So little comments for such an art form that has no better counter-part subject than that of mastery of nature, whilst respect of the highest towards it. The representation of life and death, struggle and thriving; Bonsai is one of the ultimate lessons of life. For one example of it is that to get the best fruit you must have the best start you can, whilst the endurance and patience to see through each year that goes by in life. Yet even with a hard start, you can still find a way that will bring you true joy and peace. Just as the Bonsai does.
@@Unlimit3d1992 That link doesn't work anymore. Maybe this one will www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/ondemand/video/?p=result&mode=all&key=all&keyword=japanology&type=tvEpisode&
It would nice if this were in HD. Did you check what it looks like on a 23 inch screen (the usual here in the West) it's almost unwatchable. It's such a shame because these Japanology videos are great!
Susan, these vids are from 2009, there are entire episodes with no sound. I don't hink anyone will fix it, just appreciate that it is here for your enjoyment
FYI the missing audio keeps the video from being flagged for copyright infringement. That's why when you watch shows that are normally in TV on RU-vid you'll notice sometimes the sound is wonky. Hope this helps!
Peter , I really LOVE watching your videos...you have researched them all so well and they are infinitely interesting (and I think I've watched most of them by now) but the quality of photography is often terrible (especially in this one ) which is such a shame! My screen is 27 inch but even if I reduce the size of the picture, it is still so blurry that I can't see any detail. Even filming with an iPhone would get better results.....Please do keep making these but we would all appreciate better photography...at least in focus.
