 credits on one planet and 8 credits on another, but the 5 and 8 are always the same?
I don't like how all of the PS exclusive games get love and praise from fans of all systems but when Xbox makes a exclusive it gets review bombed and hate raided.

Wouldn't it be cool if the reason why they're spending so much time and effort with the character generator system based on how your player character looks is because maybe in the future they have ambitions of making a rpg game where the story could span across multiple generations, so you eventually play as your son etc etc. Like bannerlord

Starfield has the potential to be the best video game created this far. Im here for it. 👍 Any person that will spend there time to have multiple accounts to review bomb a game has deeper rooted issues and should focus on real life. 💯
Probably won't be a thing since the Bethesda engine isn't really made for vehicles and the current way of generating landscape is 1km² and it foes that in the background so that means if you get to fast you might experience lag
I only see vehicles as necessary for those who plan to put in a weak 25-50 hour playthrough and just want to blast through to get achievements, rather than enjoying the game, exploring and seeing as much as possible. The Creation Engine has never been able to work well with vehicle implementation and people would just complain about it anyway. I'm sure modders will bring in some sort of vehicle mechanic if Bethesda doesn't with DLC. I say save the work, space and GPU juice on making the things shine that the Creation Engine does much better. Forza comes out pretty soon, and it's gonna be the best "vehicle" game on console ever.
Never cared about reviews and never will. Angry, upset and insecure people will always voice their opinion and try to shove it down your throat. The rest are busy playing a game they enjoy
The xenos they used for war is definitely that 6 or 8 limbed creature thats looks to be very difficult to fight. Possibly the labs accidentally let it breakout which is a part of the main story, like how we saw them on that whiteboard at the kreet laboratory.
Zero bugs? I’m sure there weren’t thousands of game breaking bug (I also got both day 1) but there definitely were many bugs. Loved both games and played hundreds of hours in both. I can distinctly remember a jarring issue with memory limits on skyrim that did not allow more than 4gb of VRAM so there were pink “textures” everywhere after about 30mins of play. Not counting quests that completely bricked your save and your overall progress that you did not notice until hours later. Yeah… there were bugs no doubt. They were and are still amazing games.
This is Bethesda games it's natural their games will have bugs but main thing is the art direction , exploration And should have details terrain, HDT and particles effect and should not have too much of game breaking glitches , opening void . Those things which happen to cyberpunk 2069 when it was released
Regarding the economy not running while we are offline, that is a good thing as this is a single player game that is not going to be dependent upon server access for PC users. Also it is in line with Bethesda games and the modability, being dependent upon a server for that or always online requirements would kill a lot of the options in the mod department.
Metacritic or any Score is a joke. You can buy 100-1k to 10k "Votes" from dummies accounts. Sigh, that's why I never trust any of those scores, not for games or movies, series...
The funny part about all this back in 2016 I was a pony. But because Sony closed up fallout 4 mods to in game asset mods only I left PS for Xbox and then PC. Good job Sony. 😆😆 so glad I left.

For me it has to be playable on release, small bugs I can forgive in a good game, game breaking bugs is a different story, fingers crossed for an amazing game.
@@trevor4175 "going gold" literally means nothing. Every game development company has to send a finalized version of the game off for final verification and disc printing. Cyberpunk 2077 "went gold" in its launch state. As did Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda, all "going gold" really means is that for better or worse there won't be any more delays before launch
I wonder how many people have pre-ordered... I know I have. The wait is killing me. This is the first pre-order I've done in forever, since Skyrim I believe, and I waited outside of gamestop for like 5hrs or so at release.
I activated the XGP (windows) perks in the perks section. Is there a time limit in order to enter the game and get bonuses from perks? Or if I took the perk, it doesn't matter when I enter the game. Please tell me how does it work? I just got a lot of feathers. For example, for hi-fi rush, but this perk is no longer in my codes section, will I get bonuses when I enter the game?

I really hope Starfield is as awesome and beautiful as it appears to be. This is the first time I've been excited for a game to drop in a long time. I've had a lot of fun in the various elder scrolls games but I was itching to play a space game again. So for a while now I've been playing No Man's Sky. I like NMS but Starfield looks so much better in so many ways. Also - I subscribed today. I've watched a few of your videos and I like the straight forward approach without a lot of hyperbole and long introductions.
I thought you were about to mention apartment buildings when you were talking about housing. Rental properties could be neat but then we'd have to loot every couch, bed, and table to furnish the damn things. Haha! Also, I hope when settlements get attacked our remote defenses actually do something without us having to be there. >_> _>

I mean ps just got ff16 and xbox didn't nobody bombed that. Honestly proves the xbox community is better than Playstations community. Glad I switched up as playing games online has been much more pleasant on Xbox then it was for me on Playstation.
I can't understand the mentality of someone that would want to mass downvote something simply because they play on playstation. PC has always been the best platform for gaming, and likely will continue to be for the future. PC gaming has never been more affordable, I used a prebuilt 399$ PC for almost 6 years - even cheaper than a PS5 and it has myriad games, game pass, endless upgradability compared to PS5, no expensive required peripherals, etc.
Remember Cyberpunk 2077 and the PS4. PS fans need to CTFD. It appears they are jealous that Microsoft and Xbox have a potential awesome IP. Everyone should keep their criticism of the game to themselves and decide after playing it a while. Good or bad, it appears to be the flavor of the month. Keep up the good work, LT. I wasn't really surprised that they would base your parents based on your character. I mean, they did the same sort of thing with Shaun in Fallout 4. Also, if I recall, after they let everyone comment on the questions, somebody directly asked if you could use mechs. They answered a straight no.

My four biggest questions: 1. How do businesses work? There's a perk that allows you to start one, but no info on what that means. 2. Can you explore every building in New Atlantis? If every space of every building is explorable...wow... 3. Does your "force" power connect to alien technology, metaphysics, or new human tech we make? 4. What happened to the dogs and cats and horses? We would bring cats and dogs, or at least their dna to clone them? I think it's very doubtful we'd travel the stars without dogs/cats/horses. Lets go modders!!! I think people are in for a lot of, "what? wait...we can do that?" moments.
Man, I can't wait for this to finally release. I had such high hopes for elite dangerous and no man's sky. They're both great games but both are lacking in terms of what I'm looking for. No man's sky with it's cartoony graphics (still looks and plays amazing though) and elite dangerous with it's empty planetary exploration (Odyssey probably fixes this but I'm a console player). Already put in a vacation request just for the Starfield release because I'm looking forward to it so much.
It's only 2 and a half weeks away, but it feels like months. I just can't wait to experience the full force of bethesda bugs. I remember when Skyrim was released and how glorious the bugs were on that game. Imagine it on the scale of Starfield! How exciting

I hope that the change from 125Gb to 140Gb is the ‘reserved space’ for mods, as that was a problem for Fallout 4. Sim Settlements 2 Chapters 1-3 & Frameworks alone set you back 1.5Gb out of 2Gb. Todd Howard: “I think we underestimate how long people play our games” 🤞 this is an indication of them future proofing the console market’s enjoyment of their game.
Gotta be at least 5gb (I hope?) for mods - hopefully they've sussed out how much modding adds longevity to their IPs. MUST finish a 100% unmodded playthrough before the mods start arriving!! Suspect that MS QC will mean less for modders to fix, too?

Nice update. Really cool to know that there might be mechs in the game. Can't wait to stumble across my first mech. Really sad that there are fanboys going to great lengths to lower Metacritic scores for Starfield simply because it's an Xbox game. I don't think Starfield will be given a fair review from the major outlets so I'm avoiding them and choosing to rather stick to trusted sources such as your channel, MrMattyPlays, Colt Eastwood, ACG etc
A fixed economy doesn't necessarily mean a sandwich costs the same everywhere in the game. It just means that prices of goods aren't fluctuating over time.
Giant Serpent spoke to them mid jump... Alrighty, time for warp storm mod with random chances of daemon invasion mid star travel! Also... by outlawed mechs they mean they didn't wanna program them, but maybe a DLC in future (reuse the power armor system, but give us different weapon modules maybe)
Based off the pov and perspective of the Vasco's surroundings, I'd say it's about 7 to 7 1/2 feet tall. That is if it is a 1:1. Also don't know if they've mention it's height anywhere so this is just a visual guesstimate
i'm switching from the normal preorder to the premium at this point....five days early acess means 5 days to mess with everything and find out before the spoilers come.
I do hope i am wrong about the mechs now. To think we might get the mechs that would be cool. But also now i am slightly worried about companions. They do not level up? They are companions you can take with you and fight along side right? So are they actually useful in combat?
Great stuff. There was a ton of great information there that I am excited about! I am a bit disappointed that the economy is fixed, but it's not a really big issue for me. I was also surprised that the questions about infiltration was chosen as Todd Howard answered that question in great detail even before the direct.

This is the first time im interested in a sci-fi shooter. I like this alot. I almost bought star citizen just to get into star field. Instead I started playing no mans sky which is actually much better than before.
I know a lot of people don’t like Bethesda launches due to bugs , but I ironically love them due to the wacky humor of it. Can’t wait for my space ship to clip through a planet!!!
I was severely disappointed about FF16 not being on PC until next year. Not once did i feel the need to become petty and review bomb the game because my "feewings got hurt". Im looking forward to Starfield, though. Hype and caution are at an all time high for me with this game.
