Me: Ahh, Wraiths. A good concept with a surprisingly strong air-to-air punch, though a bit disappointing in any other role, being slightly too expensive for as slow and delicate as they are. A good idea for their time, but ultimately - Lore: "The other [variant of Wraith] was the CFA-17G, which came equipped with the ECM and stealth technology. I always preferred the Wraiths to other SC fighters for air superiority, even in SC2. Yes, their cloaks could be worked around, but the very fact one had to work around them, made them (for me) a lot more decisive air-to-air asset then their Viking successors.

Without constant support from earth, the terrans would not have had the collective know-how and infrastructure to be an advanced civilization. They would quickly devolve into something far more primitive and eventually rediscover how to build spacefaring vessels; assuming they didn't annihilate themselves first.
