I did NG+ back in the beginning before anyone knew about it and i figured out i lost everything but instead of going back to a previous save i went ahead and just ran all the way through to NG+10 and then started my in depth game
This is exactly how i've played Starfield, the first time understanding the game and not diving too much in ship builder or resources, and now in my NG+ i have 10 ships made by me, all spectacular and different, few outposts and a lot of unique weapons and armor, for me the NG+ mechanics stops at NG+1, now it's play time! 🥳
In a perfect world the interior of POI’s should randomly change with each NG+. Also new POI’s and ship encounters. This would motivate the player to progress in ng+. Plus it is a multiverse things should be slightly different.
Majority of my characters will not be doing Unity. My play style is more RP-focused and less leveling/gear/stats focused. Once I have housing and things, or outposts and ships, I'll not be leaving those behind. I do have one character that I will be universe-hopping on as it's his ultimate destiny within the RP to keep searching for a way back to his own (he had an unfortunate stargate malfunction).
The most reloads I have done to get one is 18 but I have yet to get the universe with the self copy. In total I have done about 150 reloads of the unity.
