The crows have the power to to whatever they want yet then get randomly restricted. They are constantly treated like the police when they are a private security company and have members that are cartoonishly evil. Ryan is a narcissist, and the show always makes her out to be right. Luke is worthless so bad they never have any trouble using the bat tech when he is gone (he is supposed to be the tech guy!). They keep changing black masks motive (first it was he hated batwoman, then it was his daughter got trampled and now its Jacob's fault). They keep making up bullshit to give Alice a redemption arc she has not earned (like brainwashing is a good excuse for her mass murdering and was clearly made up after season 1). Jacob is constantly treated like an idiot and always talked down to even when he was right (mary running a clinic with no license is really irresponsible). Do I have to go on? I seriously dont understand how you could ever non ironically like this series. I question if you have ever watched tv other than this.

There's one scene that legit passed me off. Luke discovered that Ryan had been hiding her kryptonite bullet wound for months and didn't tell anyone about it. He said something like "if that isn't heroic, what is?" NO, IT MAKES HE4 A COLOSSAL MORON!!!

@@GIGio_Official The sad thing is that I liked the premise of Batwoman. What happen to Batman and why did he left? Where did all his villains went? I thought they could kinda do a post Watchman world like the movie. For the first thing, Gotham seems like it is ok without Batman. It was almost that Batman clean up Gotham of the real bad criminals and just moved on. The other problem was to make Kate or Ryan look better because of their poor decisions they had to crap on Bruce/Batman. The second issue is with Alice. She was never a consistent villain with only motivation to go for revenge. Most villains can have a revenge story but they are more calculating on building an empire. By trying to make Alice more sympathetic, they nerfed her as a threat. It is like watching Pinky and the Brain where you know that Brain is mostly harmless and the threat is low. The other villains are too stereotypical evil or misunderstood minority that has been oppressed. There is no actually time that Kate or Ryan are really wrong or held to task for their poor views or decision making. In roundabout way, they make the right choices and the show will bend over backwards to show that. The disdain that Kate and Ryan have for the people who don’t support them is more hatred instead of understanding where they come from. I don’t believe this show has had one straight white guy be right or be seen as just average person trying to get by.

Regarding Arrow's gun control episode, one of the producers (probably Marc) said they regretted doing it the way they did and that if they could do it again, they'd make their "side" clearer. It's a fun fact considering how Batwoman does these things, even though I don't think the show has the same producers as Arrow did.

The first season was amazing, and the third was bad. The second season had it's moments, but was overall just okay. They tried to cram way too much into the second season. I'd say it was a good show overall. That's my opinion on the show anyway.

They have 3 seasons of young justice

S3 tries to push and shove way too many storylines into 1 season, most not going anyway. They added too many characters, while not even fleshing out past characters, that everyone loved, for new characters that no one even cared about. Ya, so S3 was a let down to most.

Season 3 of young justice is utter garbage and this is from someone who was pushing for it to be brought back because of how much I loved the show.

But I think it's fair to bash or criticize a show for having a bad season, given that in order for a season to be deemed "bad," most if not all of it's episodes have to be bad. Also a lotta people seemingly don't enjoy the show, given that it received an Average Audience Score of 17% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 3.4/10 on IMDb, and a 2.8/5 on Google Reviews.

Unless ppl don’t pay attention and actually give this show a chance past a single bad season maybe they can discover something different. There are many great tv shows and movie out there that are rated horribly by critics while a lotta bad movies and tv show rated well. In the end of the day....judging a tv show or movie is a lot more complex than a simple good or bad. Unless of its clearly apparent that the show has weak writing, plot, character etc etc which by no means is indicated in batman at least in season 2. I watched a ton of tv shows in my life to judge whether someone is genuinely good or bad....so I am not just saying stuff.

I mean the DCEU hasn’t really had any female villains. It’s kind of small right now. The MCU really only has Agatha Harkness and she was a horrible person. Going by the comics, Nebula was always meant to be redeemed. Every other villain is a man or an alien/god. Their problem is less “female villains aren’t that bad” and more “there’s not enough female villains.” Hell Blsck Panther’s main female cast outside of Shuri and the Queen are villains in his comic book. Now they’re good in the movie.

So true! There was something very funny about the Kate Kane cheese! I was willing to give Ryan a chance when I heard Ruby left, but wow, all of s2 just made me want her back even more once she gets out of this stupid hypnosis plot. At least she was willing to work with the crows and save her friends more than freaking Ryan (who only cares about Angelique & getting busted for drugs). I just want Kate Kane to kick Ryan to the freaking curb and return. Yh, love how the showrunner said Alice will be darker this season but they give her a shitty redemption arc and have her "in love" with Ocean. So dumb. Hope you consider doing a part 2 to this because I was very entertained and just really miss the days of s1. Notice this season we haven't gotten any BW villains! They literally all disappeared and we're using Batman villains now.

I didn't thin k it was possible to make Kate look like a semi decent human being, but Season 2 found a way.

It’s like Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown being Batgirl. Yes, Barbra Gordon was the OG Batgirl but Steph and Cass are also good as Batgirl. My point is, Ryan may be Batwoman but she’s not ‘replacing’ Kate, she’s taking up the Mantle from Kate. Just like Duck Grayson will one day, and has on multiple occasions, taking up the Mantle of Batman. So it’s ok to pass that torch to someone else. In this universe, Batman is GONE! Everything you say is 100% true. This show actually makes me genuinely angry. And I had a full section about Mary and how much of a shit person she is, but ended up scraping it as I thought that Ryan and Alice did a good enough job to show how every character is a horrible person. But yeah the fact that this show has one more season is fucking mind boggling

Keep in mind, however, that these shows aren't just meant for adults. As cringe as it is to say, it's meant for families with kids to talk about issues, blah, blah, go raise your own kids, amiright? But that said, if they don't "teach values" they lose those viewers. In a perfect world, it would be more balanced like the example in this video about Arrow on gun control.

I disliked at first when he said Titans is a bad show(it's flawed, but bad? come on!), but then changed to to a like when he praised season 5 of Arrow, which, in my opinion, is the best season of the show

The Black Mask in this show is probably the best live action adaptation of the character we've ever got. Such a shame. Would've preferred this Black Mask in the DCEU than the one we got in Birds of Prey.

Its sad what happened to the Flash the first two seasons were good then they just gave in to the CW curse.

Yeah I think your right. As much as I love Superhero shows, the CW needs to start cutting some corners so we can get back to how things where years ago.

The CW seems to be moving back in the direction of having less superhero shows now. They passed on Green Arrow and the Canaries, Painkiller and Wonder Girl and seem to be focusing more on remakes, Riverdale and All-American (by giving it a spin-off, among other things). Supergirl is coming to an end and Black Lightning finished last month. There’s only one more DC superhero show in development right now and that seems to be the only one coming up in the foreseeable future.

I still like legends of tomorrow just wished they didn't rotate the team so much. I do miss Ray, Mick, Leonard, Martin Stein, and Jax. I love Matt Ryan as Constantine.

It is gonna suck that Sara’s going to be the only one in the OG cast that will be still on the show next season (well, besides Gideon). The producers did state that the show would have a rotating cast though, and I’m enjoying both Zari’s as well as Behrad, Spooner, Astra and Constantine.

Its funny how the characters i end up feeling something for, the 2 crows, and Luke who didn't even want Ryan to take up the mantle in the first place.

Mary treats Jacob like shit. She works in an illegal clinic and he offered to set her up in a legal one but she said no.

alice is actually and was the only person that carried the show Majority of fans came for alice ok.

I haven't seen much praise of Batwoman. Any praise it gets is probably from people who know it sucks but are frightened of being called racist and homophobic by its fanboys and fangirls even though their reasons for hating it have nothing to do with race or sexuality.

Superman and Lois is really good. You should check it out. It's the only good show left in the Arrowverse since Arrow ended.
