Jeremy Clarkson once said that cars really are like people. What I love about what you do is you treat these cars well, you get the engine going, take them for a drive, clean them inside and out, and get them back out on the road. So many videos are just of looking at or starting the car, you actually *care* for the cars you work on and its what I love the most. Hope you get your workshop soon.

The 3.3l was one of their best engines. The 3.6l is too east to break because of a weak timing chain design.

A 90's survivor, most of these have sadly rusted away or have been used and abused. There's now a first gen Pontiac Trans-Port in my hometown of Belgrade. Dark green, almost all original apart fron a touch screen radio that was installed, it's in really nice condition.

Yeah, most Chrysler products from this era unfortunately fell victim to cash for clunkers or were beaten the hell out of just like every other Chrysler minivan. Also amazing that you got to see an original Dustbuster Tran-sport. There’s a green Lumina APV that I see every so often.

soooo... a few things !!... Normally I do like your videos, tbh I have watched every single one of them, but there are some points that I would like to make out on this one. -First of all, What happened with the gearbox? Was it fixed or you drove it all this time in first gear? -Second, what was that leek? Why did the engine bogged down when you where installing that hose back? -Third and last, I do enjoy a good car cleaning but after the 3rd minute showing just one panel I lost interest. I know that English is not your mother language. Neither is mine, probably you can tell from all the mistakes that I've made so far, still though some info about what you are doing and why, would be much appreciated!! I'm here to see it! The master working on American junk haha. Great job! I had a '97 Caravan that I bought new. It had about 50,000 miles on it and just died while I was in line to drop my son off at elementary school. Just died dead. Nothing. Luckily there was a Chrysler dealer next door. Walked over there to have it towed. Saw a new Town & Country van on the showfloor and just traded it in. They offered me way over book value which I thought was crazy since it was broken down. Salesperson says they will fix it no problem and have it sold within a week. I went back 2 weeks later to get my license plates installed and saw it in the shop with a nightmare of wires coming out of the engine bay and it looked nowhere close to being sold LOL. The Chrysler ran 200,000 miles without a problem though.

This is something I can finally relate to! It sounds like an iac might be bad since it can’t properly adjust to influctuation of an air leak. Those 3.3 are a bit hard to find in the swb configuration most were 2.4/3L you had to get the upper trim level to get it with that motor which from just looking I think this is a Plymouth voyager. Hope you fix it try replacing the shift pack solenoid first if not check your level of fine change fluid and filter might be clogged if that not it it just might need a rebuild at least the pin hasn’t shoot through the case yet.

Outside of north america they were mostly sold purely as the chrysler voyager or grand voyager, dropping the town & country, plymouth and dodge caravan names, not seen them here in the UK in this generation (aside from the ones brought over by US services on their bases), the later ones were popular for a while, especially fitted with the 2.5L VM Motori diesel engines, apparently more economical...
