The design of this car is amazing, the rear door is concave outwards which gives a little more space for cargo, and one great feature the rear pillars are slim! Lots of cars thick rear pillars which sucks, because of blind spots
Poseo una Ssang Yong Musso 1996. Tiene 186.000 Km. Funciona espléndidamente. La uso una vez cada mes o cada 2 meses, y arranca instantaneamente (pero tengo la precaución de desconectarle la batería cuando está parada)
Cool cars and easy and simple to work on too .very basic when compared to today's cars.just look out for rusted out rear chassis as you had better be handy with a welder of its breached Also the air operated 4x4 freewheel hubs go bad due to vacuum leaks due to aged rubber or the metal hose holder rusts out on the hub .you could mess about and fix it .I just went and brought some manual free wheel hubs off e bay ...job done ..Water pump can go bad by 100 thou ..and rattle .but it hasent leaked yet ..doesent look that hard a job ..new water pump 30 quid.part worn tyres 40 quid with another to fit the tyres .mice had built nest in air intake and blocked the heater inlet .easy to fix took them apart and cleaned them .also they had done the same with engine air intake ..full of shit ..took it apart and cleaned .started up after three years in a field.next Mot time

Because sadly most of koreans are not driving this car for some old emmision law reasons by government(that sucks) That’s why they imported this car mainly to Eastern Europe or asian countries like china.
Does anyone knows if those 4x4's are reliable? Bcs i am looking to change my BMW e39 for a 4x4 and i see a lot of those Ssang yungs for really cheap. But i dunno ,that's a chinese car ,isn't it?
Hi, its from Korea. Diesel engines are from Mercedes-Benz. We had this Ssangyong Musso for 7 years and once we fixed alternator, made front drive shafts connecting to mechanical, and 4x4 electronics were weak but under car we still put to rwd or 4x4. And we had little oil leak from transfer case. But it was very reliable. Ive thinked about buying suv again and when i look cheap ones i would take ssangyong again.
@@Flexiny my uncle has the same car (Musso) but it's a gasoline M104 3.2l variant. It has same problem, oil leaking, idk where it came from. It's a facelifted variant. Axles from dana 30 front and 44 rear. Mercedes benz 4 speed auto.

En que te basas para opinar tal cosa? Yo hace un año que tengo SsangYong Korando con este motor y es maravilloso su funcionamiento. No parece que tuviera 26 años de vida. Sus terminaciones y materiales son excelentes. El problema es que SsangYong es una marca poco difundida
