During my childhood, we moved a lot. Was hard sometimes, to leave all you know behind, especially cuz the internet and phones weren't a thing these days. Watching Stargate, the team going together through adventures, exploring other worlds. Was my highlite of the week and during thoese times I got familiar with them. Nowadays when I watch Stargate or listen to some music, I get that feeling back. It reminds me of adventure and a family feeling. In my opinion there will never be a better TV series cuz Stargate has it all, action, adventure, love, horror, wisdom, fun... and the cast is simply amazing due to the way they threat eatch other and due to their authenticity you can feel while watching... They became part of my familie and I will never forget.
12:29 For me, this will always recall that epic moment at the end of Season 1 when the team disobeys orders and steps through the gate into the unknown, on what they know will probably be a hopeless suicide mission to save the Earth.
the music of original movie -1994- was from David Arnold an english composer...one of the best soundtrack a heard in my life...the movie is my favorite movie of all time...the music of the series is from Joel Goldsmith son of Jerry Goldsmith (one of the best composer of movie music of all times)...great video and great MUSIC !
its perfect as background music, i use it for writing, i love it, but when the perfect note hits the mark and you go with the music, the nostalgia hits haard
What glorious scores were written for Stargate SG-1. David Arnold's original score for the movie, Kevin Kiner, Richard Band and Joel Goldsmith's wondrous music was the strength, the foundation and emotional underpinnings of the Stargate television series.
Built by Ancients so long ago, The Stargate lay ‘til we broke the code, Now it takes us to the universe On our mission to get back to Earth. We are hunted and on the run, And together we overcome, Fighting evil through the galaxy: Stagate Infinity!
This is very cool. I love those ambient bits with the voices and alarms. I'm not even a Stargate fan (I never could get into it at the time) but this is definitely my bag.
I need to know what episode the sad music near/before the 40 minute mark is. There's medical beeping in the background, so i was wondering if it's jackson in the infirmary. It's before the cute music that i associate with cassandra.
From 36:38-40:29 it's Daniel's ascension theme which is first played during his death episode S5E21 "Meridian". The theme is later used whenever Daniel is mentioned or makes an appearance throughout season 6.
Is there any way you could another video editing with the theme of the Tok'ra (the music that plays when they're usually onscreen) and also the music that plays in 2010/2001 when SG-1 is pulling off the plan of throwing the note through the gate? I'd really appreciate it.
If they ever brought Stargate back would you prefer a full reboot of the series, maybe with a cameo from SG-1 characters/actors in alternate universe/timeline episodes, a continuation of the original series, or a soft reboot similar to Star Trek 2009?
Joel wrote some of the most wondrous music for Stargate And Stargate Atlantis. (sorry I never watched Stargate Universe and I know he wrote music for the show but it wasn't Stargate and it was unwatchable) I love his music and there is so much of it that's never been released. When he wrote the theme for Atlantis he had several versions and everyone a masterpiece. He was an amazing composer like his dad and it's a shame he died so young but his creations live on for us to relish.
