Tired of companions and crew that don't see things YOUR way?! Here's an easy solution, just take yourself along for the fight. There's nothing like having everyone ask if you have a twin (they won't). #starfield #bethesda
This was the worst one to chase IMO because I had to go to the Lodge every time to find out if it was there. I end up watching a lot of RU-vid doing this stuff. ;)
In a twist of irony, a day after I watched this video I went to the lodge and found myself already there, delivering the artifact! I was already in this alternate when I watched it, since I was going through the Ryujin quest first. It threw me off since the first objective had the (MAST district) subtitle.
I've historically called the nine 'verses where the main Constellation members are dead, dying, hostile or absent "Alternates." Online I see them all lumped together, but given the path required to reach this one (recruit yourself), I consider it a "variation on a normal Starborn/NG+ universe." Until I found it, I assumed you could do the main quest. It fits that since you had to out yourself as Starborn because of the 'extra you', the main quest is taken off the table.
I have tried dozen of times to reload the starborn guardian hard save to get the first objective (without the mass district indication) I have seen all the alternate universes numerous times except the "recruit yourself universe". For some reason, thé mast district subtitle seems to be mandatory.
@@TheRockspirit I’ve gotten it twice (without trying and with different characters) and both times it had the MAST District tag. Both times I didn’t realize I had it ‘till I got to the lodge.
Looks like a really interesting one. Does the other you have any giod crew stats? Its such a pain, this NG im in all of constellation is dead and trying to fill in a crew with no names stinks, because they just disappear if you borrow a smaller ship and you can't recall them.
@@kineer Should be good, I look forward to it. The constellation crew, each person has a few skills, the no names have one star skill, so you need like seven crew members to give yourself most skill ship perks. So you end up with three no names that disappear every time you grab a smaller ship. I'm properly going to NG again tomorrow. This one I just concentrated on making money, I wasn't good, wasn't bad, it was all about the credits. I think I'm up to 4 million credits and that's with building a few 500k ships.
a. That's a ton of money. :) b. The crew video is scheduled for 8AM Wednesday. I have 8 non-Constellation crew members that give me almost identical ship performance benefits to the Constellation crew and none of the backtalk. I do not try to match 'weapon systems' skills as some of them never apply to me since I am almost always 'all particle beams' and I just level up my own skill there.
I still have never gotten an alternate start after 60 tries going through the unity. I am well past NG+ 10 I’m guessing there’s some thing that’s causing it to happen like a mod?
I can't tell you what happens after NG+10 but it's an interesting theory that BGS would disable alternate universes going forward. Someone the other day suggested it happens automatically everything fifth time after 10, but honestly why would BGS bother to put something like that in. If you are on PC, search it online and use console commands to force it. There's a global variable you can change from 0.15 to 1 to give yourself a 100% chance and I think you could even choose the universe you want. I've never used those console commands and just go through the Unity or reload from the Guardian save. As I've mentioned in your two other comments on different videos, this works fine.
Had a Harry Potter flashback to the ironic use of "dulcet tones" by George Weasley (when Harry was complaining in a decidedly unpleasant manner), but I decided I hadn't been complaining loudly and this was a complement. Thanks Luis! :) fwiw, the comic genius of Fred and George: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GUk5LzPJZgw.htmlsi=7l4rXcYYGBBVzKLd&t=228
@@kineer Thanks for that! Now I have something to spend time on while waiting for the next Kineer video 😍 And, indeed, dulcet tones were intended as a compliment.
