Yup..I am passionate about nature.. Only organic farming.. My aims to plants 1000 tree yearly and actually growing them.. obviously cost effective advance farming..I m from Gujarat..Tapi district in dang forest...
Farmers are the most important people on the planet. Farming is the most noble job of all. Farmers feed the world with their knowledge and hard work. May people be intelligent enough to understand
Digamber Karekar , do I understand you correct? People just need to buy cars, phones and housing. Nobody needs food and water. People can just Pick-Up food at any place for free. You don’t even need to work to get food. Or did you mean that people do not value their farmers and food and just live to spend money on junk.
Yeah it is a saying in India " Job , Business and Farming as subordinate , OK and the BEST respectively " but unfortunately since decades it is the other way round !
@@nobody-oj7gk well it seems that you're from a different place We have different backgrounds I'm not giving an excuse but in India it's hard to manage academics, especially when you're outside of your hometown. Thank you for your wishes
Hello Sir , I am a Teacher , just started of my organic garden , It really heals me , all veggies growing up , it’s amazing experience to grow your own food . We have organic gardening classes in our school too . Thanks for the video . Will share it with my students . All the very best .
More retirees should take up organic gardening as a hobby to fill up their time. It is healthy and enjoyable,. Start small by just growing some veggies for the family. It is not expensive. Simple gardening tools tools will do. For fertilisers, make compose from scrap vegetables.Make enzymes to kill pests.Try it and happy gardening.
Wow! In the age when farmers are leaving their home and land to move to cities to find jobs...its so amazing and moving to see people going back to mother nature in search for a better solution. This is so good.
I have come to tears watching this video. Respect for this brave and inspiring man. Hope he continues his journey to help more and more people. Wish him all the best.
This was an excellent presentation. We have a roof top garden in Staten Island, NY. Everything in containers. Herbs, such as basil, parsley, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and dill. Also we have Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, beets, sweet potatoes, and lots of flowers that my wife picked to attract bees, and butterflies. We were talking about the physical difficulty of farming this morning. But as you said the rewards outweigh the hard work. Thank you for explaining about going for walks in the soil, and woods to overcome depression. We will pray for your daughters eczema to be removed, and for her to be fully healed.
Karrene Janyll Hi. Thanks. We really try our best, especially on a low budget. We just recently bought a clear plastic, steel pipe, miniature green house from Christmas Tree shop to protect some of the plants from rain water damage. It's a really cute addition to our unorthodox garden. What type of growing do you do? Oh, and what part of California are you in?
sir, as we stay in flat, can we grow tomatos, cucumber, sweet potatoes and bananas in container in a balcony?? please tell me what kind of vegetables can i grow in my balcony?? thanks in advance
Keep on going my dear brother the idea it's so perfect and awesome , I'm Dave from Cameroon west africa, and an organic farmer I'll like visiting your farm in the nearest future. more grace to your efforts. you've explained it all
Dear Shankar sahib, i am deeply touched by your views about farming and farmers. Whatever you say is through personal experience and commitment. Wish you best in organic farming.
It's really lovely how you have found yourself in your own land. I would like to know how your daughter has healed since then. So good to offer a work and career program to people in need. I applaud your efforts
The Moringa Tree (moringa oleifera) AKA Miracle true can grow here quite happily and in dry arid climates, and it has an exorbitant amount of nutrients!
Thats an Amazing testimony how you came from a techie to help your daughter and to start up a organic farm. Im from New Zealand but I"m not a farmer, but here is a suggestion, look at starting up micro organic farms, in schools, neighbor hoods etc, that my friend would be cool. You are already healed my friend because of your kindness and love for others whether rich or poor. Their Love for you will touch your (Wairua) Spirit and you will feel it move in a way thats Eternally Amazing. Your love also for the land and its surroundings go hand in hand with the people who Love it also cause our Physical DNA is made from the Earth and our (Wairua) Spirit lives in us and you will see their Spirit through their Smiles, Laughter and the Light in their eyes switch on because of the hope you have given them. And it will touch you and move you in ways beyond our understanding. You are rich in many ways.

Simply grateful that people like you are there in this world, specially in India. The way you want to include and dignify the farmer is exceptional. I see love, hardwork and a pure heart. Your project is already blessed, let it blaze. With respect - Vijay
@ They don't even have proper food. Anyway, living there is dependent on visa and Indians will be the last one to get green card. I don't know if it is worth waiting for 15-20 years to. settle in a country that is willing to take illegal immigrants as citizens but deny citizenship to legal workers.
Great video, I'm 21 yrsold , I was preparing for ifos and my optional subject was agriculture I started to learning about agri soil science organic farming now I want to work in my farm don't wanna pursue any job , I live in a village where I work daily in my grandma's little farm, next year I'll start a organic farm ❤😊 I'm glad to share this here
This is the first time ever i m adding a comment to any you tube video. Each and every word of Mr.Shankar is heart touching. Yes touching the soil does heal you from within. And very impressed by his work and vision.
Salute sir for your thoughts I am an agriculture student 1st year I too am attracted by the nature and wish I may meet you and learn something from you. Professionals like u are helping farmers to gain there pride. It's quite ironical that those who produce food are the hungriest.
U inspired me sir.though I'm a son of farmer am very interested to do organic forming.but now I'm working in Bangalore but one day definitely I'll Start..
Excellent analysis, observations and presentation.the fact of Indian farmers presented is apply throughout the country as I experienced same observations in Maharashtra also ,all the best for your future agro base programs
I was busy at the lab working on my report, then needed a break, but the break I took to watch this videos I hope will change my perception and encourage me to strive towards establishing myself and other youth as contributors to advanced farming practices in the future. Thank you, keep up the great job.
Very true sir,I really enjoy being with the trees and plants around my house, whenever feel depressed, they are my true relations, feel very fresh and happy to see them bloom whither and bloom again they keep changing according to the seasons,I literally talk and sing to them have seen them nodding and listening to me, it's a wonderful feeling, one of the best videos I have ever watched, keep doing the good work, mother earth will definitely bless you.
Namaskar Sir Ji, You brought tears in my eyes. What a wonderful work you are doing. May you be blessed with divine grace..always.Very grateful to people like you who take care of Mother - India Pranam
Inspiring others in ways that can open up to what can change so many pathways..going back to nature and growing brings back what has been lost..well done to you for being the seed.🌳
What a wonderful man! I would love to organic farm myself. It's inspiring to see this. So sad that farming is not respected for the true value and importance it actually provides society.
Truly inspired. I am a web designer. 5 years ago, I left city life and came back to my village. Now trying to grow organic food and a startup. Lots of dua for you Sir, hope we can meet very soon on your farm.
@@yayeeyeeya7646 Hi guys ! In France few NGOs are collecting seeds from old people to grow them back and sell them. The main one is Kokopelli and they are struggling in court with Monsanto ! It might be hard but they achieved something since court takes times and never stopped their work, the old and fully organic seeds are growing again with taste in every fruit and beauty in every flower ! I hope the western world didn't kill all the ancient seed ! Hope from France !
Awesome awesome video sir I am civil engineer stuck in lot of debts and I'm actually doing farming since 4 months and I can feel when we live between nature it gives u strength to resist mental tensions it's like a silent therapy that who are in touch with nature only they can understand 🙏🏻😇love from Bhopal , currently I'm growing coriander ,guavas , capsicum in polyhouse
Very practical video for engineers thinking to quit job and start farming. Take away-'you should save some money before starting Farming'. I have similar family situation like this man and hope to get trained from him one day
As a teen, I really love farming. I am hoping one day, I can build my own farm. But for now, I'm slowly building my own garden first and I took agriculture as a course.
Sir, I came across your video when I was searching for organic farming. Been optimistic about being an organic farmer. And watching you, I gained enormous confidence and would love to be trained for what I love to achieve in this kind of farming. I think I am taking a step into getting to know so much more. Please reply back Sir !
People think farming is for poor people. I dropped out of respectable Engg. college in Mumbai because it was just not for me. Always had the love for gardening. After lots of research took over our family village farm land in Kokan which was lying dormant. Its my 3rd year here and I make roughly 10-15 lakhs a year farming after expenses and labour. Already bought another 5 acres to expand. Couldn't be more happy.
Oh gosh, Dear Shankar, you truly had me in happy tears with your story. You are a testament to the healing world. Funnily enough, when most foreigners think of India, yoga & meditation cross the mind. The idea of learning organic farming by your side has resonated with my heart more than anything else. Until that time, continued success, teaching and evolution, dear Star ☆♡
Hello Sir, I am pursuing MBA currently and have a vision to incorporate best technologies in farming . I am impressed by what you are doing, but it would be revolutionary if this noble initiative reaches masses and helps them practice the learnings. Any step forward to increase the farming productivity is remarkable and I would be glad if you could direct a complete amateur like me to contribute for the same cause.
Sir, yes it thoughts are absolutely realistic, no one is ready to farm, even some of today's generation don't know that , from where the vegitables are coming,.. My self Satish Chiniwar, from Karnataka, Belgaum, in this lockdown I am getting a huge inspiration towards farming, I am having a 16 acers of land, but it's little bit dry, ground water is in salty format, how should I start a organic farming in this condition, I don't know sir, whether in future I ll start it or not, I kept it in target, Pls. Suggest Some words for me,..
Hello Sir, I am truly inspired and touched by your story. My father-in-law (recently retired) shares the same passion for organic farming. He is based in Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) and owns farming lands. The methods of farming there are conventional (in terms of produce - concentrates on wheat , paddy and cash crops). Looking at the potential for organic products in the market , he is driven to go for organic farming. As suggested in your video there is a training you provide, please share with us the details to enroll and visit your farm.
So beautiful..So inspiring..I love farming..U can feel the earth breathing wen she germinates n sends a little seedling out..as if she is exhaling..Got my second calendula flower today and it's a treasure feeling...Nature gave u a little goodie..Let's all love our earth this way, help her breathe, make her happier..If not farming, please do your bit by growing a little plant on ur desk or in ur balcony..Every little breathe counts..😇🥰
Shankar venkatraman is a source of inspiration to many young and old . He is doing a noble job by training youth in organic farming. I salute his efforts.
Yes I am very much interested in the project of organic farming in order to provide organic fruits and vegetables to the people and in the process help them to be healthy always.
There is a misconception around farming that has really harmed the environment overall. Farming is associated with poverty, so my generation seems to have almost completely ruled it out as a potential career. I love what you're doing here, than believe you are not only healing the earth, but being a safe and healthy place for so many young people. Your impact is outstanding. Thank you.
Simply Inspiring, i have quit my corporate life an year ago and introspecting my life. Farming is my calling. I defenitely want to work in your farm to get more insight and better vision. Is that possible?
Hi Jahnvii Asharr ....if you feel that your calling is farming then you should go for it....You can connect with Shankar at 9790948235 via call or what's app...Hope this helps😀✌️
Excellent introduction sir, I saw your other basic course videos and saw this, so kind of you for your noble service in farming sector to our Motherland. Hoping to meet you one day soon and learn from you before I venture farming, the closest to my heart.
I'm also thinking about doing the same in future and the problem I have is simply the funds which I don't have😉.. but I'm hopeful. You are doinga great job sir, farming is future. But risks come with it. May all those hardships vanish away with your hardwork and a little bit of luck. May God bless you sir.
