Childhood car memories :) my parents boss had a Scorpio, leather interior, electric seats, electric everything . I thought this is what rich people drive
@@borjaevo Yep, my scoolmate had 1986 5 door Scorpio 2.0i Ghia back in 2004-2005. With electric rear seat. Was very very odd car to 20 year old boy. 😅 Everyone else had Sunny/Almera, Golf or Kadett/Vectra. Girls think that Scorpio was most unsexiest car ever. 😂
It's great to see a Ford in such good condition. These cars never die and will live with you for another 30 years to come. 🌹Thank you very much for the interesting videos. Greetings to you from Algeria 🇩🇿
Sometimes you heading to junkyard in little rainy and you found what you have been search for your nice car so you brough it and restore it a well, nice job Flexi 😎👍
Top video guys, my uncle who passed had a full leather spec one with the 2.9 in it went like a missile back in the day, nice to see another still running strong ❤
These were available for a few short years in the United States under a brand called Merkur, sold at Ford dealers. I became aware of the Scorpio in high school around 2002-2004 and have loved them ever since. I've been looking for one for a long time, but they are exceedingly rare. Thanks Flexiny for a great video once again!!
Good old Fords. Rust like crazy but don't die. Our royal family (i'm in Holland) drove these, and Granada's before that. (well, for the public eye anyway 🙂)
Nice. We had 1987 2.0i Atomatic with Ghia trim. Electric windows x4, electric sunroof, AirConditioning, electric back seats, stereo system with amplifier.
This we can call a great old Ford who never dies if you treat him good with no neglect. I think is still in very good shape,he aged very nice imo.Very worth save this gorgeous car, love sedans. It could be a good family/sporty car for some family with no much money. If i had him it would ride every week and would be proud ! A good cleaning and service, good suspension and new set of wheels its good for me 30 years (: Great content like always i apreciate your love and dedication to the videos and more important the dignity that you guys show to the car. For me my car is part of me.For curiosity my daily driver is a 1998 Ibiza 1.9tdi still better than some crapy plastic and electric,no hating on those but, good cars are the oldest ones. I remember my uncle on a Sunday the only day off of him he spent time with his father bringing back to life Vw Carocha and Vespas the motorcycle, the love they give i see on your videos. (Sorry for the long text) Have a nice day
Good car the "Granada"; i used to drive a well used 1990 2.9 Scorpio with all the extras, it was a tough old bus that just went on and on...until i switched to a Mondeo 24v. Miss it!😔🇬🇧
Wow, I had such Scorp, 92 sedan with dohc. I still remember these fiery forum topics "V6 vs DOHC")) Later, I got an V6 2,9 Scorp, and yes - it was much funnier to drive, except refuelling)
Nice Video! I Like old Fords, especially the 90's ones, like this Scorpio, but it needs some work: front bumper, suspension, brakes, rust, dust, exahust, the leaves on the windshield, turn signals, the horn and some nice wheels, and then Drive like it's the 90's! I wanna see it on the road again, where i live there are lots of old cars, but they are like from the 70's or 80's, even some are of the 90's like the lots of Toyota Tercel models everywhere.
One of the very last of what us Brits knew as the Granada Mk3. My Uncle had a 1991 Granada Ghia 2.0 in Diamond White back in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. Lovely car. Ford canned the Granada nameplate in 1994, and gave us the new bug eyed Scorpio instead. Ugly as sin…but a super comfy barge.
