They are really convenient. I like the 3-6 hour setting. 3 hours after dark in the summer and I am usually inside. Winter I may stretch it out a bit but it’s nice to have the lights go off at night and have the darkness of the country.

@@breakheartorchard4761 I agree, our lights are always off at night. The animals tend to come closer to the house that way and we can really see the stars. Our next video has a very large buck that came up close to the house.

You may want to put a rain loop on that cable before it goes into the attic.

This. You definitely want a drip loop. You're also going to have to unplug it to route it through your siding when you get around to that, so don't make it permanent yet.

LOL. I love the "out-takes" at the end of your video's as well as the once in a while QUACK. 🤣🤣🤣 I have a few LED motion lights much smaller than the one you're using. The work great for my much smaller area around my place.

Buys-5.com. S-5 brand clamps. It depends on the roof style and seem size.

Those lights look nice. I'll keep the link for when I'm putting some exterior lighting up. I'm using those S-5 clamps also to attach the solar array to my roof. Good Stuff

I think the best solution for making a post look finished is a metallic fence post cap. They are available plain to fancy and prevent water from absorbing in to the end grain. They might even keep it from splitting. I want to do that on a rustic shou sugi ban fence along about 500' of property line but that's a big expense unless I can find cheap salvage wood that looks nice.

To cut the corners off the top of your 6x6 post, set your circular saw at 45 degrees and cut the post off. Cheerio.

I sent mine back it kept dropping signal and froze up in the cold and would not tract the satellite.Hope your luck is better.

When placing the Starlink antenna in the pivot mount, it appears there is only one way it clips in. How do you rotate the dish to face North if the slope of my metal roof is East and West?

When you turn it on, it will face the nearest satellite. Just get it mounted solidly with the mast straight up and down.
