Yeah whatever raids requirements for talking points and minimum time of video is for creators, it’s way too much. I literally go oh no and go from smiling to stone face as soon as I hear anyone say ‘raid shadow legends’. I don’t know if that is the effect you want your marketing to have. This wasn’t a horrible version of the ad but yeah I don’t know. I think they could benefit a lot from being a bit more chill and giving the creators a little more freedom in their take on it

Try to look a little past batman's cheesy name and you might find something way more serious than a superhero high school girl drama

Oh boy, that's a loaded question with a LOT of confusing history behind its answer. The short version is, it's kind of a long running joke/rivalry thing between Marvel and DC that goes all the way back to the 40's, 50's and 60's when there were fewer regulations for comic books and a lot of copyright and trademark laws either didn't exist, were poorly defined or were difficult to enforce. This allowed for a creative environment where creators and companies could pilfer each other's ideas, tweak them around a bit to sidestep blatant plagiarism, then release the slightly different idea and dare the other side to do something about it. Actually, CW owns Stargirl. On Tv the name of the show changed from DC’s Stargirl to just Stargirl. And I think DC Universe won’t be streaming any more future seasons of Stargirl.

It is being moved to the CW for season 2.

DC doesn't want anything to do with stargirl. Plus all the heroes outfits in this show looks like it came out of Kick-Ass. kick-ass didn't have the best costume designs.....

@@Tylertheslur honestly I disagree. What is good about the series is that they depict the teenagers like actual teenagers, not like mini adults. Courtney makes dumb and risky decisions because she is a teenager who doesn't know better. She gets lucky that her mistakes don't bite her in the ass too hard. She believes that her dad is starman because she doesn't want to accept the alternative. All of the other characters have their own flaws, Yolanda is unsure of herself due to how she has been treated as an outcast by everyone she knows, Rick is full of wrath due to how he has been treated by his uncle, Beth is a lonely and socially awkward teen which seems to be due to her upbringing. All of these characters have flaws that fit with their histories at the start of the series, and they learn and grow as characters through it. Also, none of them start out as all that heroic, if anything it is the opposite, which goes to show that anyone can be a hero. All in all its a fun series with decently written characters and realistic development.

Agreed, and in Yolanda's arc they accurately portrayed something we usually don't get to see in media and personally I think it was extremely well done and hit a lot of people pretty hard when they saw parents that instantly dismissed their kid instead of trying to see things from their side. It's unfortunately a very realistic position that a lot of people have been it at one point or another in the modern day and it just hits different. Everything's not always sunshine and butterflies and it was honestly very refreshing to see the less represented version of the 'average' American family.

And Courtney’s personality is what the directors gave to her, NOT something the actress chose. It’s fine for this guy to voice his opinion but I’m sick of people doing this. And you know what, since this show is sooooo terrible why don’t you spend your time doing something other then bother people on RU-vid and not watch the show in the first place

Geoff Johns wouldn’t let that happen and cg is not a problem because titans stargirl and the flash all have about the same budget but Stargirl has a different Production house than the cw shows plus titans and doom patrol.

It's still with conjunction of CW in the first season though... They were still working on it to 🤷

This is not how TV works. Its not the station, its the show runners/writers. I know people who work on these shows. You have nothing to worry about. The costumes were already made, so no budget has to go to that. The series is already only like 13 episodes, so don't have to worry about filler. But yes, Star girl IS a CW show and will crossover with the Prime earth shows once Corona calms down.
