That's because of the last episode of SG-1. They were all trapped on the Odyssey (I think) for over 50 years in a time dilation field while an Ori ship was about to kill them. Someone could go back in time and stop it from happening, but they'd stay old. Teal'c volunteered to do it since 50 years is a smaller portion of his life than the rest of SG-1. During the 50 years he started going grey.
The same method of defeating the big bad that they did with Anubis. So you've got Morgan and Adria plus Oma and Anubis going at it together for eternity.
Claudia black is attractive but Morena Baccarin ozzes sexiness, I remember her in the short, figure cling black dresses in the remake of Visitors. (You just could not take your eyes off her when she moved.) heavenly!
shame she cant act, all she does is smile or stare at the camera. Same as in Deadpool, and Legends of Tomorrow / Flash as Gideon (before they replaced her) at least she sorta of acted in Gotham before again just being the angry one that stares at people.

I have the 2 films and love them both.. and this bit from the ark is great,sorted the ori out once and for all..also the hole 10 seasons of sg1 .love them all.

It was probably Morgan La Fey who prevented Adria from stopping the ark from activating. If you notice, Adria seem distracted. She left quickly and then came back when the doci arrived. In that brief period Morgan showed Vala how to activate the ark
@@johnwillis4706 As usual Morgan Le Fey had to guide Daniel by means of an indirect root. Remember she showed Vala and Daniel the Cities' Proclaroush and Teyonas..but couldn't tell them which ones. The same here. It's like the ancients don't like being deterministic of the future. There must always be an element of chance.

She is not a deity at all that is what the whole movie was trying to prove. In fact the entire Stargate theme is to prove all these beings and extraterrestrials are not gods. Like the Goa'uld, who are Ra, Hathor, Yu, Sokar etc... just alien parasites hellbent upon galactic domination, though the way they did it was posing as gods. And later in Stargate Atlantis the Wraith are feared and worshiped by many people through out the galaxy though they are not gods.
I don't think they allow killing, so this would of been an endless battle (same for anubus as well she did not kill him just locked into endless battle witch prevented him from controlling him self in real world as well) )
Having Truth emblazoned upon one's mind is probably not fun - and from the way the light was playing over their faces, I'm guessing they got hit by some of it.
True, but there's a reason for it. Ascended beings cannot be destroyed or imprisoned. The only solution left is for another ascended being to "distract" them... forever.
@@MDP1702 Actually, they weren't killed so much as "neutralized". Daniel specifically said they couldn't be killed, so what Merlin's device actually does is emit a form of energy on the opposing wavelength of the Ori - essentially it "cancels" them out just like with Anubis and Adria. Basically it did what you see here, but on a galaxy-wide scope.
@@0megacron But if it is a kind of energy that keeps them "neutralised" for ever, wouldn't other ascended beings like Adria or Morgan not be able to go into the Ori galaxy without being affected too?
The Wraith deactivated the attack code, so the replicators stop there attacks against the Wraith, after that the Ancients destroyed most of the replicators.

Stargate command is responsible for a lot of genocide. The gho’ul, Ori, replicators. Probably could have added the Wraith to the list if we got another season of Atlantis.
SGC didn't kill the Goa'uld only their Empire, The Ori and Replicators were self defense and after the death of The Wraith Queen Death SGC and The Wraith were able to come to an agreement and ended the war peacefully The Wraith got the new retrovirus and in return The Wraith cede half of the galaxy to The Humans of Pegasus.
@@ff3player Most of the Wraith are dead as at least half of their 60 hive ships have been destroyed. And their extinction is inevitable once either they decide to take revenge on the Expedition, or the Pegasus humans advance and take revenge on the Wraith
@@ff3player I’ll concede that SGC only destroyed the system lords and not all the Goa’uld. Bringing instability and chaos to an entire galaxy with the SGC’s future actions after eliminating the system lords. As for the rest. If we had left the Pegasus replicators alone they would not have become a threat. So it’s not self defense but a violent response to the results of our own actions. The other replicators only desired technology and natural resources in order to propagate, which we did not have. If we didn’t align ourselves with the Asgard, the replicators would have ignored us. The Ori were content with the false belief that the Alterans had died off. Only because of our actions or more specifically the actions of the war criminal Daniel Jackson, did the Ori become a threat. And instead of first threatening them with a genocidal weapon and negotiating a peace. We immediately used it with no warning. By we I mean the war criminal Daniel Jackson. As for the Wraith. We have weakened them to the point that they must capitulate to our demands. We will most likely force them to relocate to reserved areas of Pegasus galaxy. Provide them with barely enough resources to live and demand gratitude for this generosity. Their extinction is all but inevitable.

@@AyrtonFelipe1 Ascended beings CAN still die. By either a special weapon or by the collective of ascended beings. I assume after a while the others would break up the fight and force Adria to either behave or die.
