So some of you noted that the audio skipped ahead at various times. It turns out sometime between when I finished and hit "Render", Da Vinci had the audio & video clips pushed slightly earlier in the timeline then it should've, cutting off certain audio clips and messing with the timing in general. I've rechecked it again and it should be ok now. ====== Starsiege: 2845, while ending up as a dud many Siegers hold a grudge about, had a lot skilled creatives working on it that seemed to really love the universe. And that much is evident in the "Years Between" segments they did back in the day. It deserved more exposure to a general audience, which is why I did it. Babe wake up, new SS video from Mac's Lore just dropped Also, I appreciate the little sprinkles of shitposting you threw in there a la Gierling being an angle or a devil
it's probably because some of the audio was randomly cutting out before he could finish certain sentences across the whole video so he had to fix it, I took notice but did not have the time to bring it up , some others probably beat me to it
Hey Mac, did you have any investment in the very obscure Starsiege tabletop war game by Agents of Gaming (Who coincidentally published Babylon 5: Wars which was a success) I see a few rule books pop up for sale but the minatutes are like gold dust and are very difficult to find- yet the minis seem perfectly accurate to the in games models. It's wild how starsiege & tribes seemed to roll out like a reverse (Videogame to tabletop) Battletech/Warhammer- tones of well crafted lore but it's franchise never took off as planned.
Well if you are interested in acquiring some of the Minis, back when I was on the Starsiege Discord some of the members somehow got ahold of an ex-Agents of Gaming person, and then that person when off to set up a shopify to sell off the leftover stock he had. agents-of-gaming.myshopify.com/collections/starsiege-rebellion
Ok so this is awesome, but one question. Maybe i missed it, but when/how did the Cybrid remnant get access to Ryu Pinch FTL drives to escape Sol system?
I don't think it's said anywhere, but I would believe it's not outside the realm of possibility that they would eventually get it. They could've gotten it from detailed analysis of an XGE-ship in an offscreen battle, or through some Trojan Horse shenanigans.
Yeah, it's kind of hidden. Graeme posted it to the Starsiege Discord a long time ago when I used to still be there, but Starsiege Project Works has it reuploaded here: starsiege.pw/_starsiege2845/Starsiege%202845/ Then there's The Flet. The host, a dude named Aldaron, was a tester for 2845 if I remember right, and has a bunch of random stuff from it posted here: www.the-flet.com/dynamix/ss2845/ The real tragedy was the loss of The Junkyard (the-junkyard.net), which had a bunch of stuff Trajan sent them to promote the mod as they were friends at the time. Mhaddy, the host had it working again a few years back, but now that no longer seems to be the case. So the only way to get at a fraction of what they had is through the Web Archive.
