Starlink New Standard Gen 3, V 4 Satellite Unbox and testing, Bonus Pipe mount install. 

I Installed my Gen3 on a 4x4 post using the Standard Pivot Mount last week. I like the mount design, it's simple and well thought out, 4 Bolts, a snap and a twist. It was in my yard on it's kickstand for a month before being mounted and it's been solid.

Nice I used the pole mount for my install too! Been using the gen3 for 2 weeks now and the speeds are amazing. No other decent internet providers where I'm at so this has really helped out.

Thank you for providing this timely information about the newest version of Starlink equipment. It answered a few of the questions I had regarding the setup AND the optional pole bracket I was considering. You already know this I’m sure but your presentation of this information would have so much better if you had mounted the camera on a more stable base like a tripod or ladder. The camera movement really does detract from your otherwise good work.

Thanks, I was hesitant when ordering the pipe mount, glad I did not order it. Yes, that does look shallow and also having one side to pinch the CMT or similar pipe would probably not be sufficient to withstand a strong gust.

I just received my new Starlink. Also purchased the Ridge Line Mount. Didn't know I needed the Pipe Adapter kit... also, what do I use for a mast to connect my ridge line mount to the pipe adapter kit? Thanks

500 dollar for the equipment and they don’t even send a technician to install this for you. No thanks !! I would only use starlink for tv roaming or a rural connection with no other options.
