It's interesting to say the least. The pegasus has 4 large missile slots while the retribution is looking like faster but less gunned onslaught, similar to the Dominator
2 stage missile really hard to counter, especially with how far they can hit you. in sense nearly all ships below cruiser has no way to deal with it unless using interceptor or PCL spam
I love my Retribution, Meteora's Gambit is the name, she usually does 80% of the overall dmg in battle, with the right skills and hullmods, its just a Beast that will devour the enemy formations from the inside, outside, backside and frontside out
I got mine fitted with 2 mjolnirs and 4 Heavy Maulers. It rips apart things. The only downside is the limited range due to being unable to fit the Targeting cores and stuff. But even so...Its a great flagship.
Do you think Retribution is worth to use? Invictus and Pegasus are yes and really good, but honestly I found no reason to use Retribution instead of Onslaught or Legion. They are both 40 DP, have similar system (Just go forward quickly than normal) But the power level of those ships are just dramatically outmatched. Retribution should go down to 30 DP, unless dev intentionally made it as a weak junk ship for the pirates and Ludds. Too expensive, too weak and too inefficient to use as a player ship right now...
@@Kuba_K If I want a maneuverable capital for piloting myself I would choose SO-dominator, Odyssey or maybe Ziggurat, not Retribution. Yes she has some firepower on front but has shitty shield, armor made of paper and hull equivalent of balloon too. And if we consider AI piloting it is needless to say that Retribution will pop like a balloon. I rather use Prometheus MK.2 or Atlas MK.2 but really not this one. Honestly will not use it even if it really go down to 30 DP.
@@-NB7979- you are using it wrong then, it is not made for capital vs capital fight, but for hunting weaker ships. It is perfect for convoy pursuits or for killing phase ships, it is also great against pirates since you can easily hunt atlases mk2, and also it is great for early point captures since it can get to the point faster than some destroyers.
