Looks like the back of the figure has a bunch of holes in it on the sash for plugging in lightsaber hilts. My prediction is they’re going to re-use that sash for a Sith Stalker version of Starkiller in the future.
Honestly I am so happy that starkiller is getting recognition in an action figure as he is one of the the Star Wars characters I grew up on with the games that just really made me feel like a badass in the Star Wars universe unlike any other character well darth maul Vader and Kylo ren are pretty close too but I could imagine myself in starkillers shoes
Now u need another one so u can display his clone fighting against himself. Would be cool if u have magnets that can levitate him just like the floating DeLorean model from Back to the FutureII.
What they should’ve done imo is do the shadow trooper on this new stormtrooper buck. I know they done them before but that was using the OG bodies. I get what they we’re going for here though.
Some of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures come with blue lightning effects that you can fudge onto the hands. I do this for Archive Palpatine.
For my archive Palp I use the lightning effetcs from my Marvel Legends Endgame's Thor. I hope they give us the alternate heads or at least the saber effects on the single release :(
They said you can wrap the force lightning around the storm troopers maybe that’ll help keep his arm straight but really $110 and some of the accessories don’t work properly. I would keep this in the box if I got it

As a HongKonger myself, really shocked when I saw this available in one of the expo here. Never thought such exclusive set would be avaliable here before other places.
I really want this set but I'm also glad to hear starkiller will also be getting a solo release if I'm not able to grab this (I have a feeling that scalpers will be all over this).
Oh this is a scalpers heaven!! How do you know that he will be getting a solo release? Wonder if they'll do a deluxe set with all of his accessories but neither of the Storm Troopers?
@@LandspeederLuke That's good but scalpers always find a way!! They make seperate accounts, get others to make accounts and purchases. I love it when scalpers get stuck with products because the toy companies re-release those toys..!!
Nice review, thanks. Really cool outfit here for Starkiller. Would be nice if they issue this outfit for the carded figure versions too. Along with the Force Unleashed Ultimate Edition version where Starkiller is wearing the mask with the claw hands.
One detail that hints at another version of star killer, sith version. Is the multiple light saber peg holes for the light sabers he collected over time.
Ok, something I do wish they included, but is something we can improvise is the lightning saber slam effect- basically, a lightning effect to go over the lightsaber- If you collect the Power Rangers lightning collection figures, it's an easy enough thing to do, just steal a lightning weapon effect from there, y'know?
Hello Luke thanks for the early look at the new Starkiller exclusive set. Wow this set looks incredible. If I had the money I'd be all over this set, unfortunately due to rising prices and a severe lack of disposable funds I'm forced to pass on this set. I'm looking forward to getting the main line when he is individually released. Luke your speeder looks great and the Tantive corridor looks amazing, I wish I had a 3D printer sometimes. Awesome character but the original Gary Stu, he overpowers Vader and the Emperor while still technically an apprentice. Fun gameplay and what if stories, enjoyed the games for what they were.
Wish there was more articulation to make the figure seem worth it based off the price 110$. Because the marvel legends Deadpool two with a lot more accessories(26) and articulation for only 50$. I will get the Star killer 3 pack but also get the main line so then I can try to give Star killer double jointed elbows and knees.
Best Black Series exclusive ever. I can't wait to get mine. I enjoy all the accessories and display box. This is best of the best in BS. I remember playing this game on Xbox 360 years ago. I hope they can re release it on Xbox One physical disc. Now, if only Hasbro can do one in TVC format.

Good score brotha. The price point hurts+shipping but black series fans have wanted Starkiller for such a long time, it’s a definite pick up for me. Keep up the good work🐺🐺🐺

Great review! Definitely looking forward to getting either this or the eventual mainline release, Starkiller was a big part of my childhood and its awesome to finally get him in the black series! It'd be super cool to get more TFU characters, Juno, Rahm Kota, PROXY would all be awesome to get.
Got mine and had some bad luck with the saber blades; they were bent in the packaging and at least one of them (the normal red blade of all pieces) even had issues with the peg bent. I tried a bit of an amateurish job with boiling water and utterly screwed up; the blade remains bent at different angles, I left indents from the prongs I was using to get it out of the hot water, and somehow I squished the peg so it's too wide for the hole. And on top of that the force I was using on the hilt socket has cracked it. Trying my luck with Hasbro's customer service on that one but I know from experience they're generally not helpful. at best they'll just send you some other product as compensation as opposed to replacement parts like LEGO does. I'm resigned to having to get the single-carded figure next year to replace the saber at this point.
since i don't have any stormtroopers this'll be nice to get despite the price. but i just know the mainline release won't have any of the force accessories despite the game's name so that helps offset that
$110? I just bought it off of Pulse for $77! I figure that's about the average cost of 3 Black Series figures with all the extra stuff free. I guess I got the sale price. Don't think if I would have paid $110. I didn't mind the two Stormtroopers as I didn't have any OT troopers in my collection yet.
Great review Luke! Altho I do like the look of this figure, I don't think that I'll be getting this set for this price. It would be great to get all those accessories just for the sake of posing but still, the price is to high for me. Same as you, I already have a lot of Stormtroopers in my collection so I'm good with that. Again, great review. It's nice to see this set in hand so that we can decide on getting it or not.
At last we get a StarKiller action figure...but at this price!? Naaahhh! I don't need him that badly. I've gone this long without him already. I'll wait til we get a single release at a reasonable price. Looks awesome though!
Great review as always, the screaming head & force lighting looks cool but I will just get the regular release when it comes out, would love a with armour version of this character too but we will see,I got lots of gaming great siths this past week, maul, malgus & malak & basil(jedi),i am not complaining at all because they are all fantastic figures, give me more of this hasbro i will byy😆😆😆, gotta say a great job to hasbro sometimes because they give us great deep cut characters in the black series
Looks great. Nice review. Definitely will be waiting for the single pack. Effects and extra heads doesn’t make this worth the retail price. Not even close. I don’t even count those troopers lol
I'm happy they finally released the figure but I think the proportions are off, the head looks a little too small and emaciated and the body is too narrow, the shoulders should be broader, I feel like he comes across as looking like a teenager instead of grown man. More love went into Cal Kestis and Bastila Shan imo. If it gets a wide release as a solo pack I would still pick it up though
