This was amazing! No one has shown off a decorated outpost so this was cool to see. I’d love to see your take on decorating a house, maybe the dream home or the free penthouse you get for the uc faction quest ending.

The design is Better then the actual game interiors

I wish we had doors to go between the habs. Breaks the immersion when one little hole would make the entire structure unlivable.

I can't stop watching this. I'm trying to get ideas lol. I love assembly type stuff to and decorating/designing/building. This is phenomenal! I plan on doing an out post or 2 on Earth and show case all the "old earth" stuff like museums by the land marks.

Why oh why do the little rectangle corridors take up a huge chunk of build budget!!! 😮 has anyone else noticed this!! Crazy

You will unlock more stuff as you level. Also, don’t forget the ships are also similar to settlements, as you unlock ship parts I can see you having a blast.

Man this is anazing. For some reason, i yhiught the habs didnt have windows, except for one, so i havent used the other ones. I also didn't know you can have stairs within the building, so thats good to know. I do hope theyll inprive upon it a but more some further exterior decorating would he nice.

you know you're an old tired gamer when after watching this you go back into your game and realize you cant figure out how to finish the rangers farm mission and have to go back onto youtube to find out you need to look in your inventory and read a gd tablet.........well done!

Holy shit! This place is Amazing! Especially for your "starter" base! This would be mine after 47 attempts! Lol Now I have an image of what mine needs to look like! I can't even find a spot where it will let me place an Outpost beacon! Lol

This is amazing. I cant figure out Fly Cam, I just keep driving into the ground, and I cant find any habitats with windows, and I have no idea how to get inside. Do I attach an air lock? Yeesh! And yet here you have an A-tier base already. :) Nice! I would love an intro video on HOW to build a basic starting structure for actual newbies. :) Or just keep making crazy amazing bases for inspiration! :)

Bruh you say your new to this game but the level of progress you made building this outpost, so early is impressive. The amount of resources alone must have taken you days to farm lol. Gonna build a nice outpost late game to try and master the system and then try and make my own colony with some outpost build overhaul mods on my second playthrough after Creation Kit 2 releases in early 2024.

It's incredible. With the terrible furniture rotation it must be such a pain to get that result.

If you give me a build limit, I'm using all of ot lmao. Great inspo, I just setup a base on the coast. Just have to find out how to remove the Landing Site droppzones so I can easily Fast Travel to my fave base

Dude! How do you already have a base this crazy?! I've been playing pretty much since the game went live (well alongside working on a room remodeling project), and I barely have enough resources to build some basic resource extractors & habs, and I don't have enough materials to build any gas storage for the fluorine & chlorine extractors, lol! At least I got a decent sized solar & wind farm, storage for the gold extractor and a bed, lol. Then again, I decided to set up shop on a rather out of the way system that isn't claimed by any major faction, so I guess I'm doing pretty good all things considered (Long story short, I decided to go off the main quests & survey the Eridani system on a whim, since one of my original sci-fi stories involves an alien race native to that system, and the initial orbital surveys indicated that it would be an awesome system to claim for myself, so I set down on the most inhabitable planet in a pleasant jungle area with a nice view, some cool stuff nearby & water, gold (lots of gold), fluorine & chlorine deposits in the outpost build zone for my first base).

Its really hard to make a tidy exterior in this game for me, because many stuff dont snap to each other except the storage modules, your interior works are beautiful tho!

I hope they eventually add in settlers and base defense like they did in fallout 4. Supposedly, wildlife and pirates will attack and damage structures but I haven't seen or heard of that happening to anybody yet. God bless the modders that eventually put that in lol

QUESTION: how did you craft the staircase and multi-level modules? what's the prerequisite skills and ranks?

To get crew, you need to go to the viewport at Atlantis. I don't know about the other cities though.

I've had it since the 1st, I'm not finding the building as isn't as intuitive as FO4, plus I feel like there's a lack of option, but maybe I have to unlock stuff or they might still add stuff though DLC's or CC. Your outpost looks great though 👍
