Also with the fact that LITERALLY everyone he's ever met has liked him and has tired their best for him to like them, so it makes perfect sense that he doesn't understand what it's like to have someone that he is interacting with not like him. She is judging him and expecting him to be horrible and fake just because he is a celebrity and not a 'real person'.

These movies take me back to those days when we used to do everything we could think of to stay past bedtime to watch the movie and if we missed it we would have to wait til noon or next friday/saturday cuz that was when they aired it again

few fun facts: sterling knight who plays chris and brandon mychal smith who plays his friend stubby were both in sonny with a chance and the spinoff so random. chelsea kane who played chris's gf was in jonas/jonas L.A. and also baby daddy. danielle campbell who played jessica was davina st claire in the originals.

@@lilacdoves the actor only sang starstruck, the song. they had someone else sing for the other songs. similar to how Zac Efron didn't really sing in the first HSM movie.

Literally only would watch this movie for Sterling Knight 😂😂 The music is SO GOOD!! The main girl was incredibly annoying to me, but again… Sterling Knight makes it watchable Also, the songs sound autotuned maybe partially because Sterling Knight only sang the first song!

I think my biggest problem with the movie is that the "enemies-to-lovers" trope (which is fine but not one of my personal favorites) is done *terribly* here. The singer guy was unpleasant pretty much the entire time, shows up and sings a song in the final 10 minutes to make everything better and then the movie ends. These kind of romance tropes can work and be done well, but they have to allow enough time for the proper character growth and development to make the payoff at the end worth it, and this film simply doesn't do that.
